I would like to say what a wonderful service at the BMI Three Shires Hospital in Northampton. I visited this Hospital on the 14th January 2022 to see Mr Hicks and his team off ( Charlotte, Nina and Elise), they all made me fell welcome when I arrived in the operating theatre and also made me comfortable before the small operation and they also kept me chatting during, to keep my mind of what was going on, so very friendly in all they did. I would recommend the hospital for any services you may need, as all staff very friendly and good over all in every area.

I have just returned home from a procedure in the day clinic and would like to thank Dr Woo and her team, Nina, Sam, Badu and Charline for the excellent care they gave me. I was very nervous as the procedure was very near my eye but Dr Woo and her team explained and reassured me all the way. Nina held my hand, thank you Nina, I hope your hand is ok? The hospital is a very calm and caring environment with very helpful and caring staff! Thank you Dr Woo and your team!!

I have attended this hospital three times so far. Every time has been fantastic and support from all over the different departments. Mr Brady and his secretary Cheryl have been superstars and Cheryl has been very patient with my emails, ensuring I receive what I need. The imaging team are amazing, Libby stands out for me as we met at both my ultrasound and my MRI today and she really puts you at ease. A lovely young woman. All concerns i ever have go away as soon as I speak to someone there, it’s nice to feel listened to and that you are not an inconvenience. Even the receptionists are amazing. Thank you everyone!

Fantastic experience from start to surgery (waiting to be collected as just been discharged as I write this hence no comment on post-op follow up). The pace and efficiency of every team is second to none. Miss Muthasamy has been fantastic and did not put my pain down to ‘one of those things’. After 10 years I am grateful that she investigated and actually found a problem that needed surgical repair. Huge amounts of gratitude goes to the wider teams. Stephanie, my nurse, who looked after me, did so with impeccable care, a dash of humour, and some serious strength to help me get across the room for the first time. Every person from the anaesthetic team, porters, physio and beyond have been wonderful. Also, although I did not get her name, thank you to the angel who delivered that first cup of tea after being nil by mouth for so long and not getting my usual cup before going in for surgery. It was a tiny bit of heaven. Thank you to everyone at Three Shires. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Very impressed. No messing around but friendly service. My consultant Mr Nandhar was clear and concise about my operation and happy to answer questions, the anaesthetist was also very professional and comforting. The nursing staff were all great in particular Pam, nothing was too much, they were proactive and helpful. Let’s face it nobody wants to be in hospital but in my opinion they couldn’t have done much more to make it go smoother, having had other operations with the nhs (i do understand the pressures they’re under) the two experiences are greatly different. Clean and quiet private room to boot. Would highly recommend.

I have been referred as an NHS patient and on my two visits to the hospital I have been received with utmost courtesy and professionalism, from the reception staff to the nurses and the the consultant. I felt very much at ease thanks to the kindness of all the staff I came into contact with and I'm feeling reassured and confident about having my forthcoming surgery.

The staff are so friendly, kind, and helpful. The hospital is clean and organized. I felt rest assured that everything is going to be alright. The doctor that treated me was brilliant and a true expert; the treatment was amazing that I started to feel better after the1st appointment and my pain was alleviated quickly. I was so grateful and relieved!

I visited the Three Shires Hospital today 02/08/22 to have a skin lesion removed from my forehead by Dr Alvin Lee, Consultant Dermatologist. The staff present (Gemma B, Lailany B, Dawn W, Harry W and Elise) treated me like royalty, they were all reassuring, kind and competent. As a consultant physician myself, I really was most impressed by them all and I hope that the staff that work with me are equally as kind to their patients. The surgery (under a local anaesthetic) by Dr Lee was completely painless too. The hospital management should be very proud of these staff

My initial appointment for my procedure was cancelled on the day in error so was back in the following day. Given that I am a nervous patient when it comes to injections this did not help my nerves so my review is based on the team who were there on the day for the op. Gemma, Nicola & Francis and Dr Jalpota. They were all amazing in helping calm my nerves...and I was extremely nervous! They did everything they could to put me at ease and calm me throughout. I felt sorry for them having to deal with me to thank you all very much you were fantastic! X

