Experienced the Hawk Walk for the first time today - it really was an amazing experience (even in the cold!) and Lisa (professional falconer) was great, very knowledgeable, experienced and passionate. We learned a lot about the birds and it was great to be able to see them up close. Having the hawks follow us along as we walked through the forest, and watching them fly towards us and land on our hands when there was a piece of food, was so worth it ❤️ Not something you experience everyday! We met Ivan, Carl and Ben (the 3 Harris Hawks). Carl definitely stole the show, he was so lovely, very well behaved, engaged and responsive. Also very glad I briefly got to meet little baby Ben at the end, approximately 10 months old with very fluffy feathers! Definitely recommend going for a walk with the hawks! What a day :) enjoyed every second of our owl experience. Lisa was an amazing host she made us feel really welcome and had some funny stories to tell about her own owl experiences. Only downside was it went too quick... we could have stayed all day. The birds were all really friendly and you can tell they were really well looked after and have amazing trust for Lisa. We had one owl that wasn't feeling it I loved that Lisa didn't push him. Can't recommend the place enough and we will definitely be back.

Received a 1-1 photography experience as a gift. From the start Lisa and Steve were fantastic, asking what I wanted to get out of my time with them and if there were any particular birds I wanted to photograph. The selection of birds they have in their care is spectacular! I was fortunate enough to meet some incredible birds and handled by two talented falconers who knew how to handle each to their best potential. I came away not bothered if I had any good pictures as I'd enjoyed my time so much I was satisfied just being there. My experience was personal, relaxed and well delivered. Would highly recommend to anyone considering!

My patner took me for my birthday and it was incredible! Steve and Lisa had such passion for what they do and made it such an amazing experience. Would 100% recommend and would love to experience it again :)

FANTASTIC! Just came back from our morning Hawk walk which was really great. Lisa is so knowledgeable and passionate about the birds. It certainly doesn't seem like it's a job for her, more like you couldn't stop her flying these awesome creatures if you tried! Ivan (Harris Hawk) started off the adventure, but also fancied a chilled out day following along rather than swooping for prey. However then out came Carl! He never took his hawk eyes off us and flew beautifully with us landing on our gloves whenever a bit of food was offered up. Fabulous bird and an all round memorable experience. I would recommend this experience to anyone. Thanks Lisa, Ivan, Carl and Ben for a wonderful morning. Well definitely be back to see and hold more of the birds at Shropshire Falconry soon.

Fantastic & great value owl and hawk experience last weekend. We met owls and flew hawks, it was SO much fun. Steve and Lisa are incredibly knowledgeable and treat the birds so well. Can't recommend enough!

We booked a private experience with Lisa and loved our time with four of her amazing birds - all so different - and by the end of our time we really felt we knew their personalities - incredible. so great to get so close to the birds and to fly them. Highly recommend, Lisa's passion is infectious.

My sister and I did a hawk walk with Steve and had a fantastic time. Carl and Will (the birds) were both so loveable in their own unique ways. It was fun to learn the characters of them and to hear fun facts from Steve, and most of all it was just fantastic to see and feel the birds fly so close and to have them land on the glove.

I had the most unforgettable experience at Shropshire Falconry and would not hesitate to recommend booking in with them. Both Steve and Lisa were friendly, knowledgeable and you could see how strong their bonds were with the birds. Little did I know they had conspired with my (now) fiance to deliver the perfect marriage proposal with the ring flown to me by Mojo whilst he got down on one knee. I am so grateful to them for making such a special moment all the more special and they were such wonderful people I am so glad they were a part of it. I am sure this was the first visit of many! I met 7 different birds up close and personal and it truly was incredible. As someone who has always loved owls to be able to meet so many one on one was such a unique experience. Cannot wait to go back.

Went today with my mum who is disabled Lisa was amazing and included her in the fly which made her day as she didn’t think she would get to take part in that bit. Birds are very well looked after and it was a great atmosphere would highly recommend it and I would go again!

We came with family and had the best time ever. Lisa was amazing. She assessed our relative confidence levels and took her time to introduce us to a number of owls as we grew in confidence. She is very passionate about what she does - and she and the owls made a great team. Thank you for visiting our Year 1 classroom with your feathered friends this week. You provided the children with a hands on experience as well as a wealth of information on owls. Just what we needed to bring the topic to life! We all loved it!

I had the pleasure of doing a fabulous workshop with Jonny Mo through Photosoup at Shropshire Falconry a couple of weeks ago. Shropshire Falconry is a fantastic destination for anyone interested in birds of prey, and a large part of that is thanks to the dedicated staff. Lisa and Steve are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their work. They have a deep understanding of the birds' personalities and behaviors, and they are always happy to share their knowledge with visitors. One of the best parts about Shropshire Falconry is the opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of birds, and it's also a great place for photography enthusiasts. You can capture stunning close-up shots of these majestic creatures. The staff were so happy to provide us with tips and tricks for capturing the best possible photos of the birds. Up close we saw baby barn owls, a tawny owl, red kite, white faced owl, kestrel, burrowing owlets. Then we had a chance to try to capture some birds in flight, Indian rock owl and two hybrid birds of prey that were so fast, they really tested our skills! We even had an amazing experience holding Islay the Golden Eagle. Shropshire Falconry is not open to the public, so when you book you know who’s going to be there. Lisa and Steve were happy to answer questions about the birds. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Shropshire Falconry to meet Lisa and Steve and their wonderful birds, whether you are interested in birds of prey or photography. Their knowledge and expertise are second to none, and they provide a truly unforgettable experience. The opportunity to capture amazing photos of these incredible creatures is just the icing on the cake.

Had a Hawk Walk experience with Steve the Falconer and Carl the Harris Hawk. Fantastic. The natural setting was great, Steve really knew his stuff and of course Carl did a great job. I would recommend this experience. I'm keen to do it all again.

Lisa recently did a meet and greet at our wedding and we haven't got one bad thing to say! The guests loved the selection of birds which were brought and Lisa's friendliness and professionalism helped to make our day very special 😊 Thank you again!

A wonderful Owl experience for my parents. Lisa was SO attentive, full of knowledge and made sure the experience was perfect. Each owl was beautiful in their own individual way and has made my parents day!! Would definitely recommend xx

Our group visited Shropshire Falconry as part of stag/hen celebrations, and it was a hoot (pardon the pun)! We did a meet and greet with the owls, each of which clearly had a their own personalities, as were brilliant to engage with. The whole process felt well timed and very interesting. We even had the last owl fly to the bride and groom with little our gift. Lisa and Steven were as fabulous as the birds, keeping us entertained, cracking jokes and providing us with interesting insights about the owls.

We did an Owl experience in an indoor facility . I think there was a group of about 12 which was just about the right size . The owners were very knowledgeable and were able to educate in a humourous way . I think they flew about 5 different types of owl and everybody was able to have them land on their gauntlets at least twice . The centre was lovely and clean and well kept and the owners love for the birds shone through . They had some 60 odd birds and had various experiences involving eagles available. You cannot just turn up and visit , you need to book the experiences in advance . Thoroughly enjoyed it .

I absolutely love the owl experience, and will visit again, the owners were so lovely and definitely contributed to make the whole experience unique and very enjoyable. Would highly recommend to anyone.
