This place is great we attended last week 2 adults a 16 year old and a 9 year we went on the aqua park and it was fantastic. The equipment is fresh and new and doesnโ€™t have that damp smell that you can get if you have hired wetsuits or life jackets before. The jump into the lake to start the activity is great. When we attended there was 30 people on the Aqua park and this was just right number. We used the cafe after and the food is lovely also what was refreshing is they donโ€™t bleed you dry and over charge for things. Would be good to have lockers to put your things but the car boot always does. Look forward to returning in the future.

We went for my Son and grandaughters birthdays. A family group aged from 15-56 and everyone had a fantastic time. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The cafe was very clean with polite staff. All facilities were well maintained and clean. Safety was paramount, which was shown in the way the staff took control, cared about the way equipment fitted and explained safety procedures. This certainly helps to make the whole experience enjoyable. Thank you for a fantastic day, we'll be back.๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ

We tried Kayaking here and had a great time. Make sure to get there earlier than your appointment time as you have to fit into a wetsuit and listen to a safety brief. We were out on the water in no time and have a great time! The staff were friendly and the safety brief was short enough! My only tips would be be sure to take some talc with you to squeeze into your wetsuit & take a waterproof bag to put your car keys in because there's no where to keep them once you're in the wet suit. Overall a great place with tonnes to do for all ages!

Really enjoyed ourselves. We'll set up and great place for all the family. Lakes and surrounding area is a haven for wildlife while keeping all the humans happy too. Cafe is great and food lovely. Changing facilities, toilets and showers are well kept. Zip wire over the lake is fab. Wake board was enjoyed by the kids and the obstacle courses on the lakes were challenging and so much fun. Paddle board and kayaking was wonderful and the lake is massive. Camp site was full but we enjoyed it. Facilities new with a few gremlins, but quickly sorted by management. Woul definitely go again.

Well what a hidden jem! Amazing place, we booked paddle boarding for 1 then Warrior for 3:30, this gave us just enough time to snack and use toilet. Cannot go in cafe in wetsuits, but prices reasonable. Wetsuits and safety gear in with price. We purchased socks too, online unsure of sizes but they were happy to get correct size. 5-6 medium, 7-8 large. ยฃ2 to store car key in an envelope, no lockers but can leave everything in car. Well worth it. Will definitely return. All staff friendly and parking is free! We even purchased 2 paddle boards before we left. Will definitely return. Would like to see lockers and more changing areas otherwise brill and still developing. Well done NY aqua park x

What a fantastic day out with friends and family. Plenty of parking upon arrival after a lovely entry through the sweeping roads, paired with a well signposted roadway made for a nice arrival on a stunning day! We had a picnic when we arrived but there is food available on site. It didnโ€™t look too pricey at all and looked great from what other people had. Toilets and changing facilities were all really clean and hygienic, even after anticipating a foistโ€™y smell, which was a bonus! Wetsuits and safety gear was all provided to ensure a comfortable and safe experience. We elected to do the โ€œwarriorโ€ course which certainly delighted. Despite causing near death and whiplash on many occasions (all my fault no claims here). 1000000% would recommend and 10000000% would go again!

Today we enjoyed a walk around the Water Park's main lake. The first thing we noticed is that they have been very busy over lockdown. New Wakeboarding and reception, they are in the process of completing a new cafe which has bi-fold doors opening onto an outdoor seating area facing the lake, a play area for the childrenand a new toilet block. A great place to come and try the water activities, go for an open water swim, fishing or a stroll around the lake.

Attended today. Took a group of 25 sea cadets and staff. We booked a group package and did 3 different activities. They all had an amazing time. We have attended previously and will continue to attend yearly. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The onsite icecream van is so nice. Was made feel very welcome by Gareth and Charlie. Cadets are Already planning and looking forward to out return next year

We went as a family for the 'aqua parc' climbing equipment. It was well organised, well laid out with friendly staff. Changing room were nice and clean, as were the toilets. The wet suit, life jacket and helmet provided fitted well and were nice and clean. We had a ball! Had so much fun that we did not want to come out when time was up. Enjoyed a nice coffee, beer and ice cream after.

