😠 If i could give no stars, I would. I have been calling for a week for an appointment for my 2 years old, it's always fully booked somehow. I call them from 8am in the morning, but call wait is always full. Once I get to the receptionist in the afternoon, there's no vacancy left. Totally frustrating. People often mention surgery, call, time, phone, appointment, receptionist, rude, times,

If not got through to surgery by 9.30am via phone no appointments left. No doctors at the surgery. I drive down to surgery poorly at 9.30am following day, no appointments available suggested I ring at 8am next day, which I did but to no avail. Next day I drive down to surgery for 8am, no GP's in surgery offered nurse. Whilst sitting in waiting room waiting for nurse, out of curiosity I phoned the surgery where I was informed the queue call was full. In the 20 mins waiting for my appointment with the nurse the receptionist had not answered the phone at all. I was also advised later to use e-consult where nobody responds to this either having spent a considerable amount of time answering the many questions online and still no one responded. If you are feeling unwell before these processes you will certainly feel more unwell after.

Just wanted to share my experience with this surgery I changed surgery a couple of months ago. Was one of the best decisions I have made. Dr.Richards and Dr.Mckenzie are the worst out there. They are rude as hell and couldn't care less. All but one receptionists are rude. I am on weekly meds and they left me without them numerous occasions even though the pharmacist had reminded them so many times. The only reason they deserve one star is because of a receptionist doing the doctors job after 8 months of mess ups. I was shocked to hear her say in her own words "we aren't supposed to be messing around with your prescriptions any more".

Receptionist incredibly rude. Received a letter to call at my convenience to make a Dr phone appointment call to discuss my test results. Bear in mind the website recommends not to call at 8am as it's busy, and the automated phone response says to call after 12noon for test results. So I called around 3pm stating that I am calling in response to the letter. Rude receptionist (Scottish accent) response was "call back from 8am tomorrow, it's too late now to book a Dr phone call", in a very abrupt tone. I asked her when the cut off time is to call after 8am, if I was calling too late .. I must have asked her (calmly) 5 times but all she kept saying was "As I said call after 8am" I said but technically it is now after 8am so please tell me between what hours should I call. (I mean not everyone is able to call at 8am and be put on hold listening to irritating music for a very long time). Like a robot all she kept saying was call after 8am. After asking so many times what the time window is for calling without an answer, I calmly told her I found her extremely rude.. she terminated the call! I was so shocked at her reaction...maybe I shouldn't be shocked because they have a reputation for allowing receptionists to talk to people in a condescending manner. To add, I was recently kept waiting for 1 hour for my scheduled appointment, ( check in screen said Dr on time) after 45 mins I asked reception why the delay and was told Dr is delayed in a meeting. No apology. This surgery have no respect for their patients whatsoever, (bar the exception) but the bad ones leave a very bad taste and the other reviews on here speaks volumes.

Worse clinic that I have ever been registered with They are so rude, careless about patients Would not recommend. This clinic should actually be cancelled i don't know what they are doing there if they are not answering the phones, not taking people in for appointments, and even if person will go to see someone they don't help in any way. Not even giving back the results of any samples.

If I could give minus stars I would!! The most appealing surgery EVER. Was on the phone for over 1hr 30min whilst I started off at number 2! No call backs and no care regarding patient. The surgery needs to be looked into as it is absolutely disgusting regarding service and patient care! So unprofessional and lack of concern.

There is no care in this Health Care Practice. Receptionists are nice, but that's about it. Most of the GP are rude, obnoxious even, they don't listen, they can't be bothered to check system for medical history, they make gaslighting and humiliating comments, they're argumentative for no reason, show no compassion nor empathy. They diagnose patients with clinical depression like there is no tomorrow, or like there would be commission to cash up. My physical health deteriorated significantly within last year, but they still adamantly repeat "paracetamol is your best friend". I'm on ketoprofen, daily, I buy it online, chronic pain become too severe.. I'm not singled out in this treatment, all my neighbour have similar issues with Pencester Surgery.

Just terrible service, last three times to get appointment, needed up just calling 111. Just tried to call them at 8 when they open, to get the closed surgery auto response. Then after 31 minutes of trying to call can’t even get in the queue as just keeps saying queue is full and ends the call

I have been with this Surgery for many years, and am sorry to say watched it go down hill rapidly. Just very recently I have had to contact them. Waited over 20 minutes to get through, only to be told no appointments and to ring back on Monday, spent the whole weekend very unwell. Finally, on the Monday I managed to speak to the Doctor, the whole conversation lasted mere seconds, I wasn't asked about my symptoms, just palmed off with Antibiotics. Had to ring again after the course of Antibiotics did not relive all of my symptoms, once again, I was not asked about my symptoms, and the Doctor seemed more interested in getting me back to work, which I was clearly unfit for. Finally, went down to collect my Doctors note for work 3 days later only to be told it hadn't been done. 😑 The place is an absolute shambles!

My Seriously ill son is supposed to be looked after by this practice, but they look after nobody but themselves. Even getting results of tests is impossible, often leading to more serious problems. They are the rudest and least professional practice I've ever known. Its time they were shut down by the CQC.

This surgery is a disgusting joke and I will be making a formal complaint about it. My mum has liver scarring she spoke to the gp as she had jaundice he told her over the phone that she had months to live and had she spoken to anyone about palliative care! All without seeing her. I wouldn't recommend this surgery to my worst enemy!

Spent over 1/2hr in queue on phone only for them to hang up on me. Gave up 1st time as was stuck at no 4 for 20min and left it an hour. It was even classed as a busy time.

I have recently moved to the area and had tried to get in to a surgery close to where I live but they were not taking on new patients, the next nearest was Pencester Surgery, I have been a couple of times to the surgery and have to say I have not experienced any issues, the receptionist is always friendly and professional, the nurses I have seen have been wonderful, reassuring, professional and caring, I am due to go for a health check on Monday, however the last two visits I cannot fault the surgery at all. Whenever I call I have always been able to get in to see someone face to face and always without a 2 week wait which I have had at my previous surgery. I also like the fact they have a strict policy of mask wearing because I feel safe going to the surgery and sitting in the waiting room, I just wish public transport was as tight on mask wearing as the surgery :) I am very happy with them, I look forward to being a patient there with a great continued service.

Well I have been with this practice for years. I have waited a very long time to see a doctor, to come out to the lights switched off! I have also been treated fairly, with respect and although not the way things have gone, to my liking, they have been brilliant with me. I have many ailments and with the aid of technology, I get an answer, more or less straight away. Just today Claire from reception was brilliant! When we or a loved one is poorly, our attitude changes and certainly frustration grows. We aren't the only ones who need help, plus a pandemic, so please remember our manners abd remember the staff are humans too!!!

Disgusted with the service from this surgery and with a certain Dr Richards who thinks he can play God with people's medication's that they've been on for almost 20 years. Best thing you could do is avoid this surgery like the plague!

If I could give it no stars then I would. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to get into the call queue let alone get an appointment. No wonder A&E is overrun with non-urgent patients.

I'm disgusted with this surgery I've just tried putting in for my medication which was prescribed for me by a neurologist in Ashford and it turns out that the receptionist is the one who keeps rejecting my requests what gives someone who's not a doctor the right to look at my medical records and tell me what I should be on and when I take them I'm furious and tomorrow I'm writing to NHS complaints about this I'm not having it

I tried to ring this surgery for over a week many times each day and never got through which cost so much money as a voice waste so much time telling you about the surgery before they tell you the phone line is full and ring back later.
