Went to watch Eagles Tribute last night. Group were amazing as usual. But venue wasn't brilliant nice place but obvious they don't like outsiders, girl behind the bar positively rude or just plain stupid. Waiting to be served was told will be with you in a minute just waiting for payment. She then proceeded to ignore me and serve another 2 people. When I said excuse me, I was here first she looked at me like I had crawled out of the gutter. I asked for a Tia Maria a packet of ready salted and packet of cheese and onion. She then tried to add coke to the drink brought the wrong crisps and charged me £6. How this was possible when a round of drinks for 3 of us previously was £7.80 and included a Tia Maria in those rounds, baffled me. I would have said have one yourself but she obviously took a very large one anyway without being offered. Certainly wouldn't recommend visiting here or using for a function. Only polite person in there was the guy on the door.

Pleasant venue with room to hire for events. Organised a few events here and room is always kept to a high standard. Staff fabulous and attentive, beer kept well which is important. Large range of drinks available too. Would definitely recommend to anyone searching for local venue for up to 150 people.

Good facilities for events. We attended the Eagley Jazz Club.

What a great night! Band were really good. It was our first time there and people were really friendly and made us feel welcome.

We love coming here to decorate the place for parties. It's always a nice atmosphere and pleasurable time. The stage is a great asset to have as you can have bands, comedians ect at your party or event. Bolton Balloon Fairies

Love this place. First class interior with well kept real ale. Friendly atmosphere with places to sit and chat in peace. But with TV and snooker areas for those wishing to enjoy those entertainments.

Great venue in the function room. My partner and myself attended a 50th there recently. The room is spacious and well decorated with well laid out seating, with a stage and dance floor at one end and a large bar area at the other. Drinks are very reasonably priced and they have a good selection of beers including alcohol free. There is a small side room where the buffet was enabling the main room not to encumbered with excess tables. Would recommend this room for a function.

Great private club and the snooker was far more enjoyable than I'd expected.

Good venue for parties, celebrations and wakes. Separate function room off the club room, this combined with a small room for food/buffets made it ideal. Nicely decorated with a stage area and private bar which is reasonably priced.

Great place to relax and socialize. 3 snooker tables, 2 dart boards and a pool table. Dogs are allowed in which is a bonus.

Went to this place to play in a bowling match. The Green was good but very tricky for my first visit there. I didn't win but the Ladies Team I was playing in won the match which was g8. The temperature was way down from normal and towards the end of the match we all had a battle with the midges!!

Went here to celebrate a christening. Nice big room . Very clean and tidy. Clean toilets which I personally judge alot of places on, and a well kept pint.

I was concert compere here from 1996 to 2004. It was nice to call for a Fathers day drink with my daughter and son in law. The club is very comfortable with 3 or 4 snooker tables and a pool table. Also a dart board. Great bowling green at front of club. Staff were very efficient. I remembered the steward, David from my time at the club all those years ago. Great guy.

Very good Jazz Club and great atmosphere. Large concert room with a good bar and refreshments available.
