Lovely place and fish crawling up your lines almost literally as so highly stocked. If you want a bend in your rod every cast then you will enjoy this place but if you want more of a challenge go elsewhere. Great for a mixed bag especially if using maggots but have to say most of the carp I had did have poor conditioned fins especially the dorsals. Good facilities onsite and overall a good days fishing but maybe too overstocked

Superb Carp angling in the warmer months and excellent Roach, Ide and Skimmer Bream angling on cooler days. Very helpful owners and staff. Shop has all your tackle and bait requirements. A top class fishery - can't go wrong !

Best fishery in the north east! On its day, the fishing is outstanding! Pristine carp in well kept, well maintained surroundings! As long as you follow their simple rules, you'll enjoy a great days fishing!

Fished bowes lake today. I had seven carp the biggest around 5lb. All were in excellent condition as always got a good fight from all of them. I would recommend this fishery to anyone. Excellent fishing quality stock and reasonably priced Well done to Anne and Arthur

Probably one of the best commercial fisheries in the UK. If you like getting your string pulled then this is definitely the place to go. Good on sight shop as well.

I took a pony here for friends and although I live locally u had never been in the livery yard. Now I can say I have it is lovely very neat and tidy horses were beautiful well maintained . Guy was lovely. We exited via the private lake. All in all the whole property was really nice

Great place to fish despite bad weather and cold night and North wind and snow showers our match was won with 70 pounds and every one caught

Not fished the place was looking for some where local to fish during my trips to Sunderland. Very strict rules around fish care but yet have multiple pictures of people standing with fish on there website and Facebook they might be kids and women this is not an excuse for lack of fish care. Must have coaching if your a beginner but yet you advertise standing with fish, very questionable.

Fishing is fantastic lovely scenic lakes with easy access to pegs fisheries is well run and staff were pleasant and knowlegable will definitely be back soon

Cracking days fishing very helpful people in the on site shop with what bait to use and what methods to use ,on site shop has everything you need also toilets and not to far to walk from your cars to your pegs .

First time here, my husband took our 'fishing' obsessed grandsons and they are totally 'hooked'. They will be back at every opportunity! The whole set up is stunning, and the amount of fish in the lakes is amazing. 👏👏👏

Fished a half day from 1pm peg 40 on Bowes with pellet waggler across to far side with 8mm pellets and pole top 3 in the margin with 8mm bandet pellet feeding 4mm for a total of 114 carp it was absolutely stuffed. Fish a chuck guaranteed.Brilliant fishery

One rod good enough. Well stocked and caught many. 1lb, 2lb, 4lb and 6lb good fighting carp. Ann owner spends good time with new anglers, especially with young children or parents how to fish. First time expensive must have 2* bait pellets and mat to land fish that's another £15 on top.
