My family. Wife, Daughter, Son in Law Cliff and my two Grandsons, stayed in the Cottage from 6th to 9th of August. Immaculate accommodation. I can only describe the Fishing area as "Amazing". Regular visits from Mike. The owner and Dave, the Bailiff. Giving me and my Son in Law, tips and where to fish. A remote Fishing Boat is a must. Drops your Bait and Hook link and Weight exactly where you Pin Point on the Underwater Sonar gives you! Take plenty of Bait with you. Eating out. Real good food can be found 10 minutes away. In a Nut Shell. This is the best Fishing Holiday I've ever had. Thank You Cherry Lakes.

Writing this on the last night of my 3 night stay at cherry lake cottage. What a stunning place! The lake looks beautiful and the swim is really well presented with large a wood chip area for your bivvy and a artificial grass area for your pod. No mud!! I haven't caught yet, but 2 really nice looking fish have been caught over the weekend. Stunning fish! As for the cottage, it couldn't of been better. It feels really homely and warm. 3 big bedrooms, 2 big bathrooms, loads of space, and the log fire after being in the hottub is just great. Really clean and well maintained. No problems with anything at all. The family who own the place seem really nice and give you full privacy. But Mike is always there if you need him for any advice. Would 100% come here again.

My family and I have stayed at Cherry Lakes many times and have never been disappointed. The fishing on all of the lakes is exceptional. I have caught my two largest carp to date from here. The hospitality from Mike, Judith and Dave is always fantastic. Their advice is invaluable and much appreciated. The lodges are without exception, immaculate, warm and comfortable. I hope to have many more enjoyable trips to Cherry Lakes.

We have been going to Cherry Lakes for the last 6 years,in that time we have stayed in every one of the lodges and the cottage.all were of 5 star standard. During this time Dave has caught over 30 carp over 20 lb and 3 over 30 lb,on our visit this year he is hoping for the 40lb plus. Judith ,Mike and Dave are perfect hosts making you feel very welcome, Cherry Lakes is the perfect holiday for a complete relaxing getaway.

This was our second visit to Cherry lakes this year and it didn’t disappoint. Judith and Mike are the perfect hosts, very friendly and really do make you feel that you have made new friends, Dave the bailiff is very knowledgeable about the lake and you should listen to what he has to say. We have stayed in Heron lodge, Grebe lodge and the Cottage and all are home from home. The setting is just perfect, the site is secure and really peaceful. We have caught around 15 carp ranging from 19.02 to 35.8. Two of the carp caught this time were 29.14 and 29.10. All we’re in perfect condition and some of the most stunning fish we have ever caught. This is one of the things we love about Cherry Lakes, Mike really does care about the carp, yes it’s a business but the care that Mike puts into the lake and the carp you cannot fault. We have already booked for next year and will definitely be one of Mikes and Judith’s regular visitors. Teri & Lee.

Fished 3-6th March - a last minute booking Had 4 carp from 13lb - 21.08lb & a 14lb pike Accommodation was spotless with all the necessities. Staff were all helpful & friendly Will be returning in warmer months!

My 2nd trip to cherrylakes , fished cherrymere. The lodge, pochard lodge, was very comfortable, clean and has everything you need for the week. The fishing was great, had 6 fish from 14lb up to 27lb 9oz. Mike, Judith and Dave are the loveliest people and always around if you need anything.

Had a fantastic week staying in the Heron Lodge on Cherry Lake. The lodge was very clean and comfortable, very nicely decorated and well equipped, and the place was so relaxing and peaceful. Mike and Judith together with bailiff Dave are very friendly and we want to thank you all for our wonderful holiday, nothing was too much trouble for them. The weather was beautiful so the fish were not feeding much but still managed to catch 3, biggest was 28lb 4oz, we will be back here again to have a chance at catching a bigger fish. Highly recommended.

My wife and I have just spent 4 lovely days at Cherry lakes,Couldn't fault the place. The lodges are spotless and surroundings are Amazing. Dave the bailiff very pleasant and informative. Mike the owner came to see us ,again lovely chap very helpful. Mike is a avid carp angler himself so rightly cares for the great stock of fish in the lakes,so make sure you read and understand all the rules etc. Caught 3 carp to 28lb,and my wife Claire caught some nice roach and perch on the float. Definitely recommend cherry lakes ,we can't wait to return hopefully next year. 10/10

Had a fantastic week staying in the cottage on Cherry Lake. The fishing was superb with eleven fish caught, five of which were over 30lb, the largest was 37lb. The whole complex is very well maintained and just a lovely peaceful place to be. The Cottage itself is very clean and comfortable, very nicely decorated and well equipped. The owners Mike and Judith together with bailiff Dave are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble as they go out of their way to ensure you have a great holiday. Overall highly recommended for a fishing/family holiday. 👍👍
