    Excellent service by Neelam we highly recommend her for your purchase. Me and my partner were in the store for nearly 30 minutes and no one approached us then we went upstairs and after few minutes we were greeted by Neelam. This gave us confidence for purchase, time and again she guided us about the product which we found were quite useful. She carefully listened to our requirement and advised us to go for Guardsman which we found was much needed as we have pets. We were planning to go only for dining table but ended up buying wardrobe and other furniture with her help. We highly recommend her as she gave us the time we needed and allowed us to make the best decision. We are so excited 😊 of our purchase and are looking forward to see you soon next month for our bed purchase 😀.

    We happened to find the store unexpectedly and left with a very clear plan for a new sectional. We liked that we were greeted upon entering the store but were left to browse without pressure. When Bana, the sales person, approached us later, we were ready with questions and she was very knowledgeable about the products. We ended up going home, taking more measurements and then called her to make our purchase. Overall, we were happy with the service.

    I used to like going to this place. Today was a total disappointment 😞. The staff seemed to be more available to chat or to act silly with their colleagues rather than helping customers. I was looking for a specific product. Unfortunately, they only had one in display and were not interested in having the other, not in display 😕 because they could not be bothered. They seemed to pick and choose what to say to customers without checking and making unprofessional comments while the client was still near them. I found it very unpleasant. There were at least 6 members of staff in that shop, and only one (Kim) seemed to do his job correctly. The others acted unprofessional while customers were in the shop by having personal chats! I believe the value of the shop has been going down terrible. The quantity and quality of the products seemed to remain good. Nevertheless, staffing needs to improve radically if they want to keep up with the market and to re-evaluate their approach with customers. Furthermore, on the website, they try to give a positive image by offering a cup of tea 🍵 to show how friendly they are with customers! I am still waiting for mine, and I did not see them offering to anyone neither 😒!

    I ordered a table and chairs and corner sofa from Southampton branch in May 2021. The corner sofa arrived in July but one seat was wrong so had to be changed. The table and chairs was promised for August, in August it was promised for September, in September it was promised for October, in October it was promised for November, in November it was promised for December and yes in December it was promised for January at which point I said forget it, you have strung me along long enough. I had been asked way back in August to pay for the table and chairs up front, I refused to pay until it was ready to be delivered, good job I did or i would have no choice but to wait until god knows when. I know there has been a pandemic, staff shortages etc but 8 months !!! I suggested that the £84 balance outstanding on the sofa be written off for all the inconvenience they had caused and a gesture of goodwill. Received a voice mail from gentleman requesting the £84 so my table and chairs could be released to me in February??? I ignored call so they rang my daughter and told her I needed to pay them £84, obviously never heard of data protection. So if you have ordered anything from this store you have been warned to expect a long wait, wrong pieces delivered, requests for payment up front and your personal details divulged to other people.

    Myself and my partner placed an order over 4 months ago and was told at the time we'd be expecting the sofa from mid Feb - end of Feb. The main reason we placed the order here instead of DFS is we didn't want to have to wait until the end of March for the sofa (nearly 6 months) we've not had any updates or courtesy calls or emails (we didn't even receive the confirmation of order email until we requested it over 2 months later) in the past 16+ weeks from Furniture village, so have had to call them 3 times for updates. Each time the customer service advisor confirmed we're still to expect the sofa between mid Feb - end of Feb. Today being a week in, and still no indication to the delivery date, we called again. We got through to Bill, the rudest, most unprofessional salesman/customer service advisor I've ever spoken to in my life. He kept cutting my partner and myself off, speaking over us. Was patronising the entire time, then for some random reason stated "February is a short month" to us .... oh thanks Bill, I'm glad you explained something I learned nearly 30 years ago as a child. Again whilst trying to talk and when I called him out on being rude and patronising he kept saying "but have I given you the wrong information" (I'll just add this was after he told us the sofa was on track to be delivered at the end of March now, 4 - 5 weeks after we'd been expecting it for the past 4 months) and I challenged why we'd been given the wrong information by Furniture village for one third of a year. I'm making a formal complaint regarding Bill and his poor customer services, I'm astonished he was hired to work in a customer facing role. I wouldn't even hire him to clean the toilets with his attitude. Needless to say, after we receive the sofa. We'll never return to furniture village again with the experience we've had. To summarise * Poor customer service * Lied to about delivery date (that we paid £69 for) * By the time we receive our sofa it would have been nearly 6 months - the same amount of time it's taken for a car we ordered at the same time to be built in Germany, shipped and received here in the UK. (How does it take the same time to build a sofa and a 4x4 from scratch?) * go to DFS if you're ordering a sofa, much friendlier and roughly same wait times.

