I have just visited the place. It has so much to offer, beautiful furniture, great prices and more. However, I was absolutely appalled by the way the lady in charge/owner (very short, blonde curly hair, glasses, I believe her name is Kath) treated her lovely staff. She was patronising, used raised voice which echoed in the whole place. Her manner of talking to her staff was very derogative. She introduced very nervous atmosphere. Witnessing it made me and other customers very uncomfortable and so sorry for the staff members. It's surprising that this day and age some people still think they behave like that towards employees and get away with it. Shameful.

Always a bargain if you look hard enough and know value. The staff are very helpful and will reserve items you specifically want. They also give away freebies by the door and also run a fantastic food bank which I sponsored this year knowing they make a huge difference and help everyone.

We went there today and they were superb, the lady with lovely red hair (that's the colour I want my wife's) was amazingly funny. The staff are knowledgeable and extremely welcoming, even when my wife knocked over all of the ironing boards ( I wanted to run away and hide) they were lovely. All I can say is thank you very much for not making my wife feel any worse than she did❤️❤️

The staff here are so friendly and always welcoming. Whether it is a phone call or you are popping in they are always willing to help. The selection of items on sale is amazing and with really good prices. The best part is they deliver, even to the Bedford area (for a charge of course 😜) Thank you for the great service

Yet again the staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. Preen do so much to support vulnerable people in Biggleswade and nearby towns and villages we are lucky to have them x

Looking after the community, cannot praise their dedication enough! visit intermittently, so far only been on the donating & enjoy-a-bargain side, but no-one knows when one may need their foodbank (or other) services !!

We are moving house soon, and so over the last 4 weeks We have donated four huge carloads to Preen, all good, clean, perfectly re-usable stuff. Today, I went to Preen with another car load. The entry door had a closed sign on it, but the donations door was open, so I backed up and started to unload on top of other stuff already there. A very rude lady burst out, pointing at the entry door and said ‘Can’t you see we’re closed?’ I apologised & explained that the donations door was open….she asked what I’d left, and started loading it back in my car! She told me to take it to the nearby dump or come back tomorrow! We’ll, that’s the last time I donate to Preen, around the corner the ladies in the Willow Foundation shop couldn’t have been more helpful, assisted me unloading the car, told me the stuff was lovely, completed a Gift-aid form with me - I will be back - goodbye rude Preen your loss!

This is a great find - a very large space with everything you could think of: furniture, clothes, decor, media, etc. I found a lovely art deco mirror and two glass bowls browsing around. Well worth a look if you're a vintage or 2nd hand enthusiast.
