Beautiful location, we sat upstairs with a view over the bay. Ordered on the app using the QR code, so easy. Impressed that they offer a variety of plant-based milks for drinks. Lovely food, hot and good portion sizes. One of us received an incorrect dish which was rectified straightaway. Well worth a visit and we will come here again.

Beware, this place has gone seriously downhill..! I’ve eaten there numerous times over the years, and the great views remain, of course, but the rest of the experience was sadly lacking. Went there for lunch yesterday, lovely sunny day, expecting it to be busy, but only 2 tables occupied upstairs, out of 20-odd. It soon became clear why. No printed menus on offer, so had to follow other diners and take photo of wall menu back to table. Then it’s back downstairs to order and pay, even though there were 3 staff members standing around with apparently nothing much to do. And their prices have gone silly - £11 for a small piece of battered cod, then £3 extra for chips, then another £1.50 for peas..!! So a very ordinary fish and chips comes to £15.50 - much worse value than in recent years. Then it’s find your own cutlery (not very well washed), and gather condiments in those awful little sachets which, once emptied, blow all over the balcony in the slightest breeze. The food came on awful, flimsy, cardboard plates, and the drinks in the flimsiest of plastic cups, the sides of which cave in as you pick them up to drink. And to add insult to injury, we found we had been charged 40p for 2 “glasses” of tap water..! Is that even legal..? Needless to say, we shan’t be returning, at least not until someone gets hold of the place and restores it to its past standards.

Good place for a coffee, they also do food, but it was too early for us to eat. We saw lots of diners tucking in to breakfast, lovely view of the sea watching the boats going in and out of the harbour. update Apr 2023: beautiful location overlooking the sea. Great friendly service.

A great place to take your pooch and sit on the bench tables outside. The view is delightful, the atmosphere is very chilled and the beer is rather tasty too. From the town, the stroll along the harbour is lovely.

Recently refurbished to a high standard, good service, lovely food and wonderful views. Best hot chocolates in the area and excellent milkshakes for those with a sweet tooth. Worth a visit when in Brixham if you’re looking for somewhere relaxed and with a sea view.

My partner had a lovely frothy cappuccino and I had a kinder hot chocolate. Both came with a lotus biscuit and were so lovely. Then we shared a portion of loaded cheesy chips with bacon. Freshly made and piping hot, so delicious we couldn't wait for them to cool. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. I struggle with my mobility and they said we can use one of the tables downstairs. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience. We also got to see a small pod of dolphins to top this off.

Lovely food, lovely staff, great atmosphere, perfect views! And even better - they can do gluten free which is suitable for coeliacs! We always come down for a drink after a walk, now we can come for dinner too!

A lovely place to eat for any occasion, our compliments to the chef and all the staff, food was awesome and staff friendly and helpful, excellent service. The location is perfect looking out across the English Channel, surrendering to beautiful views across Brixham Harbour over to Tor Bay. We will definitely be returning 🌻

Fantastic place for lunch. Sausage and chips for my little man and mussels for me. Went down a treat. Really nice view as always from upstairs over the bay.

Visited a few weeks ago. The meal was that good we booked to go again later in the week! Homemade soup was amazing and adored the lemon sole. Loved having a sea view whilst we ate our dinner. Fabulous restaurant and value for money. Highly recommend

Lovely cafe/restaurant. We had the crab sandwich and cheese and chutney sandwich with chips and it was amazing.. Lovely setting on a very small beach with great views over the English Riviera. Definitely recommend anyone to come here. And a handy car park next to it. We came in October, so the car park was not really busy

Well, what a wonderful evening. Congratulations to the new owners and staff. The new interior is fresh and comfortable, service friendly, lovely views of the bay and the food is fabulous. So happy to be able to dine inside again. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful meal at the best restaurant in Brixham. Thank you and see you again soon!

Coffee was tepid. Cake was pure sugar. Older staff were pleasant waiting staff very aloof.

Had a latte and a brownie, which was nice. Sat upstairs and enjoyed the view over the beach.

Popped in for hot drinks and after looking at the breakfast menu decided to go with the small breakfast. We were really impressed with the quality of the food and the range of gluten free options. Service was excellent from start to finish. Will be back again.

I have been so sorry when I heard this place is sold. We have been several times this place and we loved it. Now a bit changed but the staff very polite and friendly and the food was good.

The food absolutely blew us away. Jordan served us with complete professionalism, was really friendly, and answered all the questions we had. The view is also a really nice look over the bay. Parking is paid but not too expensive. Food is on the slightly pricier side, but the portion size and quality make it well worth it. We sat in to eat, but they also offered takeaway. We will 100% be back, massively recommended.

Went having spotted great pics of shell fish on Google but hadn’t spotted they’re several years old. Mixed sea platter was small prawns, two rolls of smoke salmon and a spoon of crab meat and seems to have made me …unwell. Little to no service. Fine as a beach kiosk but not a bistro and really poor value.

Love this café! Great breakfast options. Coffee was a good balance, had an extra shot as I prefer coffee this way. They have a beach bar and ice creams, take away food too. Beautiful views across the bay. Even when the weather is rough it's a great spot. Also it's possible to see seals on the very close beach here. Nice spot for a quick swim next to the car park. Close to berry head , so it's easy to get onto the coastal path from here. Level walk into Brixham town centre from here too. Keep up the good work guys.

Nice views and fantastic location, but that’s about it. The food and coffee is exceptionally average, especially compared to the excellent options elsewhere in Brixham.

Nice location, fairly quick service. Food was great but rather expensive, but it was quality produce and guess that's UK beaches and Torquay pricing for you. Small carpark next to property, pay and display. Also public WC next door, which you put coins in to access. No fault to owners but where you get sauces, suger, vinegar, salt was a mess and no hand sanitisation point where you have to touch this stuff..

We had a lunch today with the most amazing View of fishing boats coming into the harbour to unload their catch

I'm a local biker and there's nothing better than arriving with a couple of friends to share a coffee or a beer with while looking out over the sea watching the fishing boats come and go as the sun starts to set. Always friendly staff. Great place for a family refreshments

Been to Brixham a few times while on holiday in Torquay but on our last visit we walked round past the jetty for the 1st time and found this little gem of a place. Right on a lovely beach with a great view of the bay. Very nice staff and I had really nice fish and chips followed by a coffee a cake. I Could've easily sat there all day. Will definitely go back on our next visit.

Visited family and stopped here on the evening for fish and chips by the beach. It was one of our holiday highlights. Beautiful location, food was cooked fresh albeit a little wait it was definitely worth it. A live band was on which really added to the atmosphere.
