Great little old fashioned cinema, even has a half time intermission like the good old days. Order your drinks for the intermission and they are prepared ready for you to pick up. Good prices all round will be going again

I've been to Penistone Paramount a few times now and it's very charming. The flat seating layout is interesting, but the screen is definitely adequately sized for the room. There is always an interval half way through the film. You can order drinks at the two bars before and during the interval - but you can arrange for a drink to be ready when the interval comes. There is ice cream available, too - but from a vendor - and this is cash only, so remember to bring some. The staff are lovely and friendly, the choice of film is limited somewhat, but they have a varied gamut from week to week. I definitely recommend it.

On the other hand, if your ideal cinema experience doesn't involve seating which means a tall person in front of you blocking half of the screen, or a compulsory intermission at an arbitrary halfway point in the film (during which you can join a massive queue for overpriced snacks and drinks), you could maybe go somewhere else.

Love this place. A mix of older and new film releases for half the cost of cinema chains. Still has an interval and also a bar.

Great Cinema, Staff friendly and love the intermission. Only thing is the seats aren't big enough to fit your behind on or comfy unfortunately for the wood armrests:( A seat upgraded much needed

Old fashioned cinema experience with a half time break for ice cream! Good quality screen, online seat booking, really friendly venue. Also they don't rip you off with extortionate prices for snacks! What's not to like?

Good cinema, good place to watch latest films, all at a very good price. Better than some big cinema chains.

Lived near here for over 40 years and this is 1st time I have been. Because I am fairly tall tend not to go to older cinemas because of leg room, but did not have this problem here, plenty of leg room. There is a bar but myself and friends (10 of us) didn't use it. Will definitely go again now.

Went to see Beatles tribute. Excellent view from the balcony. Lovely old theatre. Friendly staff.

We were at The Paramount to see Rock for hero's. A live tribute band supporting our military services men and women. They were amazing. Fantastic vocals and music from a truly magnificent band. The venue and staff are top dollar and it is a little gem. I will be following the venue and the band for more acts and further visits to see Rock For Hero's....

Very well priced good seating has an interval allowing you to purchase ice cream coffee etc. I recommend this venue.

Hello. Would just like ask if you could try keep the place a bit warmer.i came to a show tonight and sat near the gents toilet area it was freezing cold .A cold draft was coming from somewhere and was really cold..lovely staff and great shows.please try sort this out.Thankyou.peter haigh
