A lovely micropub in a shop unit, with a surprising amount of seating space and plenty of excellent beers available. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is also very sociable.

Great micro bar just over the Itchen Bridge in Woolston. Easy to get to by train / bus or even a Voi scooter straight over the bridge as there's a drop off point in the car park opposite. Been many times since opening fully this year with both groups of friends and solo and always found it an extremely welcoming and warm environment - great beers, food and atmosphere. The new menu with freshly cooked homemade pizzas and bao buns (which are worth a visit for alone) is perfect for anyone looking for a snack or someting a little more substantial, and both Maz and Rob are extremely knowledgeable about their beverages and can always recommend a good pint for a 'beer tourist' like myself - who rarely knows what they actually want! Great stock of takeaway cans handpicked from the best breweries around, as well as being dog friendly which is always a plus - 10/10 would recommend.

Nice little craft pub, one of the firsts in Southampton. The beers are amazing and they also serve pretty good food, with quality ingredients. Plus, the girl who served us was helpful and friendly.

Great, cozy place to try a variety of beer and good food to keep you staying longer. Really appreciate the kindness of the team and looking forward to many more trips to Olaf's with our furry friend.

Splendid place a great atmosphere friendly staff and punters ,highly recommend the mulled cider .Double bonus the deli on the corner for familiar and European treats on the way home.

My husband and I have been visiting Olaf’s since it reopened with Rob and Maz at the wheel and we have never been disappointed!! The food is always amazing and the beer selection is ever changing and so varied there is something for everyone. Their cider selection offers a wide range of flavours too! All of which have been fab. They are very doggy friendly as well so that’s a bonus! Everyone will always receive a warm welcome and we have never felt out of place. We can’t thank the Olaf’s team enough for this little gem in Woolston.

Great beer, relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices, my only complaint is that it's too popular and there are occasionally times where finding a seat can be difficult

The beer is great! lots of options. The pizza was delicious and reasonably priced. The woman woman working was very friendly and we had a great time!

The best selection of cask ales in Southampton, with some nice kegged beers. Can't go without praising the wine on offer, though, as they've got a number of particularly tasty natural wines. Cozy atmosphere and fantastic service, too.

Loved this place with a great selection of beer. Something for Woolston to be proud of. We met people there and had a nice conversation. It had an extremely comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We are really looking forward to visiting this place again.

Dropped in today after a long walk along the water & through the country park. Beer excellent, cask and keg selection varied, interesting and in great condition. Really warm welcome for us and the doggo from Rob the co owner and the other patrons. After all the gravy bones and attention not sure if it's us or the dog who wants to go back more 😂 Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and worth a detour if you're not 🍻 We will be back, Mat, Lou & Indie 🐾

Always got a great selection of beer but can be a bit crowded and although it's great dogs are welcome I don't often take him because I worry about him being trodden on. But it is really good and worth visiting for the beer.

We are regulars to the local craft beer ‘scene’ but for some reason we have just never managed to get to Olaf’s - even if we’d heard amazing things. Well we can see why - sometimes a place just had that X factor - and Olaf’s does. The food was tasty, the staff friendly and the general atmosphere second to none - we will be regulars from now on!

Pizzas are great here, some of the best in Southampton (top quality pizza dough) and always a special on. Dog-friendly and decent selection of beers!
