Peel Hall park

Tourist attraction Park Housing development

👍 The park is just coming back to life after a mild winter. Early budding trees and shrubs are beginning to regain the flexibility of the twigs. After a lot of recent rain, the ground is sodden and muddy. Now it just needs tidying up for spring proper. People often mention walk,

We walk through here every other couple of days and its always a perfect tranquil place to go.. such a shame developers want to destroy this amazing place that offers an abundant place for nature to thrive.

Not often kept on top of by WBC but a lovely area for a quiet walk and nice that they have kept the original stone features. Great place to go blackberry and elderberry picking with young children.... Just remember to put your wellies on as the area around it can get very muddy

Lovely place to walk around Shame the motorbikes are spoiling the place, and litter from the night parties,

I have been taking walks around peel hall. For 37 years it's a Lovely place in the rear woods called blue bell woods is like it's name full of blue bells in the summer it's a nice quiet place to take your dog plenty of open fields for them to run. There is allso a children's play area and small hills they can run up and down. There are developers trying to build on the land. It would be ashame if this happened. We don't have much open woods or large fields left to walk around. It's a wonderful place to take your children and dogs. Save peel Hall.

Have always loved the place. From being a kid in the 70s and 80s playing in the hills and swinging from the rope swing in the woods. Now i take the dog and my family on here for a great few hours. We need to save the place. Some of the paths and fences could do with renewing but its lovely n wild and enjoyable.

A good place for dog walking, it also has a few play parks both for younger and older children. Accessable on foot easily too.

This park is fully neglected. Trees, shrubs, weeds, brambles have been left to take over. The entrance to the car park is like a slalom approach, dodging overgrown sharp bushes - any more scratches and ill be sending a bill to the council for a respray. They took the older kids play area when covid hit and never put them back so the kids have nowhere to play. Its an utter disgrace but what should we expect with a council that doesn't care. I love walking in the park but I'm seriously beginning to think the neglect us deliberate so they can sell the land for yet mire flats, just what we don't need. Council, get a grip.
