It has the ingredients of a Premier Inn but their USP is a good night's sleep and the aircon wasn't working. It was August and very hot for me. When I mentioned it at reception as I checked out, assuming it was just my room I was told it was an ongoing issue for the whole hotel for some time. I suggested they let people know in advance and offer a reduced rate as compensation at which point I was offered a free breakfast. I assume staff are told to offer that to anyone that complains. Of course being an airport hotel, almost everyone would be catching a flight and unable to take up the offer. I'd had dinner in the restaurant too. A salad which genuinely looked like it was from the 1970s, Cobb salad I think it was called. The lady that served me was lovely though - Violetta. I hope she has good working conditions. In fact bar and reception staff were also professional and pleasant

WOW. Unbelievably good value for 40 pounds / night!! They got all the important things right - very clean rooms, well maintained, spacious, comfy beds, extra clean pillows and towels. Rooms felt like a Marriott. Honestly I’m pretty picky and this exceeded my expectations. Won’t stay elsewhere now. Downsides: restaurant is okay, not great, but hey what do you expect. No other amenities (but I wouldn’t really have used them anyways). Also worth noting, though it’s a 5 min walk from Gatwick, think this is better than the Premier Inn right in North Terminal. Less crowded and quieter, so go for this one. Overall, if you’re looking for a good nights rest and comfortable stay, don’t go anywhere else.

The room was extremely hot and the air conditioning was not helping to cool the room down. The fan helped to circulate some air but it was still quite stuffy. The lady at reception was so lovely and brought us up a sheet which was a lot cooler than a duvet and the company did give us a refund.

Enjoyed a very pleasant stay here before our early morning flight from Gatwick. Check in was seamless, the staff were friendly & helpful (particularly the bar staff at dinner), our room was clean and we had a very comfortable night's sleep. The hotel is just under a 10 minute (slow) walk to the North Terminal and there is a frequent free shuttle transfer to the South Terminal too. We'd definitely stay here again and can highly recommend (especially as it was £20 cheaper than the Premier Inn right outside the terminal!)

Stayed here last night during the September heatwave. Was expecting a hot room based on recent reviews, however, my room was wonderfully cool! Room was spotless. Nice comfy bed. Nice cool room despite the 35 degree weather (I actually used my duvet!). Seamless check in via a screen, and easy check out (drop your card in the box when leaving). Didn’t try the restaurant so can’t comment on that but there is a small outside seating area for drinks (with parasols too) which was lovely. Great location (8-9 mins walk to north terminal, paved route). Black out curtains made the room so dark and it was so quiet too, even though I was on the first floor facing the car park / outdoor drinks area. Would 100% stay again for flights from Gatwick. Thank you!

This not the Premier Inn that's opposite Gatwick Airport, it's about half a mile walk from the terminal next to Shell petrol station. We walked in the rain and got quite wet :( It's a decent budget hotel with sizable rooms, a restaurant and bar. We had the two course dinner, drink and breakfast combo deal which is reasonable value. Dinner choices were good and the food was well presented. Breakfast is a full English buffet with self service coffee and tea. I would recommend this if you are a fan of full English (they offer vegan choices too).

The stuff members are very polite and helpful. We came early and was able to leave our luggage at the hotel to go on the trip to Brighton without it. They don’t have fees for the late check in. The family room was clean, spacious and has one double bed and two single beds, which were very comfy. There was a heat wave outside that day but the room was cool to sleep. There’s a shuttle bus to/from Gatwick for an extra £ or it takes 10-15 minutes walk to reach the hotel. The breakfast buffet (£10 and kids eat free) was delicious and had lots of food to choose from.

The best Premier we have visited, brilliant for overnight stay for a flight next day. All staff very friendly and polite. A garage next door cold beers and other snacks. Rooms clean,a bigger TV then some premiers, looking forward to staying there again.

Stayed here on a Friday night before our early morning flight. Busy hotel right opposite the North terminal. Staff are a delight. Lovely helpful lady on reception and really nice waitress in the restaurant. Room was what you'd expect for a premier inn. Food in the restaurant was of good quality and very tasty. Airport bus service pulls into the hotel car park every 20 minutes or so. Highly recommended to use for either North or south terminals

Our flight was diverted, so had no intention of staying here. Surprised at the reasonable price (£79 at 8pm) Staff were lovely, food was good. Room had the faint odour of concealed vomit, when you first walked in. Tenp control meant I had a lovely cool sleep. Disclosed allergies meant my breakfast was cooked fresh!!! Perfectly done scrambled eggs and amazing black pudding.

