Beautiful beach, pier and good amusement rides. Some good fish and chip shops, cafΓ©s and delicious ice cream parlours. The speed boating is a must do. The place is bit crowded on weekends and school holidays in spring and summer but still worth going.

Just had a lovely 4 nights break in Scarborough - fab walking along the promenade and arcades/ big wheel overlooking the beach area with fishing boats, deck chairs and donkeys all right on the front. Felt like being at the Riviera on one of the hot barmy days. Also loved the trams taking us up and down from the front and at Β£1.30 a go was great value for money and saved energy for enjoying food and drinks at the top x

Lovely beach. Very clean. Sand lovely sea quite clear to. Parking good though would recommend getting there early to ensure a space specially while the schools are closed. Not a lot of toilets. Only in the harbour from what I've seen. Plenty of places to eat. Plenty of dog friendly restaurants to. Just keep your eyes open or ask.

Gorgeous beach to walk on, proper sand too. Had to be careful in some places as there was jellyfish on the sand, but other then that a good place to visit. There was donkeys available to ride for Β£4 a go. There’s also a dog-free-zone on the beach which means that zone you can’t put dogs on, yet there’s plenty of space for dogs to run about too. We seen quite a few having fun. Beautiful day to see the sea, beach and surroundings. Plenty to visit whilst there such as: beach shops, Ice cream Parlours, amusements & more.

Breathtaking... whatever I say is not an accurate description of how BEAUTIFUL this place is! I had a great time walking by the beach and seeing a panoramic view of the bay from the cliff. The sky was clear and blue... perfect place. Lots of things to do: make sure you go to the South Bay by the hop on hop off bus and spend some time there. There are also halal restaurants nearby, and the city centre/ railway station is only 15 mins walk from the North Bay Beach. Beware that it's colder here than other places. For e.g., it was 14-16 degrees in Scarborough while it was 22 in Manchester.

Why haven't we visited Scarborough before?? Our first time was brilliant, locals friendly on a busy school holiday weekend, the beach was pretty and sea looked inviting. Had yummy ice creams and visited the local lifeboat shop. The day was filled with leisurely walks up and down the prom reading local history. People were dolphin spotting, having rides on lifeboats, jet skis and speed boats. All reasonably priced. Overall we wished we could have stayed longer, Scarborough we'll be back ❀️

Lovely beach. There's one part if the beach which is near the harbour & amusements but that gets really busy. If you go towards the grand Hotel, it's quieter there but the tide comes in quicker

Lovely place to visit. Nice and clean beach. Loads to do if you have kids, lots of cafes and restaurants to eat & drink. Or it's just nice to go for a walk round with your dogs and have fish & chips then finish off with donuts on your way back to the car.

After 2 years back for a short visit. But I love this place. Many many fond memories. Scarborough has two main seaside bays north and south bay. South bay hosts the main harbour local fishing community. Along with many amusements and food restaurants as well as souvenir shops.

Absolutely stunning beach. Clean white sand and plenty of small unusual pebbles to discover. Dog friendly winter time and not very busy. Spend over 3 hours walking around. Dogs were busy playing with each other and climbing rocks. I’ve been to Whitby many times but not realised that it has huge beach to enjoy. Very well kept, no litter. It also benefit from promenade area where you can escape if caught with high water. Highly recommend.

A lovely walk along the south bay beach. Clean flat sandy beach & easy walking. Dog restrictions in force like on Bridlington south beach. Plenty of cafes, bars & amusement arcades along the promenade.

Scarborough Beach is an awesome place to go if you're looking for a beach getaway. There are plenty of activities such as swimming, sunbathing, and kayaking. The view is breathtaking with rocky beaches and amazing views of the island. The sand is nice and soft, perfect for building sand castles or simply taking naps. The staff at Scarborough Beach are really friendly and helpful. They even offer umbrellas to provide shade during hot days. I highly recommend coming here if you want to enjoy a beautiful day outdoors!

Nice place! But not maintained well. Slippery steps, WC that won’t open even after taking your money πŸ˜… Amazing fish and chips. And handful of rides to enjoy. Nice place for fishing too.
