I mean, it’s fine. A little dumpy but what do you want for an affordable London airport hotel. Not that close to the airport though! 5 minutes in a cab or the (paid) hotel shuttle but not at all accessible by public transit!

Very cheap hotel which is very well located to gatwick airport. Also only 5/10min walk to direct bus lines to the airport and flexible check in/check outs. Rooms were basic and not very modern or super clean but was good for what we needed. Also was awoken a few times by door opposite banging and people leaving throughout the night for flights. But for a place to put your head down before early flight it was fine. Also good pub with nice food very close by

I mean...it's a bed. It's close to the airport. Short walk to local pubs and they do a transfer to Gatwick for £13, plus long stay parking. Fully functional and staff are friendly enough, but decor and vibe leave a lot to be desired.

Located a short distance from London Gatwick Airport its perfect for an overnight stay if you have to catch another flight in the morning and for a really low price. The room was clean and cozy. There weren't any towels (I guess they expected you to walk with your own). The shower is really, really small. They need to work on customer service.

I stayed here for 2 nights and after reading some of the reviews I wasn't to sure what to expect. Yes there was some furniture that was stacked up but they were going through a renovation, so it was understandable. The receptionist when we first entered was very entertaining and had great personality. The rooms were small but had everything we needed for our stay. Towels, outlets, a comfortable bed, and a working TV. If I were to recommend this hotel to a friend I would definitely do so.

A simple hotel, very close to gatwick airport (you can walk to it in half an hour). Nice and affordable if you want to spend the night. The local area is nice and quiet, but there is a high street with shops and restaurants nearby

I got this hotel because is located near by the airport. Never come back again. The smell is pretty bad. The shuttle is expensive. The pillows are uncomfortable.

We checked out immediately my colleague had stained pillows and the room was generally grotty. The decor appears to have gone untouched since the 1980s. The restaurant was closed. The one good thing we can say is the car parking facilities were decent. Everything else was not good.

15 minutes walk from the train Very hard to get in touch with the staff since we arrived after midnight. Key/lock at the room very hard to open. Trash bin in the bathroom was still full from previous guests.

The place is nothing more than a 10 dollar a night down trodden back packer hostel in Thailand disguising as a "hotel", a hotel it certainly isn't. This is hands down the worst place I have had the misfortune to stay in. The 1 staff was a 60 year old, grey pony tailed former hippy with hygiene issues who seemed totally out of his depth. The place was dirty, the bedroom worse than a 90s northern polyrechnic dorm with a £20 bed from the local high street. The bathroom was cleaned by someone in a hurry, probably the grey pony tailed chap. Everything was disgusting, the sheets, the pillow cases, the carpet, everything and I had to pay £115 for the privilege because EasyJet had cancelled our flight and we had to take a flight a day earlier so the "hotel" kindly said: sure we'll change your the arrival day... for an additional £40 or you lose your £75 booking. Utterly disgraceful! Plus, the grey pony tailed one informed us that the shuttle to Gatwick doesn't start until 9 am (our flight was at 8:50 am) and that due to the previous night's rail strike there'd be no taxis available. So our only option was the 6 am bus from down the road logging our luggage down a an uneven full of gravel road. Again an utter disgrace as we gave up half way up the road and called a cab that arrived within 3 minutes. The Gatwick White House Hotel is a place that must be avoided at all costs. I felt that if I didn't catch anything from the bed or if I only got a verruca from the bathroom that I'd be lucky. This is a foul and rancid place, full stop.

I used this hotel because I had an early flight today. It was a nice experience, all worked well. Easy to find near Horley train station, receptionist was welcoming and made me a breakfast pack, organized a shuttle for 13 pounds to the airport at 5 30 am, in the morning taxi was waiting for me. Nearby, I had a great dinner at local Indian restaurant, amazing. The restaurant is near and is called, I forgot... but it is near Church road next to a grill place.

