My first visit to the Studios. I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent bar and well organised queuing made the night with The Mersey Beatles a great night out. Now a regular...great place for gigs, especially if you prefer to sit and enjoy the performance. Now a regular but a surprise tonight. No seating, just a large standing area. Kris Barras Band were amazing.

Nice space for live band, sound system was ok as were the lights, £3.50 for a bottle of water a bit on the steep side,

Has to be one of the best music venues in Norwich now. Been to a few events and now been disappointed. Good parking close by. Nice long well staffed bar so never have to queue for long. Good acoustics makes for a great experience whoever you're seeing. Last band I saw even mentioned how better Epic was compared to the waterfront.

Such a wide variety of events here. Something for everyone and good sound and facilities. However you will need deep pockets if you are thirsty. Ask for tap water or pay £3.50 for a 500ml bottle of water #justsaying

Did a Bottomless Brunch today (23/9/23) at Epic Studios. Wow, out of the whole experience, I’ve got to credit the lighting guy (baseball cap right at the back) for the ‘epic’ party lighting. Could see he was right into the moment and it showed. Really really fantastically executed. These live venues all NEED a guy like him!!

Been to plenty of places around the country to watch gigs and have to say this is the best small to medium sized venue I've been to. No, it's not an architectural masterpiece like a lot of the old venues but what it does mean is...... A well laid out room with a high enough stage that you get a good view from anywhere with no pesky pillars getting on the way, we were there on a sold out night (approx 900) and around the periphery there was plenty of room so that you didn't feel like you'd been jammed in a sardine can and could move around freely. Likewise the place is clearly well ventilated so you didn't get in a sweaty mess (though I appreciate some like this...🤷🏼‍♂️) and you always felt there was fresh air to breathe. Bar runs the whole length of one side of the venue and is exceptionally well staffed, I never waited more than a couple of minutes for a drink and generally was served immediately. Prices for alcohol were reasonable in the current climate though I would argue that bottled water was on the expensive side. Toilets were clean and tidy (a bit bigger would be nice but you can say that about anywhere). But the big clincher for me and the one reason music fans should go to this place is the sound quality, we watched 3 bands over 3 hours (headlined by Skindred) and each one of them sounded superb. Loud enough to be enjoyed but with no distortion or feedback it's possibly the first gig I've ever been to in 30 odd years where my ears didn't ring afterwards. Whoever set the soundstage/pa up in this place deserves a pat on the back and should be used as a template for other venues. Best sounding venue I've ever been to and as good a reason to travel all the way to Norwich!

I'd never heard of Epic Studios in Norwich, but I'm glad I discovered them. They're a studio area for broadcasting but also double as an events venue. I discovered that Alexander O'Neal was appearing there on a night as part of his 'Goodbye' tour. I bought the tickets as an early birthday gift for my husband. Unfortunately, due to a technical problem with my email, I lost the saved email, which held the e-tickets. I emailed asking if it was possible to have the tickets reissued, which they very kindly did. The venue itself is as the description; it's a studio. There's a stage at one end and a bar down the edge of the space. Prices were great; 2 bottles of Peroni and a can of Red Bull was £14.50. I have mobility issues and was worried as we entered as there are a lot of stairs up to studio level. They kindly took me to the lift. There is very little seating; this is a venue for dancing! There were long benches along the back and one side for those who didn't feel they could stand for the entire evening. Overall, the venue is great, with helpful and friendly staff. With an increasing number of groups and artists, including them on their tour venue list, I'd recommend you give it a go if you get the chance. Date of experience: 13 October 2023

Saw Obituary. A decent sized venue. The sound was a bit muddy for the first support act, but cleared up quickly for the second band and was perfect for the main act. Couldn't tell you about the bar or booze prices as I don't drink. Over all a decent place to hold a gig.

Large space and wide stage, so it's easy to get a decent view. £6.60 gor a Guinness is a bit of a rip off, that's London prices!

We went for bongos bingo and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its a massive space and a great atmosphere.. only thing I think could be better is more toilets for the ladies, with such a high capacity 10 toilets is not enough and to ensure the bar floor not sticky ! It was sticky at the beginning of the night at the bar.

I like Epic, it's a decent sized venue so you can usually get a good view. If one wanted to gripe access to the bar is crowded and on this visit I gave up. Also getting to and from the arena are to the toilets tends to be congested especially due to the location of the cloakroom. I must say the sound always tends to be spot on.

Enjoyed the venue, and the table service app means that lots of previous reviews that mention the amount of time it takes to get served at the bar. However, whilst there last night did see one of the security team get right in a woman's face, leaving her in tears afterwards. I couldn't tell you what the woman had done, and we'd been sat in the table next to her all night. The whole exchange was deeply uncomfortable to witness and both inflammatory and unnecessarily aggressive on the part of the security guy. I spoke with the man in charge of the security team at the time, who was both respectful and apologetic, so I don't think the man I saw is representative of the whole team there hence still giving 4 stars.

We went to see the ELO Encounter. They were brilliant, the events organised well. There were unallocated seats to watch the event. The bar is inside, so you can watch the the performance from the bar area.

Not a helpful company at all. For a surprise my partner and I bought tickets for the same event. And within a few days I contacted the events manager to enquire what I could do. No support at all, told that I should sell the tickets as it is a popular event. Other venues in Norwich would offer a refund, credit or transfer of tickets to another event to keep your custom. Not helpful at all. The venue was also a joke during the world cup where I took part in a charity event and Epic kicked everyone out saying that we can come back in once everyone else goes in first. During mid December when it was - 5, not really fair, sensible, not a very well organised establishment or a personable touch at all.

Attended hard rock gig by Skid Row. This venue has a good set up, there were around 800 people and it was well managed with good security & doir staff plus excellent bar service. Sound and lighting was also very good.

Went to see Clearwater Creedence Revival. A great night out. They read my QR code on my phone, then escorted me to the lift as I use a wheelchair. The supporting act came on at 8 and played for 45 minutes, the main act was on until just after 10. The band were excellent and we got close to the stage. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will go again certainly.

Fantastic entertainment venue in Norwich, I go there for the WAW wrestling TV Tapings, check their website to see when it's on next. Very helpful staff.

Great venue, the show was great but I don't get why there's an upstairs bar when you get told to go downstairs for a drink, one way system into the venue is chaotic at the end of the event when those who can't handle the drink stampede down the stairs, Paul Smith was great though
