You
know
when
the
food
is
so
good
you're
still
thinking
about
it
later?
This
was
one
of
those
places
for
us.
We
checked
this
place
out
for
lunch
since
it
mentioned
it
was
authentic
Japanese.
As
we
went
during
COVID,
they
closed
the
upstairs
for
now
but
the
lady
owner
was
so
friendly
to
greet
us
downstairs
where
there
was
a
table.
Right
from
the
start,
the
Japanese
lady
was
so
inviting
and
made
us
feel
welcome.
The
location
is
a
bit
unexpected
as
it's
located
in
the
Bay
Studios
behind
the
car
dealership.
Fortunately
you
can
park
around
there
for
free.
We
asked
her
for
recommendations
and
she
mentioned
the
katsu
chicken
as
well
as
the
vegan
don.
At
the
end
we
had
three
dishes;
the
katsu
chicken
with
tuna
rice
balls,
katsu
baguette
and
vegan
don.
It
was
all
so
scrumptious
and
fresh,
we
devoured
it
all.
The
katsu
chicken
was
crispy
on
the
outside
and
juicy
on
the
inside
as
it
should
be.
The
vegan
don
is
still
on
my
mind.
I'm
not
a
vegan
but
the
way
she
cooked
the
cauliflower,
mushrooms,
homemade
pickles
and
sauce
with
rice
was
so
refreshingly
different.
I
would
pick
that
again!
Even
though
her
menu
was
small,
you
can
taste
the
quality
and
care
that
she
puts
in
making
the
food.
This
is
a
hidden
gem.
Domo
arigato!