    Purchased an Emma Hybrid Mattress which cost over £1000 after trying one out in store. We have had the mattress for over a week now and although it’s very comfortable we have found it is a lot softer than we both remember when trying it out in store. We have contacted Furniture Village regarding this as we saw that the Emma Guarantee states we could receive a free topper to make it former, we have been told that Furniture Village does not provide this service. I think this is absolutely disgusting considering the amount paid and the fact they will not honour the guarantee that Emma values itself on!!

    I purchased sofa set and dinning table set from this brunch. Good quality and beautiful design. But delivery of this items were real shambles. They gave me 5 delivery date that only 1st one and last one after 2 months delay materialized. If it wasn't for Bana I am not sure I would have still received dinning table yet. She was the only person who returned my calls and chased the items. Others including managers didn't even return my calls when I got in touch. So if you don't mind when youd receive your purchase then this might be the right place for you.

    Absolutely fantastic service from Bill and will definitely be going through him for my next purchase. On arrival, Bill approached us with a very friendly and polite manner. He wasn’t pushy or anything but was there whenever we had any questions. He demonstrated a great depth of knowledge in the products and helped guide us in buying the right sofa for us. Whilst we decided, we were provided with warm drinks and cookies! The whole experience was unforgettable and by far the best service we received in comparison to the other sofa retailers. Bill, thank you once again for going above and beyond for us.

    This was an easy trip to buy a bed! We knew what Tempur mattress we wanted, but had struggled to find the right ottoman bed/base for our bedroom when visiting other bed suppliers. Impressive range of beds and mattresses in Furniture Village with plenty of good January offers, and we were pleased to find what we wanted. Kim was very knowledgeable and helpful, taking us through all the options, which resulted in us purchasing the bed and mattress we wanted. Should be delivered in 5-7 weeks. Great shopping experience!

    Amazing experience with Bana, who was super helpful from start to finish. Bana clearly understood my mum's needs and took us straight to the perfect chair, which she promptly sorted all the paperwork for. Bana even helped us to organise a prompt delivery. I hugely appreciated how much she listened and didn't just try to sell us anything. Thank you Bana! You are wonderful!

    Edit: We paid for this bed the end of June, was told it would be with us the end of August, which even though a long wait, we were prepared to wait. The week before it was due it got delayed to the middle of September, two weeks later the end of October, and now it's still not ready so had to cancel! We've gone to Dreams last week and it's coming next week, so disappointing from Furniture Village and took forever to actually speak to someone abiur the issue. Purchased a bed, mattress with everything today with Mark! He treated us so well and managed to get us the best deal! Amazing free drinks and cookies! Highly recommend!

    After receiving fabulous service from Victoria at Furniture Village Southampton our new Sofa and Chair arrived in time and the delivery service was very efficient and quick. The lamp that we ordered separately was sent as soon as that was ready so we didn’t have to wait for the sofa. We were also inspired by Victorias interior design ideas too and so kept with our urban jungle theme. Final touches needed like curtains but very happy with the service both before and after the purchase Thank you 😊

    We had been looking for a wardrobe for some time and recommended to look at the Furniture Village range. On entering the store we were greeted by Alex, who was excellent and showed us the range and fully understand what we were looking for, and we were pleased to order from his recommendation, we even enjoyed a cup of tea! Not only good service from the store, but also the delivery team, who kept us informed plus the customer care team, who we contacted about an item. Immediately they reassured us that it would be sorted ,which they did. So we were very pleased with the complete team and wouldn't hesitate in visiting the store again,and hopefully Alex.

    Fine and elegant furniture. If you are looking for contemporary design then you probably find the ones you like. The staff is helpful. While I think most are made in mainland China they said thry could provide the one made in Germany, Italy. Of course it depends on the origin of the brand. Regarding the price range you can't compare it with Ikea.