A nice 2 star hotel to stay in down a quiet residential street when catching a flight from Gatwick airport, with nicely kept rooms and only a 15 minute walk to Horley town centre,to get there turn left when leaving hotel and then turn right onto Ringley Avenue and then left onto Massets road,I booked directly with the hotel and the room was a basic room but adequate for my needs at a price of 59 pounds for the night which includes breakfast, the hotel can arrange a taxi to the airport for you,Horley town centre is worth a look and I had a few drinks in the Forresters pub there which was a nice pub to go to if you can get a chair! seems quite a popular pub.

I visited this premises. I was told as I arrived in the reception that there was a charge for the carpark. This hotel charge for overnight parking 12.95 per night and have people parking in the carpark. on my booking I had no mention of this in the confirmation email. I handed my phone to the receptionist and he confirmed that it wasnt mentioned. There are no terms and conditions explained in the car park or information in the carpark about parking charges. Breakfast was not available, I told the receptionist i would pay the £5 for breakfast he said it wasn't available. The morning of departure breakfast was layed out but could purchase because of the night before.

The hotel staff was very helpful. We had to extend our stay for my personal commitments, from an initial 2 day stay to 4 days and later 7 days. Also, they did not charge for extending at the lost moment, in fact booked us in the same room at a further discounted rate. The long stay didn’t matter due to the hospitality of the staff. We felt at home. Mr Vishal the manager was very helpful and often went out of the way to make our stay better, like a lamp genie he would serve to our wishes. Elsewhere it would have been tough at other places, especially with my erratic, homesick 4 year old along. They made child feel perfectly at home too. The all you can eat breakfast of toasts, eggs, fruits, cereals, juice, jams & marmalade etc along with tea coffee milk was good for the price too. All this for a very low price, at which one wouldn’t have anything to complain about (and there wasn’t).

The flight was late. Had the code to get through the door. Envelope with keys in and an older man at the desk (1am) who wasn't really there (his words) as he finished at 11pm. I took the key and made our way to room 12. At 2:30am the smell was keeping me awake. The room is very dated. The curtains are utterly filthy and covered in white stains. I booked this place in January following average reviews. I expected outdated but clean. Clearly something has changed since then. This smell is literally the worst hotel experience of my life. It's like someone has burned something toxic and it's permeated everything here. I fear my planned day out will be ruined by my lack of sleep. I was wishing it was possible to go somewhere else, but in the middle of the night and the road to the hotel is very dark- this is not an option. Woken up at 7:45 after a fractious sleep because someone must have been having trouble with a door. They banged it loudly about 20 times. A truck outside making lots of noise and people talking at the top of their voices. Would have done anything for a few more minutes sleep. Never again.

Decent enough for a little work trip. The main thing that would make it better is for the staff to have more facial hair. It would make the whole experience flow a lot better.

Vishal welcomed us with a very tasty curry and was a friendly host. Rooms are clean and perfectly suited for a night in close proximity to the airport.

This hotel ticked all the boxes for our overnight stay before early flight. I highly recommend the restaurant where Vishau cooked a lovely meal for us and made my hungry little girl very happy with his charm and friendly chat. Thank you Vishau!

Our room was basic but acceptable ... The curtains were filthy which put me off a little. We could not use the shuttle bud on the morning of our stay due to it being such an early start. We were charged £15 for pick up but the driver was friendly and prompt

Can’t fault it to be fair worth the money would definitely recommend if you are getting an early flight (taxi around 12.50 early morning)

This was an overnight stop for an early morning flight. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff pleasant. We could have parked the car there for £6.00 per day, if we had known (in 2021 that was less than the long stay at Gatwick). The hotel has seen better days, it's old and tired but still clean and comfortable.

Had to stay there due to a very early flight from Gatwick. Can't get there unless you book a taxi. There is a bus and a train station however they weren't frequent either of them so we lost 1,5 hour from Gatwick airport to the hotel. Although the hotel has a shuttle bus when we called them and asked them to pick us up they didn't send it and told us to book a taxi instead (we were walking carrying our luggage all the way from the train station after a 5 hours journey). No towels in the room. No reception at night. The hotel hasn't been renovated in ages. Next time I'll spend the night at the airport. Didn't worth it at all. A total waste of time and money. Having said that, the taxi took us to Gatwick airport in 5' for 20£.
