Easy to see by my name that I LOVE Dean’s Of Huntly!!! I always bring items back from them to Canada for family and friends! I was there today again and enjoyed the store and service! However, I wish they sold some items like t-shirts, beanies, hats, coasters, pens, and keychains that had their logo on them! They would fly off the shelf, I would bet on it. I understand it might be too touristy for them, however nothing wrong with promoting yourself in my mind. I hope when I’m back next year I can get some stuff to proudly wear around the world :)

Fantastic value for money and a great coffee. Lovely staff and a friendly atmosphere. We had poached egg on toast and I don't say this often but they could definitely afford to lose one of the eggs as its still extremely good value. We saw the pancakes going out and they looked amazing. £13 for poached egg on toast x2 a portion of haggis and sausage on one. Tea and a coffee. Great value for money.

Lovely place to visit and see the production of shortbread. The gift shop is extensive and there are a lot of shortbread to purchase here. There’s a cafe inside and clean toilets. You can purchase factory bulk shortbread by the bulk or by the box too and it’s cheaper than those sold prepackaged in shops.

Found sharp plastic in my takeaway that was sent from the bistro, lucky it was me eating it and not a small child. Not acceptable whatsoever. Staff in the bistro should be more aware. The staff I the coffee shop seem more capable even though they are short staffed and over worked. I wouldn't like to imagine if it was a small child that ended up swallowing that I assume it would have been a trip to the hospital.

Went here today for afternoon tea and it was lovely. Sandra, who managed the booking and our food was just brilliant. The food was lovely too. We also got two separate plates each so that when we finished the savoury, we didn't have bits of it on our sweet. We also got a doggie bag (is this still PC ☺️) as we just couldn't finish what we had. First time visit but "I'll be back" ☺️

Delighted to find Dean's restaurant open again. The staff were lovely and the restaurant tables nicely spaced out for social distancing. The menus were laminated and collected in after order to sanitise. The food was plentiful and tasty. The coffee is great. I will be going back with my disabled family members as it is well set up for wheelchairs, having both space and a lift.

Enjoyed lunch out with the girls, food was delish as usual. Although it was fairly busy, there was plenty of seating upstairs. There is a lift for those less mobile. Short wait for food, which was brought up to us, the portions are fairly big, so we were all stuffed. The staff are friendly and efficient and the place is lovely, clean and bright. The toilets are well kept, and the soap smells wonderful! After our lunch we popped into the gift shop, there's some really nice gifts which aren't over priced, scarves, necklaces, bags and homeware. There's a good selection of shortbread, for a gift or some bargain priced seconds. Definitely worth a visit.

We were told Dean's was the best shortbread cookies in Scotland and I have to agree they are really crunbly and tasty. Picked up some treats for taking back to the US - then stopped for a coffee across the street at the Dean's coffee shop. A nice place to visit and spend a little time.

We visited the store. Delicious shortbread gifts for family, friends and co-workers. Most prices were appreciatively low with a wide variety of offerings. They do have a small amount of Gluten-free options.

It's ok, we both had soup and a coffee. Coffee was bordering on cold and served 10min before our soup so was stone cold by the time we had our soup. Soup was tasty enough and staff were polite and friendly.

Disappointed. Paid £10 for a sweet chilli chicken sandwich and the salad was poor without any dressing and the lettuce looked as if it needed life support. For the cost u expected more.

Grabbed a chicken sandwich and hot dog from here. Chicken sandwich was dryer than the Sahara desert, the staff did make me another and dumped half a tub of mayo inside it so it went from dry to swimming. The hot dog cost £4, for a hot dog roll and a hot dog, nothing else... £4 for a hot dog is ridiculous you'd expect at least ketchup and mustard. We sat at the little outdoor area, maybe the bistro was better but it's very pricey and terrible quality food.

Very disappointed. I Expected jacket potato with BBQ pulled pork and melted cheddar: I got baked potato with cold pork cubes and unmelted cheddar. The potato was well baked. I also felt it was overpriced.

Excellent and reasonably priced food. Good selection of goods in the gift shop, came away with a cap, scarf and of course, shortbread
