😠 Olive medical centre receptionist are probably the rudest and dishonest people. Very rude and also only care about there own family and friends.     Olive medical centre receptionist are probably the rudest and dishonest people. Very rude and also only care about there own family and friends. They have very good doctors but the receptionist need a lot of training. Atleast be honest with patients with regards to appointments and also getting feedback. It's not fair on the doctors when you have an unprofessional team working at the front desk.

    This is the worst surgery I have ever come across. No one bothers to answer the phone when you ring. I requested repeat prescriptions and its been three days now, no one has looked at my request so far. Never been able to make an appointment to see a doctor. AVOID THIS SURGERY if you need decent service.

    Do not even bother joining this practice, says they open at 8am however the lines are disconnected, You stay on the phone till 8.30 and then they say all the appointments have gone, really makes me wonder how that makes sense. Never any appointments and staff are not helpful at all, not even for a call back from the doctor, you're better off googling your symptoms at this rate and even that's more reliable than these lot.

    For two days in a row, I waited in queue for call for over an hour multiple times and they don't pick up. Avoid this place at all costs, you could be dying and they don't care about anything but gossiping and loitering between themselves, incompetent receptionists/staff. NHS needs to do an immediate checkup on this place.

    Terrible service. I'm writing this on behalf of my severely asthmatic mother who must stay on the phone for well over an hour just to request to see a GP. Aside from that they make it incredibly difficult for you to complain. Notice the only contact is by phone so they hope you will give up. No contact email address. Appalling and shameful - You have a duty of care to your patients Olive Medical Practice, and you are letting them all down by ignoring these reviews. I have no doubt you may have staff who genuinely care but your ignorance and silence about the issues your patients have been complaining about for years is deafening! You are letting your few genuine staff down badly.

    Rang up on Thursday for a appointment, no appointments said will get a callback from doctor, waiting all day no callback, then rang up 8am the next day finely after 20 mins of trying got through and put in a 20min que at the end of that,no appointments. I said a never got a callback yesterday neither, they said doctor was busy we can make a appointment in 3 days if you want ridiculous, are all doctors like this ,I really hope not. Have to ring 111.

    Im registering elsewhere because you never get to see a doctor. You've got to ring between certain hours if you want a prescription. The receptionists are inadequately trained. One will give you completely different information to another. Ive spoke to a doctor who also said the nurses need more training but theres no training procedure in place. How ridiculous. Had enough of this surgery. Wouldn't recommend at all. Had nothing but problems.

    If I could give this GP Surgery a minus star, then I most definitely would. I have rang this GP Practice eight times in the last two days (have my call log as evidence), and I have completed two online enquiry forms (texts as proof). I first rang this GP in November when I was unwell (I sadly can’t recall how many times I rang them but I remember it took me 5 hours to get through to someone) - A lady answered the call (who spoke to me VERY rudely may I add) and told me that she had booked me in for a phone call consultation… she also said that if I didn’t receive a call, then I had to call the following day at 8am to try and get another appointment. Ridiculous, I know. Did a doctor end up ringing me? No. Yesterday I rang the GP 5 times and waited 2 hours to get through to someone… I finally spoke to a young gentleman at 2.35pm and obviously there were no appointments available at this time. The gentleman told me to fill out the online enquiry form at 6am the following day or to call back at 8am - I filled out the online enquiry form twice and awaited for the GP to contact me via a phone call or text. I received one phone call from a receptionist at 3.49pm which I missed. I called back straight away at 3.51pm and a further two times until I got through to a receptionist at 5.45pm - I was waiting 15 minutes despite being number one in the queue. A lady call Humayra answered my call and spoke to me very rudely, she lied to me and said that the doctor tried calling me once and that the receptionists had tried calling me twice. I told her that the text I received from the surgery was of no value and the doctor had not even bothered to respond to my symptoms and enquiry with any guidance… she told me to ring back again at 8am the following day for an appointment. A never ending cycle of constantly having to ring this surgery to chase up concerns with no action taken by the receptionists or the doctors. I have no idea what the practice do with their money because they really do not care about their patients. I have no idea how they are rated ‘Good’ by CQC - an absolute joke. If you’re working as a receptionist or a doctor/nurse in healthcare, your main priority SHOULD be your patients. Your patients should always come first and this surgery needs to start learning how to treat us with care and respect. You shouldn’t work in healthcare if you’re just doing your job for the money - patients should be valued. This surgery has been run in an appalling, disgusting, and inhumane manner for many years now - soon this surgery will have no choice but to shut down.

    Although the whole world is aware corona virus vaccination was a gov depopulation scam in breach of the nuremberg code the receptionist at this surgery are still handing out masks and expecting you to wear them.twear them. They fail to pass a message to the doctor even if its an emergency. No manners no respect disgusting patient care.