An absolute nightmare. The first time I had an ultrasound, they were very quick to send the invoice, however, the report for it was late (they told me I’d get it within 48 hours, I had to wait for a week), and I had to call them to get it. The second time I went to see a doctor, she was very late (20min) and I was her first patient that day, and kept telling me to go to NHS when I told her I wanted to have any follow up appointments and blood tests at the private hospital. Again they were very quick to send the invoice, and it was a real nightmare to get the results. The hospital refused to send them to me and told me I’d have to contact the doctor. She was out of the country and I had to wait until she was back to get the results. Bad customer service at the hospital, the doctors assistant was very helpful and nice though. I still had to wait 3 weeks to get the results. Next, i had some blood tests there, and I had booked an appointment for that. They were badly late again (25min), and I had to talk to the receptionist before I finally got the blood tests done, I think they just forgot about me. I’ve had several private doctors in several different countries, and I’ve never experienced anything like this. The only good thing about this hospital is that they do have private doctors, but other than that it’s a struggle with everything. Not going back to this hospital again.

I attended Three Shires Hospital recently for an operation. The consultant Mr Hassan was absolutely amazing. He explained the operation step by step so I knew exactly what was happening. He was kind, caring and professional. The other staff were also amazing Nina, Barbara, Samuel, Micah (I think) - they were supportive, caring and compassionate - thank you all so very much

Stuart did a fantastic job of looking after me and reducing my anxiety when I had to go in and have a change of dressing. He gave me confidence in his ability, and talked me through every step. He needed to speak to my surgeon regarding the best course of action. He communicated with me at every stage and actively listened to my concerns. Stuart has a great bedside manner and is fully competent within his role. Based on my experience with Stuart I would hesitate to recommend the aftercare at the hospital.

All the team at the oncology department are amazing. If it wasn’t for them I don’t think I would have got through my treatment plan. Their professionalism and dedication shines through. They always have advice and help you to get through the challenges of chemotherapy treatment

Had an extended blood test panel with Emily - could not of had a nicer nurse - super friendly and helpful. She made my experience at the three shires pleasant and comfortable. I’m extremely hard to get blood out of due to multiple sepsis episodes which have damaged my veins and she got them with ease.

The staff at the hospital were so kind and caring. I would like to thank Dr Aldrich, Val, Prince, Matthew and Charlotte that all helped me and kept me calm. Val really looked after me while I was in hospital and made me feel at ease. I was nervous about the op, but everyone was so lovely, that feeling soon went away.

Couldn’t fault my experience, all the doctors and nurses were so amazing, thank you so much! My laparoscopy with Mr Brady went really well from start to finish. Would 100% recommend him. Also, a big thank you to Edwena who looked after me after my surgery. She was so kind and caring. The best hospital experience I’ve had by far. I travelled an hour and half for the Three shires and it was well worth the drive.

MRI with Contrast, it was the longest scan I've ever had, but the ladies made it so easy and comfortable. Kristel was the scanner and Mimi was the assistant, however Mimi had never put in a Canula before, so I said it was OK (Kristel did explain and ask me beforehand) as everyone has to learn, I promise, I hardly felt a thing. Very professional. I hope I never need more scans, but if I do, I hope its with either of these two. Thank you Three Shires, for your consistent, excellent care.

The nursing staff are absolute angels I cannot thank them enough. Edwena, Emily and a good few more made an awkward uncomfortable few days bare able with laughs and support along the way. For this thank you. Nothing was too much and all staff were so accommodating even the cleaning staff when they came in did this with minimal fuss and disruption and without judgment of my current situation. The catering team were also very attentive and supportive even when pre ordered food couldn’t be eaten due to side effects they tried their utmost to make sure I was taken care of.

Sarah b was a lovely physiotherapist. She is kind patient understanding and very polite. If I could give her more than five stars I would, she really takes her time to listen to what you have to say and nothing seems too much for her.

I have only praise for the team today in the Radiology department. They were fantastic and so attentive of my concerns and fears, they kept me informed about the procedure informing me in advance of what to expect. The swift process from booking to having the MRI made things all the better thank you team, you were great. 👏🌟

I can't think of anything at all that could have been better. The staff were welcoming, and caring they listened and thought about the little things that would make me more comfortable during my stay. From making sure the food I had was suitable for my diet, to using a blanket to keep me warm and maintain my dignity when using a commode, they were brilliant. Particular thanks to Nurse Janet who spent so much time during my stay helping me in and out of bed, taking great care to keep me comfortable, nothing seemed too much trouble for anyone. Huge thanks.

