Went on a Sunday when they do a trust menu. You pay £25 for a 5 course tasting menu and just get what they bring you. I really enjoyed it! The family all got a mix of veg, meat and fish courses. I'm vegan some of the dishes were a little repetitive but so tasty I didn't mind at all. The staff were also lovely and very accommodating. 10/10 would recommend

Outstanding experience at 111 by Modou, experiencing the 6-course trust menu for dinner on Thursday. Each dish demonstrated the creative genius of the chef while honouring local produce and classical flavour pallettes. We particularly enjoyed the homemade sourdough with truffle butter, the mackerel ceviche, the lobster ravioli, and the sea bass. Service was impeccable and attentive. Incredible value with the summer deal (6 courses for two with two aperitif cocktails for £55). With its ever-changing menu, this is a restaurant that we will keep returning to, and would strongly recommend booking!

I took my partner here for his birthday and it was a superb experience. It’s cosy and casual, and the service was excellent. The courses were a wonderful surprise, each had interesting combinations. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We have previously tried and loved Beat 6 and 6 by Nico so were really looking forward to the similar vibe that 111 by Modou offers, and we were not disappointed! Not that it's a competition as they have all been great but the food on offer here tops the lot in my opinion. Every dish of the 5 course taster was delicious, with the ham hough terrine the highlight for me. If you're open to new flavour combinations and some ingredients you might not have tried, or even heard of, then this is the place for you. My partner had the vegetarian menu and really enjoyed each course as well. I was even slightly jealous of her Conte pasta dish! As close to a five star review as you can get but there were some service issues unfortunately. The waiters seemed a little stressed as the night went on. We were brought the wrong desserts which wasn't an issue but the waitress just took them away without any communication and it took another half an hour to bring the replacements. We wanted a coffee after dessert but were told we had ran out of time on the table as a result of the issues outlined. Not a huge deal, I'd be happy to return at somepoint and hope for a five star!

Easily one of the best restaurants in Glasgow. Modou wouldnt be out of his depth in the starred London food scene. Every single dish was delicious, the flavour pairings together are just brilliant. I love the concept of a bit of mystery surrounding each option on the menu, it’s quite fun to get a little surprise. The plates served are just beautiful, but they didn’t last long! Think pretty much inhaled every course. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to book again.

Lovely food but it would be nice if there was an online preview of veggie menus as well. We went for the 10 course menu. Almost all dishes were tasty, some more than others just one seemed to be improvised on a spot and not so good. Our favourite were the mushroom pate and the kiwi sorbet.

By far the best restaurant experience I have ever had. Took my in-laws for my mother in law's birthday and the staff really made a fuss of her. Every dish was incredible and we loved trying to guess the key ingredients. Just a truly fantastic experience and incredibly good value.

Been a few times and every time the menu is a delight, no matter what they bring you it tastes incredible. Highly recommended the 10 course menu. Great value and something different from the norm. 👍

Had a fantastic meal here on Saturday. Food is absolutely outstanding, all staff very friendly and attentive. Our server, Steve (?) was fab also. We each had the matching wine which I would absolutely recommend for the price. Would definitely visit again.

Fantastic! I went for the “Total Trust” menu and haven’t had such an exciting dinner experience in a while. I recommend doing that at least once. The food and the service was excellent.

Great experience, it's like different level of experiencing a meal. We went for blind menu. We focused more on what we can taste and tried to guess it. We made a wee competeetion between us. What a great fun. Service excellent. For My personal taste it was a bit loud but I guess it's to do with the size of restaurant. I would definitely go back there.

Finlay, who attended us is so friendly, knowledgeable. He has provided exceptional service. The foods have always been fabulous. I always love Modou's creative menu. The attention to details and used of ingredients always surprise me. I have always know I will enjoy the food, the hospitality yesterday was first class.

Visited with my boyfriend and I for my birthday. Mona was our server and she could not of done anymore to make the occasion more special. We got a complimentary glass of fizz each to celebrate my birthday and when it came to the food and wine she was very knowledgable. We got the wine pairing which I think is great for the money and completes the experience in my opinion. Would love to come back on the Sunday or Monday for the total trust menu.

Haven’t been to any fancy restaurant for quite a while as I’m getting bored of them but this place is definitely one of a kind! The price is quite affordable, but it doesn’t affect their service at all! Cutlery were changed between each dish, no one came to bother me while I was eating, so I didn’t have to talk with my mouth full. They quietly checked if I had finished my meals, and came to take the plate away. Foods are amazing as well, I didn’t expect it can be this good as the farmers market menu is £42 for 6 dishes, and I can’t really name any other restaurants that have a lower price with higher standards. I wouldn’t call it perfect as Black Pudding is not really my thing, but this is my own fault. All in all a very nice place to go

Stunning food. We had the 10 course tasting menu on Monday, it was a tremendous experience with wonderful flavours and colourful dishes. It was a busy night in the restaurant, the atmosphere was great and it made a Monday night a lot more special! Service was excellent.

Fine Dining and very affordable. Sunday evening it’s £25 for 5 course tasting menu. We had a very comfortable and leisurely dinner. Each course was delicious. Complimenting wines are available for each course (additional charge) A lovely way to spend a Sunday evening.
