I really enjoyed being able to walk around the courtyard and the area around it.

First time here, unfortunately we was disappointed, more expensive and less quality than what we expected, the only positive was the staff, they were friendly and provided good service. The eggs on the breakfasts weren't free range which you'd expect for a place like this. The chips were pale and undercooked, the teacakes were burnt and the hash browns were also pale. We will be back and hoping to see an improvement in food quality as we like the area and the friendly service.

Went for a coffee with a friend and a very charming and unique place to relax. Can sit in or outside. Worth to visit. Affordable price for a coffee

Military museum excellent. Wasps were out of control around cafe and outdoor eating area posing a serious risk to health, the wasp nests were in the rafters of the building and should have been removed before allowing the public access to the facilities. One shop was closed, the gallery was not open, it seemed the courtyard was unprepared for the influx of visitors during the summer season. The remaining outlets that were open offered expensive, uninspiring goods for sale. Very disappointed, the courtyard seems to have lost its previous individuality. Hope they deal with the wasp issue before they open up the new wedding venue.

Great walk in the grounds and a coffee, surprised we have not been here more times. Excellent value £3 to park up ( all day)

This place is amazing. £3 for all day parking is great. It never feels busy here, even when the car park is full and the overflow car park is in use. I think this is because there is so much space for everyone to spread out - great during the pandemic! The café is lovely. Nice clean toilets. The kids loved the war museum. They had the vintage fair on last time we went and the kids really enjoyed the rides. There was also a miniature steam train for the kids to have a ride on. We really like to go and have a paddle in the stream which is so clear. This has become one of my favourite local places to take the family and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Was a lovely day in the garden at Brodsworth. The laburnum tunnel in the picture framing the Hall was all in yellow flowers well worth the visit.

A beautiful courtyard in over 1,000 acres of Thoresby Park. Several good shops, a cafe and an extremely interesting military museum.

Visited this beautiful place as my sons had booked a segway experience and this was one of the venues offered. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful plus well maintained and clean. In the courtyard is a lovely cafe, toilets, craft shops and museum. Will definitely return.

I was a little bit disappointed to see just one tank but all next is excellent. Nice people and really nice small shops. Thank you.

Had some tri training here. The lake was beautiful though not usually open to swimmers. Stunning scenery, cafe menu looked good though slightly pricey. Cappucino I had was fine. £3 parking for the day. Clean facilities.

Victoria's gallery showing was fabulous, the courtyard is so quaint and a unique wedding venue. What a hidden gem of a place. I'd love to do a wedding there.

Shops & Glass blowing Workshops inside the courtyard Nice cafe. Nice grassed areas to walk nearby. Access to woodland . Lovely old mansion House. Somewhat expensive parking if you drive in to it. But lots of free parking outside if you want to have a short ( or long) woodland walk. Often have events on in the yard as well. Penny farthing races & 'wartime spirit'events to name just 2. Well maintained paths, tables & benches & clean grass areas to picnic if you want to. Also includes free access to a military history museum of The Queens Royal Lancers. Well worth a visit .

Enjoyed my visit. After a nice walk around the park. Settled here for a nice coffee in the courtyard. There's a conqueror mark 2 tank just outside, if you're a tank fan, plus a few gift shops. Nice afternoon out

A large field was closed off for a private car show. The walled garden was closed. There was minimal food on the menu. Such a disappointment as this was my first visit. There were no adequate sign where to park only a small notice saying to get out you would need to get a token from the visitors centre. People were all asking each other how to get out and if they had parked in the right place. Everything was very confusing 😕

Had I nice little (1 sausage, 1 egg, 2 bacon, beans and 2 hash brown) brekky here, all good but not cheap £10 for this plus a coffee. Tables are inside or out in the square, so even outside there is protection from the wind. Nice place. Marked down only on value for money.

Another fabulous local beauty spot. I am really reviewing Thoresby park as a whole rather than just the cafe (I am not reviewing the hotel). Thoresby park/cafe can be a odd place in that its not always super obvious what to do when you get there. Its a large open space with good easily accessed parking and a mid sized childrens play area, on the face if it you could be forgiven for thinking that's it and feel dissapointed. In actual fact walk further and explore more and you find many more delightful spots. In the courtyard you find great food, wedding facilities, shops, museum etc all in a very picturesque setting. The grounds are expansive with room to spread out and not annoy others. There are bridges over a lovely stream that is fabulous to play in during the hot weather. What Thoresby is particularly good at is hosting events. The car show is well known and well managed (apart from when they tried to hold a music event on the same day and had messed up the entrance exit strategies for the first few hours) there are vintage fairs, music events, outdoor theatre kids shows etc something for everyone throughout the year. Generally well worth a look and a visit.

Love visiting this place. Nice cafe to have a drink outside in the courtyard with some great little shops, art gallery and even a military museum all within picturesque grounds to walk around. Always an enjoyable experience.
