Superb in every way. Wonderful hosts perfect room and amazing breakfast! They even provided a lift to the restaurant on the Saturday evening. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

I booked the suite for my 21st birthday with my boyfriend. We had forgot something in the car and went to go out to the car about 11ish and got screamed at by the owner not a very welcoming experience to be honest. The room was lovely but won’t be coming back due to the behaviour from the owner. Also ruined my birthday too and told us “ this isn’t for young people” why book us in then? 😂

This B&B is the perfect getaway. We celebrated an anniversary here and honestly could not have chosen a better place. Fiona and Allan are amazing hosts and from the booking process right up through getting home safely after your visit they are just incredible. The property is gorgeous and beautifully maintained. We stayed in the suite and the attention to detail was undeniable. The room was cozy and warm and the views off the balcony truly made it feel like a magical experience. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and when Fiona realised that we had a taxi booked for getting back to St Andrews she insisted we cancel it and one of the family members drive us instead. Every minute of our trip was lovey and we were welcomed with open arms as an LBGTQ+ couple. Cannot recommend this B&B enough, we will definitely be back to stay again.

Visiting nearby St Andrews, Tarskavaig is ideal for a quiet and peaceful stay. Our hosts, Fiona and Allan, greeted us warmly, were friendly and professional, and ensured our break was as delightful as we had hoped for. We greatly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend Tarskavaig as a wonderfully relaxing getaway.

Truly a tremendous place to stay. The place is spotless. Fiona and Alan are terrific hosts,and can't do enough to make your stay more enjoyable. The wife and I will definitely be back.

Beautifully located B&B run by the most genuinely lovely family I've ever met. The building is so well presented inside & out. I tell everyone not to bother with the over priced hotels in St Andrews and stay here instead. Way better experience.

3 wonderful nights at Tarskavaig and loved it !! Our stay at Tarskavaig B&B was hands down the best night of our 2-week trip in Scotland. Allen and Fiona are two of the nicest and hospitable hosts of anywhere we've stayed in the past. They were super accommodating to our later arrival due to our road trip, and gave us plenty of recommendations not only for the area, but for the remainder of our trip around the country. We booked two rooms — The Suite and The Tartan. Both of them were incredibly comfy and immaculate. The Tartan had a great view of a nearby field as well as some of Fiona's chickens and The Suite had a balcony with a view of the same. The breakfast was unbelievably delicious with local options from around the area as well as eggs from Fiona's chickens which she lovingly named Tina Turner and "all the single ladies". I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time there.

We stayed at Tarskarvaig BnB for 3 nights. Our hosts Fiona and Allan were warm and welcoming and Allan had many good suggestions on places to visit and where to have a good meal. He made dinner reservations for us at a local tavern and it was a top spot for a meal. Fiona cooks a fantastic breakfast for all guests. The attention to detail from the room facilities and breakfast offerings is very impressive. They have their own hens, so eggs are fresh and as close to organic as it can get. Our room was spacious and the beds and pillows were so, so comfy. The entire BnB is well built and well appointed, with tasteful furniture and decorations. Tarskarvaig BnB is close to St Andrews so the location is great. It is nice and quiet. Highly recommend this BnB for anyone who visits St Andrews, Fife or is just passing through the area. It has really set the standard for the rest of our holiday in Scotland. Fiona and Allan, thank you for a wonderful, restful stay.
