Discovered this restaurant quite unexpectedly and I'm glad I did. The food was cooked fresh and tasted great. The chef/owner was quite friendly and accommodating to our needs as well. It's a small restaurant with only 2 people working, so the wait time might be longer unless you plan ahead as it is quite popular. But that does add to the homely atmosphere! Would totally make the trip up from Oxford for this again.

A small Indian restaurant tucked away in The Crown Walk. Despite the size, the food was something to talk about. All made fresh to order, with obvious care taken to ensure that each bite tastes as good as the last. Can't recommend the Naan enough, it's incredibly soft and light, and a great addition to any curry you order. And the lovely lady who owns the place has such a great attitude towards her customer service and the food she prepares. Definitely going to recommend to friends and family, and will be back to try the Onion Bhaji.

Usually when I go out, I look for places for tasty food as well as quality one. In this restaurant we got both and with that we got good quantity as well and mostly you feel like home. Everyone is very friendly, very patience and they were very kind to us. Totally love the food but missed to try mango lassi, if anyone is visiting I would suggest u to try 🥭 lassi because I have seen so many people trying that and enjoying it.

Went in and ordered a takeaway tonight. We have travelled a fair few times to India and my wife isn't easily pleased with Indian Takeaways in UK. Result?... Fab! The food was delicious. Reminded us of the homecooked food we had in India. The two ladies ( 1 from Mumbai/1 from New Delhi) were friendly, humorous and certainly provided service with a smile. Very reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back 👏👏

On a rainy day in Bicester, we were very hungry and cold. We searched on Google and found this small yet cozy Indian restaurant in a mall. The lady was very friendly and the herbal ginger tea she served us warmed us up immediately. We felt at home. The food she made was awesome. It’s the best food we had since we arrived Bicester. Great food and great service. It’s definitely a value for money choice! Highly recommended

Today is a Christmas day. There weren't restaurant except this restaurant. So was very lucky I've found this restaurant. Only one staff's here but absolutely fantastic service and food however a bit slow. Quite cheap about 24 pounds for 2 people. The dishes made us full. Especially ginger milk tea was very good for me. I'm Thai but when I ordered medium spicy, It's quite spicy for me. I reccomend you order less spicy is better.

We had the greatest experience here. The food was amazing, this was my husband's first time having Indian food and I'm sure it changed his life. The atmosphere is great, and the owner is amazing. She makes all the food from scratch and you can taste the love and effort in every dish. We have fallen in love with the place, the people and the food and will be coming back.

Recommended by a family member - great hosts Chrissy and Aman. Food was fresh, tasted so amazing. Whatever we wanted they could do. You can even hook your own music up to their Alexa if you wanted to hear other music. Gave us some shots to wish us a Merry Xmas. Brilliant service and tasty food. Will definitely be coming back for more. Thanks 🎄🌈❤️

MIRCH MASALA The food was too delicious. We ordered Butter Masala Paneer, Dal Makhani, Jeera Rice, Garlic Naan, Butter Naan, Stuffed Paratha. All the dishes were mouthwatering & their taste was too good. Srishti Aunty (Owner) she is very kind & the best thing is she is the chef of the restaurant as well. Totally worth it to eat proper Real Indian Dishes. Definitely we'll visit soon 😊 & yes we hope you will open the branch in Aylesbury as well 😁👍🏻

Simply brilliant. Want to eat home cooked or dhaba like food in bicester, this is the place. Host loves to chat which adds charm to the place. We ordered chana masala and kadhai paneer along with garlic naan and mango lassi. Each and every dish was fabulous!

Small restaurant with nice atmosphere, helpful staff, and most importantly a great taste of freshly prepared food. For the children the lamb rogan josh turned out to be a bit spicy, which was friendly compensated with a free drink as a not needed apology. The chef made sure everything was to our wishes.

Our first visit to the restaurant and there’s no doubt in my mind we’ll return. The food was fantastic and certainly a huge step above the typical. Service was fantastic, with the host (owner I think) being incredibly authentic she’s charmed us entirely with her passion and kindness. A great evening meal. Thank you!

Simply the best curry we’ve had in many many years. Home cooked with beautiful flavour. No excessive grease like you get with some curry’s, tasted and felt very healthy. Small restaurant with very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

We came across this restaurant during our most recent visit to Bicester village. We went in because of the excellent reviews. It is a very small space with limited seating, and ambience is not great, but we were met with very friendly smiles and kind words. We went in with a toddler; they didn’t have a chair for the child, but we were happy to adjust. The dishes were served in white ikea plates, which was not very appealing. I would highly suggest you upgrade your crockery. Everything apart, the food served there was soo good. It was the best chicken tikka masala I’ve ever had!! The fish masala was too mild for us, but good. The chicken 65 starter was really good too! We waited a long time for our meal to arrive, but the chef herself came out to apologise to each table. The whole place could do with an uplift, but the service is great, and the food is excellent! I will definitely go back for more! Thank you!

Beautiful food and very friendly chef/owners. We particularly loved the plain dosa, saag paneer and the chicken karahi (sp?) (It’s not actually on the menu... yet!)

I had lunch there today-meat curry, rice and two paratha and massala tea.The service was very good as was the food, authentic Indian home cooked style food. I expected to pay about £8-£9 for what I had eaten. When I was charged £17 for my lunch I was shocked and very disappointed ! I had not expected to pay nearly £20 for lunch ! Be very aware of the high cost of this restaurant.
