This church dates back to the 1800's, built in granite with features in a beige coloured sandstone. The interior features are contructed of dark varnished pine wood, pews and confessionals made from this wood, the organ gallery is impressive as are the acoustics when played.

Beautiful church. The daily 11am Mass is very handy if you don't work. It would be great for workers if Mass was at say, 1305 hours. Worth a try? It works at the Augustinian Church in Drogheda.

This is one of the most ornate chapels in Newry, especially on the inside. The spire dominates the west side of the Clanrye, and it’s certainly worth a visit. Just get rid of that blue roof.

Beautiful Chapel built by the Dominicans in honour of St. Catherine, in Newry city centre area. Well worth a visit to see the inside, beatiful altars, stained glass windows & icons. You dont need to be religious to appreciate the architecture or beauty of this church. Within walking distance from shops & bus station.
