Great service. Just go when you are hungry because the portions are massive. Has a burger after reading other reviews and wasn't disappointed, the burgers are out of this world. The starters are brilliant. Didn't get around to desserts as we were easy too full. We will definitely be going back. Just been back and couldn't decide between a burger and a pizza, so they made me a cheese burger pizza which will be on their menu next week. It was simply delicious, again make sure you are hungry before going. Pizza burger is now on the menu. This time I tried a normal pizza and that was simply delicious as well. Will be recommending this to all Been here several times now and always a pleasure to eat here.

Sensational food ordered the Mounties platter which was incredible best burger around by far had them both cooked medium cooled to perfection full of flavour. First time I've sat in to eat and definitely better than ordering on takeaway will be back again. Thanks Cowtown grill

This review is aimed at people who are considering eating in at Cowtown Grill. Firstly the good points - the table servers are great, always on hand and helpful. The food is good, not out of this world but still one of the few places where it looks the same as what you see on Instagram etc. Secondly the bad points. The floor inside is like a greasy ice rink, it needs a good clean and makes the place feel grubby. My main gripe however is the constant flow of delivery drivers coming in to collect online orders banging into ourselves and other people eating in. It gives the place a feel of a chicken shop really. I think going forward they need to decide if they are a restaurant or a takeaway and focus on one or the other, because it’s definitely not a place I would recommend at the minute, to anybody thinking of booking for a birthday meal or nice occasion, there are much nicer places in Sale and the surrounding area.

It's been a fairly long time since I was last here, and I'd remembered it being so good that I was starting to second guess myself, if it was really that good. I was looking around even thinking it doesn't look like a high end burger place..... But then the food came, let me tell you you just don't expect something that good to come from a little restaurant on the main road in Sale. First up, presentation is 11/10, I actually haven't had a better looking burger anywhere, the mac n cheese looked perfect, and the fried chicken was perfectly crisp. The burgers are big, really most of them are the size of "challenge" burgers at other restaurants, but yet they aren't a mess, the buns are perfect, the sauces are on point, and the whole thing just holds together great. Everything which is added fits well, the flavour is so on point, and there's no extra stuff just for the sake of it. Meat is totally fresh, burgers are served pink. The owner is there cooking and serving, happy to chat to people. It's got a great home made vibe in the place and it's a real personal feel. I'm sure the menu has changed a fair bit since I was last there so it's nice they keep it fresh. I can't believe I haven't been in so long, I can't wait to go back.

We had dinner here and the food was delicious. The 3 little pigs burger and the salt and pepper poutine were tasty and the shrimp starter was fantastic! Also worth noting, the pecan pie is worth trying

If you are anything like me, you may have scoffed when you heard Sale’s best restaurant is called “Cowtown Grill”. Hold your scoffs. Better yet, muffle them with some of the best grilled beef this side of, well, presumably Canada. This is no mere Canadian Charcoal Pit - this is the real deal. Get an amazing burger. Get a glorious beef hotdog. Get a milkshake so good you only need the vanilla. And if you’ve never tried poutine, this is the poutine to try. (Cheese curds aren’t scary - it’s basically halloumi.) Just don’t get that all on your first trip, because the portions are belt-bustingly huge. Come back later for the rest.

Poor experience from start to finish. Website said 35 minutes for collection then changed to over an hour once we had paid. Ordered the expensive 3 little pigs burger and the meat was cold, not lukewarm, cold. The nachos we ordered were soggy and covered in a layer of gelatinous, congealed cheese which wasn't remotely appetizing. The salad we ordered was clearly not fresh and was yellow around the tips and almost rubbery in texture. It's clear to see by the restaurant's response to any review which is less than 3 stars that they cannot accept responsibility for poor standards and find any excuse to absolve themselves and blame the customer. The fact of the matter is that this simply wasn't good enough and we won't be ordering from there again and certainly won't be recommending the food to anyone.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The burgers were absolutely great and perfect portion sizes! Staff were great and provided us with complementary ice cream!! Highly recommend this place and would come back. Halal options available!!

