We
had
an
fabulous
dining
experience
here.
The
dinner
tasting
menu
was
very
well
thought-out,
cohesive
and
very
tasty.
The
Old
Stamp
House
Restaurant
prides
themselves
in
using
locally
sourced
ingredients
and
it
shows
in
the
menu.
As
the
dinner
went
on,
each
course
just
kept
getting
better
and
better.
The
mushroom
course
was
very
inventive
and
flavourful.
The
turbot
was
well
cooked
and
the
sauce
complimented
the
fish
well.
The
main
lamb
course
was
very
delicious,
a
real
standout.
The
desserts
courses
were
all
very
well
done.
Service
was
very
attentive.
Overall,
I
am
very
happy
with
the
dining
experience
here
and
the
restaurant
definitely
deserves
the
one
Michelin
star.
For
less
than
£100,
the
10-course
tasting
menu
is
an
excellent
value
for
money.
If
you
are
looking
for
a
fine
dining
experience,
Lake
District
does
offer
several
options
but
The
Old
Stamp
House
should
be
among
the
top
of
your
list.