Absolutely loved the Aqua Park so much fun and suitable for all ages. All equipment felt good quality and kept you warm and safe while in the water. My only complaint would be the condition of some of the changing rooms, the one we used had a massive hole in the wall and was need of some TLC. Overall a really good day out for people of all ages and would certainly go back for different activites.

Reasonably priced, plenty of space (we did stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking, both sessions were fully booked, but it didn't feel at all crowded). Rang twice with queries and the staff were really helpful.

Had a great time here. We did the Aquapark at 10am and there was about 30 folk on it. Had a great time. The water was chilly as you would expect at 10am but once you jumped in you soon got used to it. Had the wet suit anyway so it was fine! Was 3 adults and took my 6 year old boy who loved it. Itโ€™s very physical so be prepared for a tiring hour! Haha

Just had an amazing birthday party for my 11 year old. The team were great both the aqua park wet side and also the cafe, all really friendly and helpful. Really great service. The Aqua park itself is awesome, would totally recommend it to anyone who likes water, obstacle courses and having fun.

Absolutely brilliant place, but book early. Spaces fill up quickly and I can see why. Visited as a family ranging from 73 to 13 and everyone had a fab time. My 72 year old mum and I did the Lake wild swimming whilst the kids aged 16 and 13 had a brilliant time on the warrior water course.

Great for a day out. The family went on and did a few other things, while we took the dog for a walk. Food in the cafe, very good.

What a great place! Lots to do for all ages, we went on a bike ride around the perimeter of the lake then went on splash kingdom which is for the little ones, we then had hot chocolate in the cafe! The changing facilities were great with showers on site and you can also hire paddle boards and kayaks. Well worth a visit.

We came for Parkrun, A great welcome by the smiling Marshall we were directed to the car park and readied ourselves for our run in the puddle strewn track, great fun. Lovely coffee afterwards

Been here twice now to do paddle boarding and both times weโ€™ve been called in 10/15 minutes before the hour we paid for so not worth the money for paddle boarding but Iโ€™m sure the inflatables and other things are worth going for. Itโ€™s a good set up too and a lovely lake and staff are friendly.

Great day out. The kid's and myself loved it. The warrior course is really good and the high jump into the water is daunting the first time you try it. The food at the cafe is really nice too.

A fabulous day out. Great venue, good food, amazing staff, very clean and very well organised. Completely doggy friendly- with doggy swimming area and doggy ice cream on sale in the cafe where dogs are welcome too. We arrived with 2 boys - 14 &15 year old, the done the zip line and the Warrior Aqua Park course, they both had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed their day. We all had lunch in the cafe and found it to be very reasonably priced considering they have a captive audience. Would 100% recommend this place ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ

ideal for an introduction to outdoor watersports, safe environment for both children and adults, all on one site. Hire or bring your own wetsuit, paddle board or kayak. Great fun for all... even dogs can enjoy a walk around the lakes.

Good to see the water park open again offering a range of activities while following distancing guidance. We tried stand up paddle boarding this time & had a really fun time, my two girls (11 & 14) loved it. We'll be back again soon for a go at kayaking.

Pleasant place for a stroll. Didn't use the water sports but looked to be plenty of activities and an on site cafe.

Visited Fri 28th August'20 horrible weather wind n rain but best of British we did our best as it was not cancelled the kids lasted about 20 mins and that was because the wind n rain kept pushing us back out to middle of lake. Didn't bank on getting changed in the disabled toilets as no changing rooms were open and there was no showers available also so we just took off wet suits put a towel round us n ran to car. I know covid is still here but it would have being nice to have being notified about the lack of facilities. On a better day I have no doubt that we would all have had a blast as we have visited the inflatable part of it before . ...bit of shame really. Will try it again next year when hopefully everything is up n running correctly!