Cowtown grill was the most impressive joint from our Manchester trip - this spot is a must visit guys! This spot is so easy to pass by because it doesn't look remotely halal but it is! We were all really impressed with the food. There's lots of similar joints in London but none have the level or attention to detail like this imo. From making all their sauces from scratch, they also make their own buns for their burgers! So how was it? Everything, everything was on point! The burger was meaty goodness and brisket was beautiful. The only change I'd make is remove the coleslaw so we can have a pure meat patty. Highly recommend you try this burger! - It was the best burger I had in Manchester! Poutine was the best I've had hands down! Steak was great and cooked perfectly. Even the wings were a hit. Can't fault this spot, if you're in Manchester it's a must try, we loved the level of detail and passion from the guys behind it. Taste a solid 9.5, Quality: 8.8, Value: 8.9

Really really good food. When we were there the waiting-on staff seemed a bit overwhelmed so the service was a bit slow... however, the food is definitely worth waiting for!

I've lived in the area for over 5 years and always passed this place and wished to try it but have never seen anything to say it was halal. Was browsing recently on Instagram and found out that they do have halal options and was dying to try!! We visited with the whole family, spoke to the lovely Canadian owner who told us about himself and his story he explained they had two grills for the food, halal and non halal - lovely people and kind service! With regards to the food. Well, I've been waiting for a place in the sale Altrincham region for halal food like this. I had gotten the buffalo chicken burger, we each got some wings that were divine. We also got some plain wings for the kids they absolutely loved them! My husband got one of the beef burgers (all halal options). It did not disappoint at all. The owner even sent over a sample of Poutine which we loved!! Deffo going to be a regular place for us.

This is a little gem of a restaurant that we found by chance. The food is excellent and the staff are warm and friendly. Whenever I am in Manchester now, I always visit. Be wary of ordering a starter though, you may not finish your main! Easily the best grill restaurant I have had the pleasure of dining at in the UK.

Excellent food, the poutine (Miss Piggy)in particular was fantastic, great burger too and lovely Mac n Cheese. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Lots of choice so we will definitely be back to try some other dishes.

We ordered a meal for the family and ordered by phone. We ordered it for a 6.30 delivery and agreed to pay cash as we had downloaded their menu off the website. We the worked out exactly what we needed so that there no problem once the food was delivered. The food arrived exactly on time at 6.30, and the food was really good but when we came to pay we found out that there was a delivery charge which we didn't know about but were happy to pay but the price of some of the meals varied. When we questioned it we were told that they had updated their prices but the website menu didn't reflect that. Having said that the food was good and delivered on time

Such good food! Best poutine I’ve tried in Manchester Got there at 9pm on Saturday so was really quiet but still jolly with Christmas music on!

loved eating here, had the shrimp tacos and they were really good I haven't found anywhere else doing poutine as good as here either the boneless wings seemed more like chicken strips though still really good. Couldn't fault the service at all either. Well worth eating at for some good comfort food.

If you're a fan of burgers and happen to be in Manchester, I highly recommend checking out this place. The burgers are definitely up there with the best in town - the meat is always juicy and cooked just right, and the toppings are fresh and tasty. What I really appreciate about this spot is that the staff clearly take pride in what they do. They're always working hard to make the burgers even better, and you can tell that they're passionate about their craft. Overall, I think this place is a solid choice for anyone in the mood for a delicious burger. It might not be the fanciest joint in town, but it delivers where it counts - on the plate.

Mrs P and myself visited here today, she said it's the best burger she's ever had (cowtown signiture). I had Mama Rama with salad instead of a bun, now this was stunning also, there was a layer of salad onions tomatoes sauce etc. then the loveliest chicken then layers of salad and sauces on top. The owner is from Canada with some Canadian dishes on the menu which we will definitely return to try. This is a gem of a place can't think of a single fault 👍🇨🇦

Amazing food and service - the poutine is to die for!

