We
stayed
here
last
year
and
it
was
good.
We
stayed
here
July
23,
and
it’s
even
better.
The
owners
have
spent
a
huge
amount
on
the
hotel,
making
a
few
gaps
into
luxurious
space.
The
new
glass
roof
Cloisters
bar
and
restaurant
is
beautifully
done,
the
staff
are
really
nice
and
helpful,
and
the
food
in
the
Cloisters
restaurant
was
excellent.
I
had
a
rib
eye
steak
and
it
was
one
of
the
best
I’ve
had.
The
meat
is
from
local
farm,
the
seafood
looked
good
and
obviously
locally
sourced
as
well.
Pool
/
spa
also
excellent,
grounds
well
kept,
overlooking
the
golf
course.
An
excellent
spot
to
stay
in
the
countryside.
Update
-
breakfast
service
Sunday
morning
was
dreadful.
Understaffed,
took
10
mins
for
someone
to
come
and
ask
if
we
wanted
tea/coffee.
Then
some
breakfasts
turned
up
at
our
table,
but
not
for
us.
Then
the
wrong
tea
turned
up.
Then
some
juice
but
no
glasses.
Then
some
other
breakfasts,
but
still
not
ours.
Then
we
chased
the
“pastries”
and
got
a
tray
with
2
very
small
pastries,
and
2
slides
of
white
“toast”
that
had
barely
been
shown
the
toaster.
Then
our
actual
breakfasts
turned
up.
Pancakes
with
“crispy”
bacon,
the
bacon
wasn’t
crispy
it
was
pink
and
wet,
which
means
bacon
juice
mixes
with
the
maple
syrup.
A
lot
of
other
tables
having
similar
issues.
Basically
understaffed
for
breakfast
service,
not
well
trained,
table
numbering
clearly
had
an
issue
confusing
deliveries
of
plates
to
nearly
all
the
wrong
tables
for
all
breakfasts.
It
seriously
should
not
be
difficult
to
sit
people
at
a
table
for
breakfast
and
as
they
sit
down
ask
if
they
want
tea
or
coffee
and
juice.
Then
they
have
something
to
drink
whilst
thinking
on
food.
You
can
get
that
in
a
diner
!
