An amazing pace to visit, whether you are religious or looking to explore and understand the beliefs and the teachings there is so much here to do - and that’s on non-festival days!!! The grounds are vast with a activity playground for children which is suitable for a wide range of ages, there is a number of flower Gardens and path ways through some woodlands. There is even a small lake with a pathway following it’s perimeter which is so calm and tranquil. There is a number of outdoor sheltered areas as well as various vegetarian foods that be purchased on site (and all are made on site too!) There is also a large Cowshed area where you can feed the cows for a small donation. Facilities are ample with various toilets on site and a vast amount of parking! A truly lovely, peaceful, relaxing and spiritual place to visit.

A wonderful place for everyone who is seeking solace on the midst of busy life. Spiritually uplifting, and spread over a huge area. Happy people, happy cows, great food. You can book halls for private functions as well. The arrangement was impeccable, the prasadam were really great. Would highly recommend.

Very beautiful and peaceful krishna temple. We visit often with family. Specially on the day Ramnavami and Janmastmi big celebration. Dance, music, shopping, drama, prasadam, aarti. Everyone must visit once atleast. Only problem is transportation if you don't have your own car bit difficult to reached temple as its far from watford station.

Mum and i like to explore new things and other than the banging of drums we didnt know anything about this Hare Krishna and Hinduism, So went on the website and booked a tour.. very informative.. and wasn't pushing in any way. so friendly. Clean place. Didn't have enough time for the shared lunch and the weather wasn't great for walking around the gardens so plan to re visit again. Many thanks 😊

I've been visiting this mandir for almost 14 years. It holds peace and the atmosphere is very welcoming it does bring inner peace and you do receive spiritual energy. They hold events that are celebrated in the Hindu festival. You should visit during Janmashtami. The decoration is amazing and they put a lot of effort Into the place and they also hold events.

Very peaceful and spiritual atmosphere at this Hindu temple outside Watford. George Harrison (ex-Beatle) donated this house and its grounds to the Bhaktivedanta spiritual movement. Dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha - hence the Hare Rama, Hare Krishna chanting. The devotees not only look after this temple but do all their own farming - some crops, cows etc - on site. Food is served in a cafe within the grounds - stuff like mango lassi, sweet dishes, veg pizza, kachori, samosas, hakka noodles, coffee, masala chai, variety of Indian snacks in packets etc etc (all vegetarian and without onion or garlic I believe). Prasad is distributed at certain times - check before going. Definitely recommended!

This is the most interesting place to visit if you are in Uk.The large beautiful lawns are lovely to walk around, the house is beautiful and well maintained. it is a perfect place to spend an afternoon as they have the gardens, cows, a play area for the kids and a little restaurant. Inside the house is the stunning prayer area and it feels totally relaxing to just sit and meditate. i was fortunate to visit during weekend where you will find stalls for shopping, plays, food, etc. The line to get into the house will take you a few hours though as they get a huge crowd of at least 50 000 people visiting during those festival days. all in all a must see attraction. A must visit place for eveyone🙏

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Iskon Temple in London, and I must say it was an experience that left a lasting impression on my mind and soul. From the moment I entered the temple grounds, I was enveloped in a serene atmosphere that instantly transported me to a world of tranquility. The temple's location amidst beautiful green surroundings provides the perfect backdrop for a spiritual retreat. As I strolled through the gardens and Gaushala, I felt a sense of calm wash over me. The peaceful ambiance and lush greenery create an ideal environment for meditation and introspection. One of the highlights of my visit was the soul-stirring Kirtan, the devotional singing and chanting of hymns. The melodious sounds filled the temple halls and touched my heart. The rhythmic beats and enchanting melodies uplifted my spirit and allowed me to connect with a higher power in a profound way. The warmth and hospitality of the temple staff and volunteers deserve special mention. Their genuine smiles and willingness to share their knowledge and experiences added an extra layer of meaning to my visit. They were always available to answer my questions and guide me through the temple's various activities and rituals. I would highly recommend the Iskcon Temple to anyone seeking a place of solace and spiritual rejuvenation in London. Whether you are looking for a quiet moment of reflection, a serene space to meditate, or simply a place to immerse yourself in the divine atmosphere, this temple offers it all. Visiting the Iskon Temple was a truly transformative experience for me. It is a sanctuary that nourishes the soul and provides an oasis of peace amidst the bustling city life. I am grateful for the opportunity to have visited this remarkable place and will cherish the memories and the spiritual nourishment it has provided. Hare Krishna ... Hare Rama .... Bless us all

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful property, with a temple at it's heart. Lovely gardens, small pond with circular walk, cow shelter and feeding area, and a few other attractions to complete your visit. We booked a family tour in advance and it was worth it. Highly recommended. Visited on a weekday so it wasn't very crowded, which made our visit even better.

I have been on Saturday Morning and the temple is located little outside the main town hence driving the car is best option. I'm not sure if their is any public transport facilities. I have been to many temples in UK and this Temple is vary spacious with Big Garden, Goshalla, Small Gift shop, Cafe.... In Goshalla if you pay a pound you can get a bowl of green leaves to feed Cows.. On Sunday, temple also provide free Lunch Prasadam. Since we went on Saturday we didn't get Prasadam but we had brought some food in cafe. I would recommend everyone to visit this temple atleast once. During janmastami they do special Pooja and food festival.

Peaceful place. In the Hertfordshire countryside just north of London, Bhaktivedanta Manor, complete with its farmlands, beautiful gardens and temple is a real sanctuary for the soul. Open all year round to visitors and students of ancient wisdom, the temple offers a great experience with tours of the shrine, gardens and compassionate farm. See the rooms of the famous Hare Krishna guru Srila Prabhupada, to whom George Harrison gifted this iconic mock Tudor mansion. Visitors may participate in inspirational talks, yoga classes, mantra meditation, vegetarian cooking classes and various retreats. Previously known as Piggott's Manor, the property was donated to the Hare Krishna movement in February 1973 by former Beatle George Harrison, after the Radha Krishna Temple in central London had become inadequate to house the growing number of devotees. You can feed the cows and shop for freshly made food and snacks. They serve lunch and tea to the devotees without charge. It has huge car parking space and a couple of overflow car parks. Enjoy your visit. Hare Krishna 🙏

I arrived because of my interest through being a huge Beatles and George Harrison fan. My Family from Mauritius practice hinduism and I habe taken an interest through a dear friend. So i wanted to learn more and find out what it is all about. Of course this cannot be done by one tour but perhaps a the basis to start. The Manor house is beautiful and the gardens are stunning. I will be returning to see them in full bloom next year. My guide who i am desparstely sorry that I cannot remember his namr was so knowlegeable patient and i formative. He explained his reasons for being their and helped to explain some of the ideas to my 6 year old. Some was clearly over head but she enjoyed it and the imterraction. The temple is beautiful and also those we saw were so wonderfully kind. I will be returning and whilst i have always been quite anti religion thos is an interesting spiritual path that resonates more with myself. Nothing is forced on you and you are encouraged to return amd ask more questions and find your pathm thank to all and I will see you again very soon.
