Chose the Buddha Bowl and was not disappointed. Great portion size, great flavours and would recommend. First time I’ve visited this restaurant but will be returning soon.

Delicious soup and friendly staff. However I did feel uncomfortable seeing an older woman (presumably the owner) glaring at the staff then proceeding to talk on at customers. Maybe it's nothing, but it was something I observed.

This is the best place for lunch in Kendal! Delicious, fresh food with an amazing choice of tasty salads. I'm a veggie and opted for the Buddha bowl, but they also cater for meat eaters (my niece had the pulled pork ciabatta). The cakes all looked delicious too! Great staff & efficient service made the experience even better. It's all done very right here & I can't wait to come back.

we love the food here, but with 4 of us sitting down between 2 little tables knowing we'd be ordering coffee and food and needed the space for it, and then being told to move onto just the one little table when the rest of the cafe was near enough empty, was a bit awkward. One of us deliberately didn't order any food because there wouldnt be enough space for it, we only just about fit 4 coffees and 3 plates on the table and that's with moving the cutlery bucket and condiments onto another table. I get you'd want to fit as many people in as you can because it does get busy quickly but when we're on a table so small we don't physically have room to order as much as we wanted, it's off putting. The one of us that didn't eat was pretty upset by this so it's likely we won't be back again which is a real shame because this is one of our favourite places in Kendal

We had a delicious lunch in this vegetarian restaurant. A very wide selection of dishes on offer. Very nice coffee and desserts. Staff very friendly and helpful service was great also, would definitely go back.

The soup and salads we had were delicious, well worth traveling to Kendal for. Everything is clearly freshly made, with great thought to ingredients. Fab for veggies too. Will definitely come again.

A badly kept secret that everyone should know about! My partner is vegetarian and it's so hard to have lots of choices, but this ticks it all!! All of the food is delishous and we will definitely be going back first chance we get

The food here is some of the best I have eaten in the UK. I so wish this restaurant was open where I live. I really feel you would love forever if you ate here every day as it’s healthy and delicious. Thank you for such a lovely treat x

The food in this place was mind-blowingly excellent. I've never known salads to have such a variety of tastes, flavours and textures. I wish they had a recipe book for their meals because I would love to eat these meals day in and day out 😋

Great choice of tasty vegetarian food. We're not vegetarian but do enjoy something different and this fitted the bill. A bit costly but we realised that there was enough for two meals and the staff were very happy to put the left overs in doggy bags for a tasty takeaway. Coffee was very good- a flat white was as it should be, small but perfectly formed. If ever in Kendal again shall certainly return.

Very friendly and polite staff, however the food was a bit disappointing given the good reviews I read before eating here. Tried falafel wrap, which wasn't good at all, and there wasn't a good variety of salads to choose from. The goat's cheese quiche was good though.

Food was outstanding. We had quiche and salad, both were amazing. The choices of various salad options and being able to have 3 different ones included was brilliant. Had so much flavour all at once! Such a hidden gem, will definitely go again. Service was super efficient and polite too!

Great place to eat in or takeout both for savouries and cakes. Good coffee as well.

Food was very nice, lots of options and the Buddha Bowl in particular was very good. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quick bite to eat that will fill you up.

Absolutely amazing vegan and vegetarian food and really friendly and helpful staff. Eat in or take away. Sometimes a bit of a wait, but it's worth it!

Nice food, however can't recommend for groups larger than three to eat in. We were squashed on a table that didn't have enough space for our plates & drinks. Previous customers before us pushed two tables together for the same reason but we weren't allowed to do the same. So overall an uncomfortable experience.

Really busy when we went, due to other cafe's closing because of bad weather. Despite being at full capacity the food was delicious and you can tell time and care had been taken in its preparation. Vegan options were delicious!

Stopped here for a quick lunch and were so impressed - the menu is massive and everything was made fresh. I am allergic to dairy and there were so many options for me. The staff were very helpful and it was the best meal we had eaten in a long time!

It’s not very often that my partner gets as many vegan choices from the menu as me as a meat eater and it didn’t disappoint, great flavour, presentation and good portions. Excellent value for money and friendly service, possibly the best lunch we’ve had out together! Thank you!

Love this place. Every time we come to the lakes we always call in here. Had a lovely lunch here today. Staff are trained well being polite friendly and efficient. The service is quick never having to wait long even when they are queuing outside. Thank you for catering for vegetarians with lovely healthy choices. Lynn

Hidden away but well worth routing out. Fantastic healthy food. Tasty buddha bowl with pulled pork, great choice of salads. Quick service. We will definitely make this a regular stop off point.

What a lucky find. Really tasty food. Salad combos that I had never imagined,were all delicious. Portions were big. My Cuban sandwich was huge and really enjoyable. The staff are happy in there workplace . This place is hidden down an alley but well worth searching out.

Nice and affordable choices of several dishes including sandwiches that are really nice and good looking and the salad comes with it. You'll have to pay extra to sit inside and there will be a queue on a busy and sunny day.
