Found by accident and certainy not disappointed, quite a really 80s looking interior. Good selection, friendly service, nice portion sizes, well priced Will definitely return 😋😋😋

Pretty authentic Thai cuisine. Living in Thailand, I never expect too much when going to a Thai restaurant in the UK, and hardly ever do so. The River Kwai Restaurant in Alton was a pleasant surprise when I took my nephew there for a meal. The Thai meal I enjoyed was very well cooked by the Thai staff there. As expected, it was not as spicy as I'm used to, but additional 'prik nam pla' made it just right. Plenty of seating inside (quite close together), good, friendly service and reasonably priced, I would certainly return here for another meal.

Really lovely food and excellent staff, I’ll definitely come back again! Dishes were well presented and had outstanding flavour. The restaurant itself is also great looking and has a comfortable atmosphere

Amazing takeaway, super tasty and really reasonably priced! Had a small wait on collection due to a very busy night in the restaurant but they offered a few drinks which more than made up for it!

My partner and I absolutely adore river Kwai! We only found it last year after a friend recommended and we can’t get enough now! The team are super friendly and the food is incredible and flavoursome!

Had a beer and a takeaway from here and I asked the owner to cook whatever he recommended. It was excellent! The two owners are really nice and friendly and the place itself is beautiful. I will return next time I'm in the area!

River Kwai is consistently good. The salad kaek is especially tasty, with very fresh salad and lovely peanut sauce. Staff are really helpful and friendly.
