Clatterbridge Hospital

General hospital Cancer treatment center

😠 It would be helpful if patients were provided with clear instructions as to where each department is. The maps from a google search are rubbish. Oh and if your appointment is on a weekend good luck finding someone to ask, it’s like a ghost town. Also departments don’t answer the phone either. Arrive... People often mention staff, cancer, helpful, hospital, service, care, friendly,

Oh and if your appointment is on a weekend good luck finding someone to ask, it’s like a ghost town. Also departments don’t answer the phone either. Arrived ten minutes late despite arriving 10 minutes early for my appointment.

Helped me out when I needed them. Great teamwork and person centred care focussed on each individuals rapid recovery with first class delivery and oversight. I witnessed first hand the International team of Key Workers unite in service to all those they were called to. Humbled by your humble natures. #TEAMBROOKLANDS Many happy memories of you all ❤

Excellent. 5 stars really doesn't do it justice. The stars are for the staff and in particular one doctor who listened. SKL.

Visited the breast clinic. The staff were all friendly & reassuring. Very efficient service. I was unsure where the clinic was held so had to ask. Maybe a map of the site could be sent with the appointment.

Having recently undergone a half knee replacement I was assigned to Ward M2 Orthopaedics. Quite simply what an incredible group of people.! The dedication , professionalism care and compassion shown was on a different level. Nothing was too much trouble to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Food OK but did not have much appetite during my stay. Overall I cannot believe there is a better ward anywhere in the NHS, and I sincerely hope management appreciate just how outstanding these people are.

Thanks to all at the cancer care centre. The staff are so friendly and efficient. Everyone smiles and makes you welcome. How they remember your name after a few visits I will never know. If you have the time whilst waiting for transport etc call into Maggie's it's not frightening and you will meet the nicest people. Cancer is a very leveling problem that means you are not alone. If you are sent to Clatterbridge you will be in the best hands.

Went for my 5th Chemo today. As always, the nurses were attentive and friendly. Although this was my most painful session, it was still handled professionally and with care. Well done to all concerned. Very clean hospital and all precautions against Covid are in place, and monitored regular. Overall it is a pleasant Hospital to be treated in. Felt safe. Can't wait to ring that Bell when I get the all clear in the next month, hopefully.

The cancer treatment unit is rotten. My father had cancer and died of it. They could not have been less compassionate. Not worth one star

Clatterbridge unsafe when doing blood checks your left with a mark that you never had before it was black abd blue then changing colour over days later watch out for the rude volunteers aims at men not others have you been tested well no of your business test all patients before hospital appointments before hitting at disability patients
