First visit and really enjoyed my food there, will call again when next in the area. 2nd visit here and wasn't disappointed. Best Thai food around with great friendly service and large servings.

Our 4th visit to Baan Thai visiting family up here the last few years. Gets better each time & tonight was excellent with amazing quality of food. Friendly welcome & well looked after by Mark during the night. Thank you for a great experience :-)

First time here last night for date night. It was beautiful, the manager was so helpful. We ordered a bottle of prosecco which was £20, but unfortunately they had ran out. So the manager Jane honoured the ordered matching it with 4 smaller bottles of prosecco which were meant to £32 for the 4, and only charged us £20. We haven't had thai before so needed a hand with the menu and there was plenty of advice from all the staff and recommendations. We ordered the steamed sea bass which takes a LONG time to cook so if you order it be prepared for a wait, but its absolutely worth the wait one of the best things we have ever tasted. Full meal was gorgeous! We will definitely be coming back regularly, slightly shocked this place is in Hartlepool 🤣

First time in tonight. Friendly and helpful. Had John Smith's on which is a beer at least so although that would lose a star in a pub, here it was a bonus. Starters were Chicken Satay and Spring rolls. I found the spring rolls very average and the chicken satay was better but not exceptional. My main was Chicken in Black Bean Sauce which when mixed with rice and noodles was absolutely amazing. The Noodle side dish was probably my favourite thing as it was absolutely delicious with loads of flavour. Rice was ok but seemed more like a boiled than a fried, but it worked with the meals. Helen had Chicken Massaman which was deliciously tasty but lacked a little substance as it was very runny and had a lack of vegetables in it. Overall very good meal and I would certainly look forward to going again, whilst not being standout in every department. Having been back a few times and now having a clearer picture of which meals I like, we absolutely look forward to going here for a meal as it is absolutely amazing food and really friendly helpful staff. Recommended without reservation!

This has been by far the best thai food I’ve had. Service is great as well. I rarely leave review but I’d definitely recommend.

Went here last night . Service was very slow . We had to ask where our drinks were 10 mins after we ordered them (there were 4 tables !) and when the food arrived my partners tasted ‘off’ (it was a chicken green curry). When I went to pay the credit card machine wasn’t working so I had to go and get cash out of atm. Won’t ever be back - I did get 15% off the inedible meal though !!!

We had takeout from here tonight. The beef dish was wrong, the chicken dish thin and watery. Both dishes like warm. We are usually big fans but won't be using them again.
