In an area with abundant garden centres Everton Nurseries stands proud as a family run community spirited business. Currently undergoing extensive development and improvements. Good variety of plants and trees and everything the gardener might need. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. They recently celebrated 100 years of trading with an extremely generous schools completion. Awarding a share of £1500 to three schools and a similar amount in prizes to six young prize winners. Cap it all off in an excellent cafeteria and it's a great day out.

First visit here today. Wow, what a fabulous garden centre. Wonderful variety of shrubs, roses, bedding plants, grasses and lots more. The lady that helped us in the outside garden area was so knowledgeable and gave me some really valuable tips and also helped me select plants that go well with each other. This was so appreciated and much better than other places where staff are just doing a job that they don't want to do! Makes such a change. Prices are also excellent! Will definitely be back.

Dire. Called in for lunch. Good memories of a previous visit a while ago and ordered two jackets with cheese. Hardly anyone there when I ordered but it still took half an hour for the meal to come to our table. I had seen the food being put onto a glass shelf above the hot food a good ten minutes before it was brought to the table. Not surprising that when we did get it, it was virtually cold and looked grey and unappetising.

The food at the restaurant was good and hot and delivered quickly. The staff were not friendly at all. Very offhand and aloof. The lady who took the order was the worse. Banged the drink down on the tray. A very bad experience and once was enough. Try being nice you might enjoy it and the customers might as well.

2023 update. Had festive afternoon tea in Camellias restaurant and it was very enjoyable. Great selection of sandwiches and cakes on the cakes. They even put crackers out so we had a good laugh. The servers were friendly and helpful and it was fantastic value for money just before Christmas as a treat for the family. Good garden centre that doesn't mind me walking around with the dog. Can even take the dog into the cafe in a special area so people who aren't keen on dogs don't have to eat near dogs if they don't want to. Food is really good, especially the roast dinner. And value for money.

Lovely place for either a nice wander amongst the flora and garden nics and naks and enjoy a coffee with cake or lunch in large cafeteria area a little something for everyone

Excellent place for high-quality plants, trees, and shrubs. The gift shop has some great items at good prices. They also stock an amazing array of cards for all occasions. Staff are cheerful and knowledgeable.

Small but ok. Had a coffee which was perfect. They were serving lunches which looked lovely & good value for money.

Have changed my mind from a couple of years ago. Plant prices are very reasonable and staff are super helpful, I think cafe could do with some modernisation and prices are a little steep when there are quite a choice of cafes/garden centres close by.

Went there to buy shrubs for our garden. The service was great and staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely go again

A little smaller than the typical UK garden centers. We went there for Christmas lunch and the food was really nice, but the pkacr was crowded and felt a little crammed in.

Lovely to meet friends there and have a nice lunch or snacks in their lovely restaurant. Great food, great assortment of garden products including gifts. Great quality products and excellent staff. The introduction of an on site Butcher who also has superior ready made meals, cheeses, cakes, ice cream, fresh local meats and produce at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Had a very nice lunch tunna chesse and red onion panni with salad and kettle crisp and Latte lovely sat out under cover with a breeze. The cooked meals looked so nice try them next time.

It was very warm and welcoming my dog was made welcome to which we find a lot of places won't allow him. The food was excellent and the service to.

Good food and drink. We arranged to meet as a family. We hadn't seen each other for several months. Wanted to chat but building work was going on and we couldn't hear ourselves think!!? A shame because I don't know when work like that could be done without disturbing customers.

Arrived before Ten on a Sunday and allowed to browse. Till opened on time. Great selection and very happy with the gift I purchased. Helpfully polite staff. Highly commended.

My friend's car had broken down in their car park with over £300 Of purchases on board. The management offered no help and locked the gates so the vehical could not be rescued, then left Is this the sort of place you should shop? I think not.

Excellent service and quality food all at a very reasonable price…Although with a reduced menu…. Still some great choices of main meals and lighter snacks….I always look forward to eating there.

Great Sunday lunch in Camilla's restaurant within the garden centre. Dog friendly and has an inside and covered outside areas too. Toilets within the garden centre. Very nice food, Sunday lunch just under £11 ea. Definitely would recommend.

A really good dog-friendly garden centre. A great display of plants etc with knowledgeable staff to answer questions. Covered area of cafe was good for dog owners. Coffee and flapjack were excellent and reasonably priced. The local butcher shop in the car park looked quite expensive though!