    Superb place for all your furniture needs. We were after a sofa set and after visiting many stores found the one we were after here. We were looked after by Victoria who was amazing and helped us nail down the sofa we were after. She was very courteous and patient with all the requirements.     We went into the store to see the sofa we saw online before deciding to buy it. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and not pestered. we felt that the sofa exceeded our expectations once we saw it so decided to buy. Alex helped us through the whole process in a professional and friendly way, ensuring the we got the help and advice we needed. we are now waiting for our order to be delivered but from our experience so far, we would thoroughly recommend furniture village and seeing the Southampton branch staff for help

    DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE! I have had the worst experience dealing with this store during my purchase for a dining table. I purchased a Donnie marble table from them back in mid April, and I was told it would take 8-12 weeks for the delivery. However, after placing the order, I have heard nothing from them for over 4 month. When I called back I was told it has been delayed to early September, which I was fine with, just wished someone had let me know. Then early September came and I heard nothing. I called back on the 28th of September and I was told it was again delayed to early October. This delay with zero communication happened 3 more times until finally, the table was delivered today (19/11/22). This is when the situation got worse. I discovered that the table was not all marble, it is wrapped in marble print and coated in acrylic. This is clearly different to the sales assistant’s description of “all real marble table top” (by Ian and Paul). So I called back and spoke to Ian, which he then told me I should read the fine print myself when I visit their showroom. Currently the issue is still not resolved and I’m losing faith in this store. So, if you don’t want all this trouble, don’t buy from them; at lease not from the Southampton store!

    I was very impressed with the gentleman who dealt with my query. Looking for a new bed to fit into a small bedroom was made much easier when dealing with the salesman. He gave me advice on the products available without pushing for a sale. As a result I purchased a small four foot divan, and I am expecting delivery in the next few days.     First visit here, after visiting many other furniture shops we had a great experience by Grant. Very welcoming and worked very hard to find us exactly what we wanted.     Purchased bedroom furniture back in January finally got a partial delivery after phone calls and a store visit to the manager at the end of August. It’s now November and still waiting for a large chest of draws that was missing (apparently damaged in transit) I have chased it up a number of times and they always say the right words but nothing seems to happen. Initial date for delivery 15 weeks currently 42 weeks. I have been polite patient and understanding and extremely frustrated. Can’t see me coming here again!

    We came in today to Furniture Village in Southampton and was served by Victoria. We couldn't of asked for a better service. The customer care from start to finish was outstanding. Victoria was extremely knowledgeable and helped us pick and design our lounge sofas. We had help picking our mattress and bed frame also. We had no idea what we were looking for and left the store extremely happy with what we had orderd. Our experience was great from start to finish. Victoria was accommodating to our children, she was very patient with our decision making snd she makes an awesome hot chocolate.     This was an outstanding experience (in a good way !). My wife and myself have spent most of the last two days in the Furniture Village Southampton store and have to say how absolutely brilliant Victoria was throughout, very ably assisted by her colleague Ian. Our mission was to find furniture to put into an apartment in the local area. With space being very limited in the apartment, size and bulk was key to how the place will turn out. Victoria actually took the time (in her out of work hours) to come to the apartment with Ian and ourselves to measure up and advise on the different items we were proposing to buy - if that's not going beyond the call of duty, what is ? We only went in to the store in the first place to see if we could find a sofa but having seen Victoria's enthusiasm for our project, we ended up buying numerous other items and we will continue to furnish the apartment with as many items as we can find from this store. Why would we go anywhere else !! Thank you Victoria and Ian.

    Victoria in the Southampton branch was so friendly and helpful on our visit. We are buying our first home so have been shopping for furniture. Compared to other shops we have been in, Victoria made us feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed whilst answering all our questions. We often find people pushy and patronising and they don’t usually listen to our wants and needs. Victoria listened to everything we wanted and happily answered all of our (many!) questions. She provided exceptional service that was well tailored to our needs and we have ordered exactly what we wanted whilst ensuring the best possible deal. She offered great advice and tips for maintaining our furniture too. It was a pleasure doing business with her! Thank you, Victoria!