Really nice staff and very welcoming. Felt at ease and relaxed. Both Dr's I've seen here have also been very nice, understanding and explanatory. Edit after operation: Felt very humbled with the care and support I received from everyone there. Pam made me feel at ease and relaxed and was extremely nice and helpful. The care I received before and after operation was unprecedented. I was treated with respect and dignity and have zero complaints, just praise for all those there that made my stay possible and very pleasant. The room was extremely clean and well prepared. Food was nutritious and the girl who bought me my dinner was lovely. Very happy and smiling all the time. Looking forward to going back for physio with Emma. She was lovely too.

I visited as a daycare patient for a minor surgery. The whole experience was a delight from beginning to end.Surgeon,Nursing staff and reception were professional, personable and efficient. I wonder why our NHS cannot or does not adopt a similar approach.

I would like to say a big ‘Thank You’ to this wonderful hospital. I have just had a total hip replacement carried out by Consultant Pierre Nasr, the whole team from Consultant, Anaesthetists, Nurses, Physios and all the other staff were wonderful and so caring and professional. I did not come across one negative person during my stay, you can certainly tell the staff all love working in this lovely caring, professional environment.

I had excellent care right from the initial consultation, to the pre-opp assessment right through to the operation for a decompression and fusion on my lower spine. I was in just for one night and have all the other follow up appointments set in place. Thanks to all the staff of the Three Shires Hospital for their kindness and excellent care, and to Mr Rasul and his team for the operation. After two more visits, the care continues to be excellent with the dressing and the clips removed from the incision and today a visit to Physio, where Sarah was most helpful & thorough regarding my recovery & my expectations. All visits have been on time and nothing rushed. Thank you.

The team were fabulous. Mr Gidden explained in detail what he proposed to do. The team in the operating theatre, Nina Bassett, Claudia Colombo and Abigail Medina were all kind, courteous and professional. I have a health condition to means I find it difficult to lie down on hard surfaces. The team gave me plenty of time to position myself comfortably before they started the procedure.

Physio team supported me following a full knee replacement. Through hard work from all, they helped me achieve 100% of my goals by being tough, caring, human and friendly. Highly recommended if needed. A big thank you to my physio and all the team around them. Receptionist were also very friendly and welcoming.

After a full hip replacement I had several follow up appointments with the the physiotherapists, Juli and Sarah. They were both superb. As well as being knowledgeable, they were down to earth and had a lovely warm manner as well as a great sense of humour. My recovery has been remarkable and much of this is down to their encouragement, tailored exercises and clear explanations. The physios who trained me in the use of crutches were also superb. I cant thank them all enough.

I wanted to express, Dr Woo and her team are excellent! Claudie, Monike, Bertha and Elisa assisted and made the whole procedure a breeze. This is the second procedure Dr Woo has performed on me and the reason I returned following my fist one and the care I received. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough - Dr Woo is a superb practitioner and a genuinely nice person.

What can I say!! Came in yesterday for my surgery. Everyone has been totally amazing!! Special thank you to Janet, Steph, Pete and Lorraine who have been looking after me on the ward. Also to Joseph in recovery and of course to the surgical team working with Mr Guy Finch. I mustn’t forget the kitchen staff who have kept me fed and watered. You are all fantastic people and are a credit to Three Shires. Thank you x

All staff on the wards were very attentive, anticipative and caring in all interactions and nothing was too trouble for them at all even though the ward was busy with many pre and post operative patients. The hostesses were particularly intuitive as they removed my sandwiches at lunch on a warm day as I fell asleep and kept checking for me to awaken and as I'd only requested 1 napkin rather than 1 each meal, this meant paper waste could be reduced ( even a little bit!)

The care I received was top quality from start to finish. I was well informed of every step of the treatment I was undergoing. The staff were very kind, and spoke always with a smile. All necessary information was given to me for immediate care and for the healing process soon after surgery. Thank you to all the staff of 3 Shires Hospital..

My recent back surgery at the Three Shires was outstanding. My surgeon Mr Rasul is a wonderful Gentleman, I would recommend him to anyone. The catering staff were so thoughtful, the nursing staff very friendly and the pharmacy prepared the prescription in less than five minutes. All in all a very impressive stay.