    Been ringing since Monday it is Thursday now and keep getting told to ring earlier for a appointment but they don’t answer for 1-2 hours when I ring at 8:30 and even then are still saying they are fully booked. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WILL BE LEAVING THIS PRACTICE AS OF TODAY

    You are in a queue for ever. Every time I ring I am clean shaven by the time some one answers I got a full beard. Joking a side this is a major problem .

    Spent hours on phone after speaking with 111 yet they refused to give a appointment this is always the case with this surgery.The wait time is 1 hr before you can speak to someone and even then they are rude all the receptionist do is natter all day long and not answer you can see this if you pop in during the day.They never pass messages to doctors and the doctors at this surgery are all locum doctors so your never dealing with one doctor pathetic service disgusting how this place is still open close it down or get better practitioners and management in.

    Very disappointed with the running of this surgery. Received an appointment by text, when l arrived waited in a queue outside. Receptionist told me l didn't have an appointment, it's an automated message that l should ignore !!

    Having been a critic in the past it is only fair and right to share updated views. Farida & Other Personnel............ Due to various conditions including being high risk from Covid-19, I have had to rely on the surgery so often. The service provided has been excellent ranging from the General Practitioners due diligence on various symptoms/guidance/care to the warm support from the Reception staff. I have been very satisfied with the amount of time provided to assist on different matters raised. To that end, it has been excellent to see the co-ordination between the Surgery and Royal Blackburn Hospital. I know how much support I have required this year already and will require for remainder of the year and beyond. The processes have been flawless. One has to be pleasant in manners first so others can reciprocate - any walk of life. I myself have seen personal attacks on the Reception staff by waiting patients who probably should know better as per their religion too. Or I would go as far as saying how many may not be able to talk in a nice manner via phone medium or show patience when in the queuing system for an appointment. Its not the fault of the Reception staff if the man/woman in the neighbourhood will not be bothered to attempt self-diagnosis for something minor, use pharmacist staff for something slightly greater, and only then approach the Surgery. There is parking facility nearby for short duration which serves the purpose. It is nothing to do with the Surgery but the Council operating a permit system on adjacent residential streets. Plenty of parking facilities in adjacent areas for a few quid - mindset of freebies on everything is the problem. Reading the various negative comments being bombarded by others - may be self-reflection required first of when one did receive excellent service and your problem/diagnosis was resolved did you put yourself out by calling the surgery again to pass on a thanks back or just take, take, & take policy. We should count our blessings we still have a Surgery on our doorstep especially in these unprecedented times! I know already from the Surgery I will get a flu vaccination even through delivery isn't expected until late October 2020. May be I got that news on the off chance when enquiring about something else as a blessing because of attempt to be pleasant on the phone. Thank you folks.....I would not want to be in your shoes and doing your jobs so hats off for what you do and what you put up with too.

    The nurse was completely fine and very lovely however my appointment was at 15:00 and I waited till 15:45. I got up to tell the receptionist agaon of how late it was and they then told the nurse I was here. 45 minutes late

    Very rude practice manager who seem to be referring to their staff as doctors when they are not. When I specifically questioned this the practice manager put the phone down. They seem to be okay with dealing with people in a rude unprofessional manner. Someone in authority needs to get hold of this.

    This is by far the worst surgery in Blackburn for appointments If you call early in the morning... you can be 12th in a queue and can be waiting 45min at a time if the phone doesn't hang up on you that is When they finally pick the phone up You will get a phone call a appointment a week later Absolutely shocking 😳

    Awful place. Not managed very well, forget to complete the most simplest of tasks. Unfortunately still stuck with them because of family members. I switched 10 years ago to a different GP and they switched me back without my consent this led GP manager to call me and apologise for the mistake but it was intentional.

    Staff are kind and attentive. The only downside is that their phones are forever busy, I've tried calling several times but no luck. In times like this they need more phone lines especially when we can't come in straight away.

    Health is more important, they don't care about your health not give appointment if book said doctor will ring you been 4 times no one ring don't think they have any doctors in GP, then staff said we done our job not our mistake doctors not available so cant do any thing, book child appointment with nurse when in the surgery they said nurse not in or been cancelled waste of time, Then they said you can change your surgery we have no problem very bad service Don't waste your time they not going to deal you this surgery will close as they playing patients health, change the surgery no other option.

    My mum and dad are quite ill we need medication all the time and appointments we know the surgery is busy but they have never said no to us whenever we need anything we have no issues with them everyone one I spoke to says it is hard to get through to the surgery

    Just one staff (evening) at the reception don't know name shes totally cluless (mental block) Shes printing wrong thing from computer and missing guiding... then says.. " DO YOU WANT ME TO REPEAT AGAIN " IF DONT KNOW YOUR JOB DONT BE THERE !
