Goodman's
welcomes
you
with
warm,
friendly
staff
and
starts
your
experience
right
with
top-notch
cocktails,
allowing
a
seamless
transition
from
bar
to
table.
The
Miraval
Rosé
was
a
delightful
find,
making
Goodman's
the
first
to
serve
our
current
favorite.
Starters
were
a
high
note,
especially
the
tempura
prawns,
leading
to
high
expectations
for
the
main
course.
We
chose
the
UK
ribeye
and
the
Japanese
Wagyu.
While
the
ribeye
was
a
tender
and
flavorful
delight,
the
Wagyu
fell
short,
leading
us
to
express
our
disappointment.
The
host
attempted
a
resolution,
offering
alternatives,
but
timing
had
our
meals
cooling,
so
we
settled
on
finishing
the
ribeye.
They
did
end
offering
some
extra
drinks
and
coming
some
other
bits.
Desserts
brought
the
experience
back
up
with
a
delectable
cheesecake
and
sorbet.

We
aimed
for
a
stellar
steak
experience,
and
given
Goodman’s
high
ratings,
the
unmet
expectations
were
a
letdown,
impacting
the
overall
experience
and
necessitating
a
reconsideration
of
its
reputed
standing.
As
you
can
see
from
the
photos
we
left
most
of
the
wagyu.