Just been to Cowtown Grill sale amazing food great service staff amazing and cakes for anniversary What more can you ask for.

I had the 3 Little Piggys burger. It was top tier and I enjoyed every bite! The thick patty was flavourful and cooked beautifully. Loaded with crispy onion, coleslaw and REALLY tasty pulled pork. The only small negative was that some of the pulled pork was dry and chewy. The sweet potato fries were piping hot and a good size portion. Staff were all great and the place was cosy. I highly recommend a visit and I'm sure to go back in the future!

Had a ribeye steak with garlic butter and peppercorn sauce the ribeye was cook med-rare couldn't fault the steak good but not the best the sauce was runny but alright taste. Friends got the bbq wings which you get about 7 in a portion which is generous most place give 4 or 5 they loved it had the tangey taste. For the mains they got poutine one the big lebowski and the blackened steak special both did like it and found it very filling worth the price.

Who knew the best burgers would be Canadian. Huge portions, the burgers were perfect. Shoestring onion rings freshly fried, burgers were just nicely pink in the middle. Fries were great but I wouldn't add them on next time as just the burger demolished me NB I did double up as I'm a gorb. Service was really nice and friendly and the beer selection was good- had a couple of pints of Sierra Nevada and it tasted very clean. Will definitely return but not too quickly as wouldn't want to cane this place and ruin it for myself.

Ok, but nothing great. I suspect the in restaurant experience would be better than the delivered one. I don't wish to be too harsh in these trying times, but there were some issues. I ordered early for a specific time as the delivery times look to be on the longer side. Perhaps I ordered too early, as some of the food was on the cool side. Delivery was dead on the requested time, but suspect the food had been waiting to make the slot. Burger was nice. Cold chips, less so. Child's pepperoni pizza was too spicy for child, but would have been great for an adult. Adult pizza stone cold.

Bang on! called in for takeout due to T3 and very impressed. Poutine is a great authentic canadian touch, and we got 4 different burgers all of which were in perfect condition when we got them home, looked just like restaurant quality. great veggie options too, friendly staff, covid safe and clearly popular. 10/10

Very nice Canadian style restaurant. Difficult to park, unless you can grab a spot outside on the pavement. Food was delicious but the service wasn't great. (But to be fair it was a little busy). Would advise to book a table via the website to avoid disappointment.

First time visiting yesterday and we were very impressed. The staff were polite and friendly. The food was gorgeous - there were so many things on the menu that we could have chosen. Food came in good time and was piping hot. We will definitely be back!

I rarely do takeaways but I discovered them during lockdown and I've dined here a few times since. They make the tastiest burgers so it was an easy choice when I had a last minute urge for one this week. I had their Signature burger and my pic does not do it justice. So juicy with cheese, mushroom and caramelised onions. Delish! The halloumi fries are so naughty but so good 😋 They do a great poutine too!

*Halal* make sure to tell them .. ordered the Chicken Taco’s and beef burger both tasted amazing no complaints. Defo would go back also customer service very friendly parked on one of the sides road and they do take card payments.

Ordered takeout food (for the family as we are veggies). The feedback was that the burgers were huge and top quality. The milkshakes and fries (which we did have) were delicious. Family were very impressed! It was a little wait but within the time indicated and well worth it for delivered restaurant-quality food.

This lovely restaurants is one of my locals we have dined here couple of times before Covid. Staff are very friendly and helpful.. during the lockdown we’ve ordered twice and both times it’s been absolutely amazing. The burgers are delicious and no one in our area does it this good! 100% recommend.

The food was unbelievable! I was genuinely blown away by the quality! However… just give me a piece of paper with the menu on it, I don’t want to be scanning codes to look at menus. I also didn’t like the light.. what a waste of time and ultimately completely pointless. I was over charged for the buffalo bill burger too unless the menu on the code needs updating.

Cowtown Grill was always our local favourite that feels like home. The bonus - you don't have to cook that amazing food nor wash up afterwards. I am not a burger person, but the Cowtown has converted me. Only for their burgers though.
