Lovely small Moroccan restaurant in St Albans centre. Parking difficult. Nice Moroccan themed traditional decor with white tablecloths and cloth napkins. Good service - friendly and courteous. Nice food. Quite popular so book a table. We had bread and olives followed by tagine served with rice and filo pastry stuffed with spinach for mains. For dessert we had a traditional Moroccan sweet. Worth a visit

It is beautiful in here: the bright orange napkins and the tangerine tablecloths; the light passing through electric dark blue glass on the ceiling. The warmth of light from orange and yellow glass flowered light fittings and the dull bronze of lanterns with lace-like cutout patterns. The shine of plates on the wall that are decorated with intricate patterns or desert scenes. The brightness of the sun coming down from skylights. The warmth and sheen of brown wood and the gentle drape of red tassled curtains with gold detailing. The sweetness of single tulips on each table. The chatter of diners and clink of cutlery against crockery. The heat of the tagine radiating towards your skin as it is placed before you. The delicious smell you can't help but lean over the plate to inhale for a good couple of minutes. The warmth of the smile of the man who brought the food and attended to me. The coolness of the air let in by the door that keeps it feeling fresh. The weight in your belly of good food and the knowledge that it will be a joy to return again, alone or with company. Thank you for a wonderful lunch

Ate here Friday eve whilst on a weekend break in St. Albans. was so good we went back on Saturday eve! Food was so good, lots of choice, wonderful flavours & very reasonably priced for the portion sizes. Staff were attentive (not overly so!) & friendly. Loved the decor. Will definitely return when we are in the area again

Came here for lunch time, the place was very busy. Can’t believe they only had one person front of house, the manager called Yasin. He must have served over 30 people in less than 30 minutes. Service was excellent, food was amazing. Very very impressed. Well done guys ❤️

I dropped into Little Marrakech restaurant in St.Albans High Street for a coffee. The beautiful interior decor instantly took me to the Middle East, and the coffee was excellent, so a win-win all the way for me and a big thumbs up for The Little Marrakech

First time here, brilliant guys, the place is small and chic, full of character; the food is delicious and served impeccably. It can be both for a quick dinner, bussiness dinner or a proper family get-together. Love it!

Small frontage belies size of restaurant but it's decorated appropriately with paintings etc. Food is excellent. Merguez sausage salad pictured starter, chicken tagine main served piping hot so you are not eaten food that's gone cold. Service good and friendly. Nice experience and deserves local support

Little marrakesh never disappoints. The food is excellent. We ordered the scallops, prawns and the soup of the day to start and for main, beef tagine with couscous. Cannot fault.
