After putting me through a procedure that didn't work, I was sent to the ealing branch for an assessment and a surgical procedure only to be refused. I'm still pregnant and feeling like hell! I feel worse than ever and no one cares. I waited for over 2 hours to be seen by a nurse, I was hungry and felt like fainting. What a place, it's a lesson, I'll always remember to take my contraception pills every day without fail :(

I visited the clinic this morning with my partner and everyone there is very welcoming and friendly at the front reception. I just want to say Thank you soo much to Teesha who went above and beyond to help us, very friendly and has time for everyone she’s a star and is a great asset to the clinic for making us feel comfortable throughout our time there opening doors, offering water, and even helped my partner walk to the car. Little things like that make a big difference and I don’t usually leave reviews but I just had to. Teesha thank you soo much for your warm generosity we need more people like you and most of all never stop being you.

My experience with Marie stopes, was the greatest experience i have ever had on a hospital / clinic. From the first email to booking, counseling, consultation and appointment, i was NEVER belitteled, frowned upon or treated badly, i felt welcome and everyone treated me with respect and with a smile on their face. My appointment was smooth and painless, even when i showed up 1½ hours ahead of time, they just had me come in earlier with no problem. And i was in and out in 1 hour, procedure was only about 10-15 minutes, nurse and doctor was lovely and talkative. I would absolutely recommend Marie Stopes to anyone thinking of temporary or permanent birth control.

Honestly, made an uncomfortable experience so much easier. The nurses and midwives were amazing & so caring. The theatre staff explained everything thoroughly and introduced themselves to make me feel at ease. No stigma, no judgement. Felt very safe under their care

The nurse was amazing and explained everything in detail and seemed like she genuinely cared with a non judgmental attitude and had understanding at the same time. However Friday 10th September 2021 at around 3ish pm the receptionist (light skin black women) screamed at me for bringing my daughter when I was just collecting medication!!! Like it's already sensitive have some companion and empathy ! Someone should have explained the rules as some people need to arrange baby sitters all I was doing is COLLECTING AND WAITING OUTSIDE ,MAKING A FORMAL COMPLAINT!

Rang to confirm my appt, the rude receptionist couldnt wait to get me off the phone and told me if I was even 1 minute late, my appt would be cancelled. I got here early, and have now been waiting for 1 hr past my appt time. Asked receptionist how much longer I need to wait for childcare reasons, and she rolled her eyes and said it's just the way it is, they're late and nothing can be done. This is an absolute joke!

I can’t even describe how awful this place is, if you can go literally anywhere else, I would advise you do. First off, the medical staff are all amazing and the kindest people you could hope to meet, from the nurses to the doctors, all comforting and just really put me at ease. However, the reception staff will make your experience unbearable due to their lack of professionalism and generally administrative incompetence. Somebody, unsure who, just didn’t book me a slot for the procedure I was in for. Therefore, I was waiting for two hours before being seen at all and when I asked how long it would be, I was just told to sit back down like a naughty child. Furthermore, having not eaten for 14 hours, I was sat in the waiting room where the receptionist was loudly complaining about how humid it is. How do you think patients feel who are dehydrated and feeling sick? My boyfriend was also subjected to an extremely rude receptionist rolling her eyes at him when he asked where the bathroom is. This was also really tough for him as well, and that is totally unacceptable. I will be making a formal complaint but just want to advise any women publicly to just…. Not go here.

The most caring and wonderful service. The midwives went far and beyond to make sure all my queries were answered and my worries laid to rest and even checked my contraception was in the right place, although my appointment was for something else. My treatment was painless and done with so much care and skill, I knew I was in good, capable hands. Thank you! I shall be recommending to anyone who will listen :)

Staff where all really kind to me, made me feel comfortable after panicking for hours before coming in, after I received treatment with them I called 4 times during the day and night since I was having a really hard time with the pain and wanted to make sure everything was still alright, every time I called they where lovely, thank you so much xx

Nurse christine at Brixton clinic was amazing I will give her 5* ,the only reason I give 3* is the fact that you have to come for consultation even tho most of it was done over the phone then go back again another day for the procedure, this was quite hard work considering that I was coming from far other then that *****

Every single member of staff in this branch is amazing and compassionate and caring. Receptionists, the doctors midwives and nurses Izzy Alisha Paris and some others too that helped me and made me feel comfortable even when I was shaky and weak after the sedative thank you thank you

Absolutely ridiculous. The address given sent me to the wrong address, meaning I was 20 minutes late for my appointment. The receptionist refused to see me and was incredibly rude about it. Never received worse treatment in my life, especially in an already awful situation. Shocked.

Recently i had the upsetting experience of taking my daughter to have a termination. The admin staff are truly amazing, caring, compassionate, professional people. Not only to my daughter but also to me. The nursing staff also in turn were truly amazing. I realise you all do a difficult job and deal with sensitive issues but i would like to say thank you all for everything your staff did. Hugs and reassurance at this difficult time was just what my daughter needed. Please thank Michaela, Martha and all your staff. Sorry i cant remember everyones names.

Incredible kindness and sensitivity from this wonderful service assisting people in difficult times. Izzy was so reassuring. Felt emotional about the wonderful jobs all the women at this clinic were doing. Could not have had a better experience. Appointment was at 11 we were out by ten past. So efficient. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you do an amazing and important job.

Very helpful, professional and compassionate. All the team was great: receptionists, midwife dahlia, nurses and doctors. Felt safe; in good hands and well taken care of. I would highly recommend as they really made a difficult experience smoother and endurable. Thank you all

The ladies at reception could not have been more helpful or lovely, they were so caring and helpful! The nurses were also really kind and considerate. Made a not great situation so much better, such a great team thank you all!

Travelled 1hr30mins for a scheduled appointment which had already been cancelled once at another clinic. Was told on arrival that the nurse was late and as such they were running over 2hrs behind. I'd taken a half day off work for this and couldn't wait. They could've just given a courtesy call to save the journey, time, money and annual leave.

They ‘couldn’t’ make my second appointment for me while I was having my scan. So I’ve been calling every chance I get in between work and classes but have never got through to make the actual appointment for my abortion as every time I call I am on hold for 3 hours

Had a coil put in in October... to then find out in their day it was properly placed I. There and it’s expelled up into my body .. I’m so angry kisses iff they ruined not only my insides but mentally I’m nimble and don’t want to be here thank you for your rubbish service let’s hope you don’t kill someone next time with your botched contraception job

I had an abortion here yesterday and I can't explain how lovely the staff were. I was suffering with Hypermesis and I felt awful the entire time. The staff saw me much earlier and the receptionist made sure I was seen earlier and they were so accommodating to my needs for my health. They made me feel so welcome and unjudged. If for whatever reason I ever needed these services again, these would be the best people. They even gave me a nice hot drink and biscuits after. And in the surgery room they made me so relaxed and asked me questions to help soothe my nerves . Really lovely people, thank you so so much

Not one to normally write reviews but I have to for this place.. Couldn’t have felt more comfortable and looked after. The receptionist was so kind and friendly and my nurse Georgia was amazing made me feel incredibly comfortable but put all of my worries at ease. I felt very well looked after. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience as I was very nervous before! Thank you!!!

THE WORST. went in today, very unfriendly, the receptionist was rude to my boyfriend and the nurse made me feel very uncomfortable. Talking with attitude, not professional AT ALL, and very insensitive.
