Homeless shelter

👍 I just wanted to say that the staff at st Paul's hostel have currently offered and given support to my partner Booie... again I just like to say that if it wasn't for st Paul's hostel and what they offered clearly he wouldn't be in the position he's in now. Life is moving forward for both of us in t... People often mention staff, Paul', life,

Can have its issues, as any such place that helps with homelessness, and issues related, but more positive notes, a great help in moving forward, I will be forever grateful.

Why are they just getting the staff to leave 5/5 reviews? That defeats the point of getting a legit review rating. Don’t get me wrong, some staff members (past and current) are good at their jobs and care for the clients, but the management team have no idea and cannot see their own flaws. Didn’t five or six people leave when this management team forced their way in? This place does have the potential to achieve so much greatness though.

This is an absolutely fantastic place, all of the staff are so caring and thoughtful, all investing a lot of time in their residents. Superb.

It pulled me out of the gutter and set me on the road to be myself but a better version. St Paul's is a lifeline it's the lifeboat that genuinely saves your life. All I have is the highest praise for the staff and a couple of ones that stand out from the rest . Mr B.

I infiltrated the grounds of St. Paul's Hostel at around 2 in the morning about 18 months ago. Lots of people I knew were inside and I was very cold. I knocked on the door for about 20 minutes and a nice young lady eventually answered and I asked if I could come in. She said "No" but I could have a sleeping bag. I didn't take one. I politely said "Thank you" and walked down Tallow Hill. I was slightly annoyed and threw the blue Lacoste cap I was wearing into the air, never to be seen again 😒 I eventually replaced the Lacoste cap ☺ 🐊✌🏻❤

Thank you love Niki Cleland

I arrived in February of 1994, I was an 18 year old scared of my past and my future. I was suffering from homeless flu and very unwell, they helped me get better and fed me. For myself I finally had a family after 6 months I met someone and moved out. I am now 49 and have raised 3 beautiful children and married a beautiful woman for the last 24 years. Without this place and without the people, I would never have achieved all I had. So this place is amazing and I will always be grateful to it for all you have done.

I've lived with saint Paul's for a few years now. Gained a job in the hostels kitchen. Helping to keep the hostel clean met many new people and become friends with them. I'm very greatful for the staff and management for what they do for us. Doing what they can for us. All staff are amazing at what they do. THANK-YOU
