Paul was really helpful before Christmas, with our selection of potential bike purchase. We returned and bought following that advice. We have now returned for 3 month service. This was carried out quickly. He offered some further advice too. Great service from Decathlon especially Paul. Will certainly recommend. Happy customer.

I bought my 2 person hammock well over a year ago and has served me very and used many times. Unfortunately on my trip to France I noticed a rip. I took it into store and Sara on the front desk was extremely helpful and gave a refund while ordering a new one from the Southampton store. Sara was very kind and sorted this within minutes! Excellent customer service. Also her coworker mihia was also very helpful. Thanks guys!!:)

Lovely store with so much choice, and great prices. I came in looking for hiking gear, amongst other things, and was helped by Vicky and Sara who showed me where items were and gave me fabulous advice on choosing the right rucksack for what I needed. Vicky showed me online what other options there were and explained I could place an order in store if the colourway I wanted wasn’t in stock. After that I went to look at the wetsuit section and asked Vicky about one of the items I’d picked up - she was very knowledgeable and it helped me to know if made the right choice on the item I was buying. She then helped me again at the till to complete my purchase. I had a great experience and will definitely come back again soon!

Just picked up my bike from the workshop. Stuarts workshop is immaculte and upkept with pride. From my first phone call, Stuart took on my order with such enthusiasm! Stuart is passionate about bicycles, full of information and expert in customer service. The bike was built to perfection and rides smoothly.

Very happy with the gold bike service. It's not the cheapest but you can certainly see that a very comprehensive service is done by a couple of guys called Stuart and Paul who know what they're doing. Bike is like brand new again. Excellent!

Stuart was a perfect sales person for me. He was clear and easy to understand. Very professional, but honest too. Went to pick my bike up and Paul in Bike Tech was great too. He explained about the fantastic 3 month new bike service and guarantee features before I took it away. Both Stuart and Paul made the whole process so much easier than I expected. Andrea was absolutely brilliant so very helpful and knowledgeable gave us her time too to insure we had all we needed also extremely polite! This was our first time in decathlon and we were very impressed only shame was that they were cashless! Will use again

Staff member Paul was very helpful and knowledgeable, Paul went above and beyond. Paul checked all the cycling shoes for our size, got a seat for me to sit and try on the trainers and helped me order the click and collect service. This was excellent customer service which I’m sad to say is very rare.

The Poole store was listed as one of only three stores in the south with the replacement tent pole I needed so I called to make sure it was definitely in stock as it’s a three hour round trip. Sara was so helpful and friendly, first personally checking the stock and when she called me back, also confirming she could arrange to send it to my nearest store so I didn’t need to make the long trip! Such excellent customer service!

Sara from the Poole branch is a credit to customer excellence. I spoke with Sara on the phone, with regards to an issue we had with a recently purchased tent. Even though Sara mentioned a courier service, we made the 3 hour round trip and were so pleased we did. The tent was exchanged without quibble. We went onto make further purchases in store and messed up at the self-serve checkout. Again, Sara was there to help us and removed the 'duplicate' purchases we'd accidentally put through. Even though it was a busy Saturday and Sara appeared to be helping a newer member of the team, we she somehow still managed to offer us a personalised service. Thank you Sara!

Amazing customer service from Dan. Really helpful.and knowledgeable. Recommended alternatives to choose from that would best fulfil our requirements and thoroughly happy with the purchase of our new freestanding basketball hoop. Even helped loading it into our vehicle.

I called the store enquiring about dancing tights for my daughter. Chester was very helpful on the phone and also was very helpful when I popped into the store to buy the tights. . I work in retail myself and feel that Chester should be recognised for his helpfulness and very polite manner when serving me.

Love decathlon but never been in one as disorganized and untidy. The changing room had clothes all over the seat and floor, swimming goggles display was just a shambles. Tops - designs and sizes were completely mixed up. And we were there early in the morning so no excuse really.

Decathlon in Poole.....I had the pleasure of visiting this store earlier this year, as I was looking for some clothing items, and also wanted to enquire about a seasonal range product. I was greeted with the biggest and brightest smile ever, from an employee who went out of her way, above and beyond, just in order to assist me with my query! The staff member in question is Andrea, and without a doubt, she has to be the best example of what great customer should be, and how all retail staff ought to conduct themselves whilst on any shop floor!! Really good product knowledge of electric bikes by Stuart, Poole Store. Informed comparisons made between the Riverside 100E and 500E, leading me to to opt for the latter. Deal done! I chose to collect from store as Decathlon service engineers inspect the bike and fit accessories at no additional cost. Very pleased with my purchase. Thank you

Stuart was very helpful and fixed a brake issue I had been told elsewhere is unfixable. He did this with no fuss at all and very quickly too. Highly recommended for fixes and a friendly, helpful attitude.

I used the bike workshop. Paul is very friendly and helpful. And offered advice. And if I have any questions or work that needs doing just give him a call. Will be definitely using again and telling other people it’s the go to place

I went to Decathlon with the aim of buying trainers suitable for the gym. Both the young men who dealt with my enquiry were polite and put me at ease. Chester was allocated to look after me and he was helpful and polite. He asked if I had any particular problems with my feet and advised me which trainers would work for me. I chose a pair and then helped me with finding the till and the procedure for paying. A positive experience.

We were exploring some options for an e bike for my wife. Hadn't actually planned to buy anything but we spent about an hour and a half with Paul. He was so incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and pragmatic. Ended up buying a riverside 500. Found the level of service exceptional and Paul highly recommended.

Bought an air-tent from a store in Sheffield a year ago and found it had broken after one use. Brought it into the Poole store nearest to where we were staying, explained what had happened, and they refunded us and helped select a different product to replace it. Staff were very helpful and made the process as simple as possible.

Visited Decathlon in Poole Redlands looking for a certain item that unfortunately they did not stock, But must say the customer service was spot on and in particular the young chap trying to find said item was very helpful going above and beyond to help! Thanks Chester 👍 keep up the good work 🙂

The staff here are always willing to go out of their way to give help and advice... An attachment on my paddleboard pump broke after a year and Javier replaced it for me immediately without any issues - thank you! Very pleasant service from the store manager also.

I was very happy with the assistance I received from Daniel today. I needed advice as I’m looking to take up open water swimming and he was very knowledgeable about the subject. Also if he didn’t know the answer he pointed me in the right direction of where to find it. It was nice to be dealt with by someone who is enthusiastic about what they do.

Purchased a E-ST 520 e bike today and the whole click and collect experience was absolutely fantastic. A huge call out to Paul in the cycle team, what a star. The whole handover process was seamless and Paul’s knowledge was second to none, even fitting last minute accessories for me and helping to load bike in to the car. Really trust the bike is as good as the store team. Don’t go anywhere else for activity and sports kit … wonderful place.

Brilliant service! Thoroughly recommend the bike guys at Poole Decathlon store. Paul did a thorough service on my bike. It needed a few replacement parts too. It was a busy Saturday and he was on his own but he didn't do a rush job and was calm and professional.
