One of the best hospitals that I have visited in Bristol, even though it is small in area compared to other main hospitals. It is extremely clean, organised, quiet and has the best staff. Its only down point that it does not have an emergency department. The building is old but well cared for with good number of parking areas for disabled people and there are a paid meter for others as well. The only new construction seems to be the MRI scanning suite near the exit area which seems to be a prefab unit. The name of the radiologist that I have met was Hana. She was very professional, polite and extremely helpful.

Wish I could give it 5 star. The medical staff who dealt with my mother were excellent, so kind, caring and understanding. They were wonderful. Unfortunately the lack of a main reception desk and good signage meant we were unsure where to go. My mum who has v. poor and painful mobility had to walk with me to a booking in desk at the opposite end of the hospital and then all the way back again to the other end before the appointment at the Parkinson's clinic. I could not leave her while I checked it out due to her high anxiety levels if left on her own. We were not the only ones who didn't know where to go. Please consider moving the booking in desk to main reception and improve signage. Such a contrast to Southmead with so many volunteers ready to help.

Beware of the security guard who likes to check the breast feeding room when mums are using it! I asked him what he was doing and he argued it is part of his "patrol"? it's a small hospital not a high security prison! He stood there and watched my wife and baby go into the breast feeding room, I step out for a minute to get my wife a drink and he walks straight past me and into the breast feeding room. There was absolutely no excuse for him to go into that room, he knew what the room was for and it was occupied. To make matters worse when I asked him what he was doing he got all defensive and blamed it on my wife for not closing the door fully?! He was very defensive and aggressive, no apology.

Been there for xrays in the past but most recently thr audiology dept. Wonderful team, can't thank them enough for my 'new ears'.

I regularly have appointments at Cossham hospital and have also had several x-rays there. All the staff I have met have been polite and efficient. It is always very clean and tidy. This is what a hospital 🏥 should be like unlike the larger ones which are usually so overworked and the staff stressed. Bring back smaller more local hospitals for all but the most severe and sick 🤒 patients.

I went to cosham hospital some time ago for phisio and foot implants broke my heels. . nicest hospital in Bristol if only there were more community hospitals

I have regular appointments with the Lymphoedema clinic - great nurses, pleasant and make you feel comfortable. X-Rays both myself and husband. Very little waiting time, and that department quick and efficient. I’ve found the staff/medical staff very pleasant. Recommend choosing here if you’re given the choice.

Had an xray here today, the 2nd in as many years and oh what a joy! Excellent service by the staff who are so friendly and professional. Feels very homely and gives a more personal touch. Hopefully I wont have to boost very often, but if so, will be my hospital of choice. Thanks everyone!

The 105-year-old hospital has had a complete refurbishment and offers modern and fully accessible facilities from which the NHS will deliver a wider range of services, closer to people's homes. Very nice facilities and nice and beautiful. Clean and tidy rooms .

Just had a CT scan there, and everyone is lovely. Thank you ladies in the ct scanner for your help in making me feel relaxed and comfortable. Also thanks for all the information you gave me. Hospital is spotlessly clean. Xx

I've recently had an ultra sound scan there arranged by my GP. The appointment was exactly on time. The nurse and the radiologist were very polite, understanding and supportive. I was very impressed with the entire process. I only waited 7 weeks for the appointment. Thank you.

Had to wait for two hours but for a late night /early morning - out of hours appointment it was good. The doctor was good .

I went to Cossham Hospital tonight (08-10-17 due to a infection in my ingrowing toe the doctor was lovely very helpful they gave me a 7 day course of antibiotics and also let me have them from the hospital direct

Very clean and tidy but unfortunately there was no at the desk when you come in and the first lift wasn't working

Been given an appointment at a certain time... I've spent hours in a room with other 10 ill people and haven't seen anyone yet. Seriously need to sort out the out of hours gp service! This is absolutely not efficient and there's such a high risk to get other germs/viruses. Give people a time and stick to it !!!!!

I have had numerous MRI scans at Cossham and have always found the staff to be friendly and caring . I wish there was more community hospitals .... Car parking can be a problem .

Staff and medical staff were lovely and helpful. Departments were easy to find and I didn't have to wait long for my outpatients appointment. There is a small volunteer run cafe which is very pleasant. Parking just outside the grounds is for staff only I was able to park in the patient car park. The machine excepts cards which is helpful and there is free parking for 20 minutes. I paid for 2 hours which was £3.50.

Excellent service, polite nurses, and no need to wait hours and hours as I would have at other hospitals.

In the X - ray bit it was not organized and they could not even find the right stuff but everything else seemed better organized also the service was quick

I feel relief when my appointment is at Cossham. Best hospital in Bristol in my opinion! Including out of North Bristol Trust, BRI and Eye Hospital. All appointments have been handled professionally, carried out in a timely and friendly manner. Easy parking too.
