Really low key but wonderful Fish restaurant on the main South Kensington part of Brompton Road. Ive walked Brompton road many times but didn’t notice it until i was taken there. Was greeted warmly and the staff were friendly and attentive all evening. They also have a bar downstairs which we didn’t try. Maybe next time! Anyway, we had huge chilled seafood platter, with a whole large crab, ½ lobster, prawns, whelks. Beautifully presented on a two tier platter on ice. Oysters were at the top arranged in a circle with a kind of onion vinaigrette and lemons. All super fresh and high quality. £110 for the platter. It was my first type trying oysters and i was pleasantly surprised, and weren’t chewy and with the onion vinaigrette topping had a fresh taste. I dont really like crab and would’ve preferred a larger portion of lobster but overall this meal was a perfect end to a spring evening.

Recommend: Lovely selection of very fresh oysters. Deep-fried oysters were excellent. The scallops were absolutely delicious. The prawn in the linguine were perfectly cooked. Not recommend: Clams were disappointing - very small portion size and the sauce didn't pair well with clams. Plates took a long time to be cleared between courses. The cooked dishes took a long time to arrive. Surprising for a midweek dinner seating.

Imaginative dishes including the freshest array of seafood. There are some meat dishes for the carnivores amongst us although you would be mad not to indulge in the seafood options - they are plentiful and too good to miss. Great atmosphere and great service. A word of advice .- do not leave without experiencing the opulence of the bar downstairs. A big thumbs up Wright Brothers.

Amazing oyster selection ! ! I had the Jersey, ostra regia and ... I forgot the other one but absolutely fresh. Second place this delicious buttery fish, with potatoes and chorizo, I always avoid chorizo because at least for me it's quite an overpowering flavor, but this dish was really balanced. Go! You won't regret.

Came to this restaurant for a quick meal on a walk in basis. Service was friendly, swift and attentive. Atmosphere reminded me of a French style bistro. Food was good although serving sizes were on the smaller side. We had the Wright Brothers selection of Oysters and Scallops for starters and then the mussels and king prawn linguine for mains. Wouldn't mind coming back in the future.

A small place specialised in seafoods - we were not too impressed, had overall an ok experience mixed with good and underwhelming dishes. Scallops and prawn were pretty nice, whereas mussels and octopus salads were disappointing - neither feel fresh or tasteful. Ok cocktails.

One of the best Seafood Restaurants in London! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Their service is amazing! Always friendly and making sure you have a wonderful time. Their oysters are a must as well as the mussels. The wine selection is also very good. Always a pleasure to come back!

Two hungry teenagers and I sat in a booth and had a dozen super fresh oysters and more importantly wonderful service and advice on oyster selection. The other dishes were tasty and well prepared - octopus and ceviche starters excellent and the cooked dishes were nicely done too. Good skinny fries! The restaurant is small and simple, good for a casual but high quality seafood meal.

Fabulous oysters the Irish ones outstanding and the scallops were simply divine and out of this world, big meaty and perfectly presented. The Brixham special Gurnard fillet with cuttle fish ragu was delicious. The Thornback Ray perfection with sides of spring greens and the most flavoursome baby new potatoes. Followed by sumptuous deserts. The cocktails oh my heavenly. Lyes the perfect host . Ambiance relaxed and welcoming.Thank you for making such a special time.

OmG just wonderful. Who doesn't like champagne and oysters? However, what a range of oysters to choose from! Fabulous service and excellent menu plus daily seafood specials caught literally a few hours ago. Will most definitely be back very soon...it was just too good.

Wonderful and kindest service in Wright Brothers company. Honestly, we had the best food and drinks and the most amazing environment. Thanks to Lyes for everything, such a professional management! Glad to be back in here and having this good vibes. Also grateful to the cocktails bartenders who made an amazing job for us. See you soon! 🙃

Went for their £1 oyster happy hour. The oysters were fresh but sadly very small (you'd need 2-3 oysters to get the same amount as an average oyster ). So not quite sure if it's that good a deal, but service was great and atmosphere cosy.

If you love sea food and fish. This is the place to go. The oysters, shrimps, mussels and sole meuniere were excellent. With a nice white wine from Italy and great desserts and cocktails to finish. The service was great, waiters and manager always making sure we had all we needed. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. Thanks for having us.

I visited this wonderful restaurant and it was epic. Quality and good price. The mussels, THE OYSTERS, the octopus and a good champagne invaded my palate and made me feel one of the best moments of my life. I recommend this restaurant 100%. Coralie's treatment is on another level, great 🤩

We had an 'Oyster Masterclass' here, and it was wonderful. Our host was very keen, extremely knowledgeable and lovely. The South Kensington restaurant has a very different vibe to the Wright Brothers we're used to in Spitalfields. We stayed for dinner after, I can highly recommend as a place for a bite as well as the masterclass, which is both fun and informative!

seafood fresher than a virgins tears! Great selection of seafood, even for the pickiest eater. If you are being adventurous like me, do not get the fresh oysters as your first time, i ran to the bathroom; the rest is history. I recommend trying the smoked oysters herb, as pictured. They were super delicious and you can still be fancy and tell people you eat oysters, (just not raw) Mains: Shrimps- full of flavour but not overwhelming Salmon- great choice if you are a simple eater, beans were fantastic. Dessert: Creme brulee: I am rather partial to a creme brulee, although i always google the spelling. It had a twist of passion fruit which was just a delightful friday party in your mouth. GET THIS! chocolate moose: wasn't flavoursome. Great service, with knowledgable staff.

Went here for a Valentine’s Day treat. Had a 6 oyster selection, the traditional mussels and the special Norwegian cod special with a chorizo and chickpea base. The special was by far my favourite but the oysters and mussels were delicious too! Highly recommend.

We are so very excited to have discovered this gem of a place. We loved every single dish as it was so fresh and delicious, with plenty of choices to pick from. Top that with a great wine list, yummy walnut carrot cake for desert and impeccable service and you got yourself a top shelf night, just like we did. A little on the pricey side but definitely worth it if you’re into great food and charismatic French staff that aim to please. The crowd was mixed, which is always comforting and the restaurant quite busy so do think about booking before you arrive. We will return, no doubt!

A really rather nice fish restaurant. Probably as fresh as you can get. Loved the fish pie. Syllabub was beautiful. Not a fan of oysters but my partner in food enjoyed them and the rather wonderful hake. Definitely recommended

The food was good and the service was great. Oliver and his manager excellently handled a large group who were 40 minutes late to their reservation on Valentine’s Day. Despite the group’s loud and disrespectful behavior, they were professional and incredibly apologetic to the other guests.

Me and my partner came to dine for our 4 year anniversary, yesterday evening, the food was amazing. The team was fantastic. They suggested such amazing dishes, and the wine they paired was just delightful. I would highly recommend coming here, the team took such great care of us. The dove sol is a must, cooked to perfection. And they even offered us a little desert on the house due to our anniversary. Thank you so much can’t express how wonderful my night was. All the best from the Walsh’s xx