The hotel was okay in general. The room was clean and it was relatively easy to get to from the train station. The problem was their AC wasn't working so I can imagine that some people might have had trouble sleeping during the heatwave in June. They had provided a little fan and the windows were open so it wasn't too bad for me and I was able to sleep. Room service was available, sort of, but I opted out of it. For a quick sleep before my flight it was fine for me and quite a good price.

This is an excellent, modern hotel, just a 5-minute walk from Gatwick Airport's north terminal. When you exit the terminal, you'll see a Premier Inn - it's NOT that one ! Follow the road to the left, around to the back of this building, then turn right. It's a really short walk... no need to take a bus/taxi. As usual, it's a great Premier Inn, great breakfasts (free for under 16-year-olds). My only moan is that the Family Rooms are just a regular room with two extra single beds crammed into it. And toilet paper. Why do they use sheet-by-sheet toilet paper dispensers in the bathrooms ? This isn't a seedy nightclub, you know... Apart from that, great location, friendly staff, yummy breakfasts, good value for money.

As I live a fair distance from Gatwick, for late arrivals or early take off, this is my hotel of choice. They have late night bar and food until 3am, which is a real bonus for a late arrival. Rooms are very comfortable. In the lobby you have a really good Costa coffe for breakfast on the go.

Rooms comfortable and very clean, loved the complimentary Kit Kat! Pizza from the bar was excellent even at 1 in the morning and an overall very good experience topped by friendly and knowledgeable staff who must have aced customer service school. Only very slight downside is that it’s a bus ride from the terminal and £8 return is a tad steep for a five minute journey to the North Terminal which works out pretty expensive for a family of 4!

Great 1-night stay. All as you would expect. The staff without exception were all wonderful. Warm and welcoming check-in and great service and food in the bar and restaurant. The only slight quibble I have is with the confusion caused by having 3 Premier Inns with 2 very near the north terminal. Perhaps there could be a way of making the names a little more unique to each hotel.

We had an unexpected overnight stay, and booked one of the last rooms, but it was still less expensive that all but one other hotel in the area, and the walk was easier than I'd anticipated. My only real issue was that the pillows were very flat and didn't scrunch well to prop your head up a bit. Also the airport shuttle only runs once an hour, by the walk was easier than I'd anticipated. Otherwise, you can tell it's a bit older (mainly the carpet), but it's in good nick, the staff is GREAT, the food was pretty good (breakfast had a lot of options, and dinner was delicious), the bed was comfy, and the shower had good water pressure. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. The hotel isn’t the closest to the airport but it is easily reachable walking from the north terminal. Premier inn doesn’t really disappoint usually. We had a very good night sleep and a surprisingly tasty dinner. We usually avoid the food as we didn’t have the best experience with the breakfast, but the dinner menu was actually pretty tasty 😋

Premier inns are always good so no surprises here. All staff were excellent but we would like to mention the breakfast lady Lorraine she welcomed us showed us to our table then gave us a"tour" ensuring we knew where everything was. Whilst such service is expected it is not always present wherever you are. I hope this review ensures that Premier Inns pass on this to Lorraine for a job well done.

Stayed due an early departure from Gatwick. Great value but most importantly, the service was fantastic and extremely helpful. We explained that we were parked in the car park and that my kids were taking the car back home after dinner and he arranged 4 hours free parking for us. It's a 10 minute walk to departures at North terminal which is very clearly sign posted. Would recommend

Ideal location for using the Gatwick South terminal. Clean, tidy, with quiet and conformable rooms. Very, very busy. Hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was very busy but they tried there hardest to get us a table. The food was of a really good standard and the restaurant staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. This is how a Premier Inn should be!

It was fine. We arrived to a busy reception area which looked like a busy market. The room was fine. Linens super white and crisp. The only problem, and I find this happens a lot with busy airport hotels - the toilet bowl smells like a musty toilet. Food seemed expensive for what it is. I never tried it, all a bit too “fast food” for me. Otherwise all fine.

The room was fine with a comfy bed and good air con. However, the staff were uninterested and actually quite rude. Along with this, me and my girlfriend were sat waiting for our food at the restaurant for over an hour. While others were seated, served, had eaten and paid before we were even acknowledged. I definitely would recommend venturing out for food, and not relying on this self proclaimed convenience.

Stayed last night - Reception staff quite friendly, good location near to the airport. The bar can get very busy and due to its small size cannot cater for many people. The food in the restaurant was average to be honest although it was priced fairly. The manageress in the restaurant was brilliant. Bar staff were the best! Rooms are nice and cosy even though I could hear someone walking around heavily in the bedroom upstairs!
