Totally professional from start to finish. Dee at reception set the stage with a warm and friendly greeting as I walked in. She was pleasant and kind. She went over my appointment and reason for being there. My wait time to see the nurse was very little. Lee came out to greet me and showed me into the room. She was warm, friendly and professional and had a nice smile. She showed a genuine concern, listened and paid attention to my situation. She conducted my test quickly and had me on my way in a timely manner. Upon leaving Dee was there to greet me with her friendly, upbeat manner and had me on my way in a timely fashion. There was a slight problem with the payment machine, but nothing major and she handled it well. My entire visit to GP Matters was a professional and welcoming experience. I would highly recommend GP Matters to anyone. Both Dee and Lee were wonderful and should be commended for a job well done from start to finish. Mark Gilman

Excellent staff and office setup especially Dr Carole’s office where she see her patients. Very accommodating. I was late for my appointment due to heavy traffic and my medical exam was scheduled. I almost missed my appointment and next appointment was few week apart. This exam was very important. Dr Carole graciously took my exam and treated me so well. All other staff were very friendly. Certainly I would give this GP a five star and would recommend for a caring Doctor at GP Matters!!!!!

Amazing!! Where do i start with Carol she is just outstanding I've been going to her for nearly 10 years for my botox. I take 3 buses in then 3 buses back to see her she is that good, in the 10 years of going I've only ever needed a tiny top up once. I call her my Fairy Godmother ✨️ she's a beautiful soul, soo talented, welcoming & friendly. Nothing is too much for her she goes above & beyond for all her clients. I would give 10 stars if I could. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my face. I had botox a few times before with other people before thank God I met Carol & they only lasted 3 months with Carol I can get 5/6 months out of it & only need it twice a year. If your nervous she will put you at ease straight away she just has such a calming & caring aura with her. Very professional & best in the world 🌎 Thank you my precious Fairy Godmother 🧚‍♀️

Great service at GP matters for my ENG1 medical. Booked via email and online. Reminders sent in good time for appointment times and dates. Dealt with efficiently and all completed within 40 minutes. Will use again.

That was of a great experience I had this morning for my Qatar Gas medical from the reception to doctor. Especially the Nurse Caroline made me really comfortable for all the tests and all went smooth. They have various range of occupational medical tests. I would highly recommend this place. Very efficient practice with appointments available very quickly. Dr McAllister is professional, friendly and very thorough in recalling the detail of previous appointments, so offers continuity as well as the sense of being recognised as an individual. Treatments undertaken have been very successful. Reception staff are all very friendly and helpful, so it’s a pleasant experience being treated here. I can definitely recommend.

I had a great experience at the gp matters office today. The receptionists were warm and welcoming. The building itself was very tidy and clean. I felt comfortable from the moment I stepped foot inside the building. The appointment itself was on time and the gp, Carole, was very lovely, she explained everything that was going to happen and explained the results very clearly. I would not hesitate to book another appointment here again.

Fantastic service, I could not have asked for a better! My Saudi visa medical was arranged at very short notice (next day) over the Christmas/ new year time frame everything was performed very efficiently with friendly helpful staff from the Receptionist through to Doctor McAlister & Daniel the clinic manager. The clinic is very accessible, close to the Hillhead Subway station which was incredibly helpful if using trains and buses for transport in the Glasgow area. The clinic was very proactive emailing medical results & making arrangements to ensure I was able to get original medical results as soon as possible to help apply for my visa with the shortest available time frame, there is also a handy post office directly across the road!

Amazing experience, Dr McAlister sat down and took the time to listen me. Had the Treatment for my migraines that day, went back for a top up 2 weeks later and can happily say no more migraine. Best thing I have ever done. Thank you so much.

Second time of visiting. Appointment started right on time, brisk, businesslike, but friendly. Had all of my records from last visit so saved time and paperwork. Did all the necessary - pee, eyesight, hearing, blood pressure, and the all important Chester Step. Nice and quickly, but didn't feel anything was missed out. Would recommend for GWO/OGUK medical.

Managed to fit me in for a next day OGUK medical which was appreciated. Parking easier than I expected for the West End. Reception Staff friendly and helpful. Lee, practice nurse, was extremely easy to chat to and very professional throughout. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Worth going just to look at the ceilings in the building. Beautiful place.

This was my second time visiting GP Matters for an OGUK medical. Daniel was very helpful in arranging a last minute appointment late on Friday afternoon when I first contacted the clinic out of hours. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lee completed my medical and was very thorough and professional. I would highly recommend GP matter, and look forward to completing my refresher next time.

I cannot recommend this practice enough. From the moment you step foot in the door you are well taken care of. The practice itself is beautifully presented, the receptionists are welcoming and make it very easy for you to book an appointment. Above all else, Dr McAlister is a fantastic General Practitioner and a wonderful Aesthetic doctor.

We used the office for our COVID Travel testing needs returning to the United States. The office team helped find a time that worked for the family and provided easy to follow electronic communication. The office is bright, airy, and the office team, which also spoke Spanish (a nice plus), was a pleasure to deal with. The Clinic staff made us feel welcome and promptly met with us on schedule. FYI - GP Matters is right next to the Botanical Gardens, which makes the medical office visit a perfect opportunity to see some of the beauty that Glasgow has to offer.

Awful service. I wish I could put zero stars. I attempted to make an appointment and the practice manager basically told me I couldn't. I simply got an email telling me the closing dates despite not asking for them or trying to get an appointment whilst they were closed. I requested the next available appointment and the email I received first stated that they could not provide a prescription without a face-to-face appointment (!?) - which is what I was asking for. Simply awful service. Would NOT recommend contacting them for anything. ***I can see a response from the business, that once again doesn’t appear to address the issue I had. I did not ask for an appointment on a specific day. I requested ‘the next available’ - unless the business is fully booked until the end of time, their response once again makes no sense.

Attended GP Matters for OGUK - Offshore Medical. Easy booking process. Friendly reception and Lee was very welcoming and professional. No lengthy forms to complete. Price is good, given hard copy of certificate and also sent electronic copy. Would highly recommend this practice.

I have used GP Matters for my OGUK Medical twice, most recently a few days ago. The staff are friendly, professional and thorough when carrying out the medical. I will certainly use them again and also recommend to colleagues in the future.

Highly recommended! I was in Glasgow for a couple of months without UK insurance and fell ill. I was able to book an appointment for later the same day, was welcomed by friendly office staff and seen promptly by the doctor. She is an excellent listener, explained her recommendation clearly, and we finished quickly although I never felt rushed. It's not cheap but all the fees are posted on the web site and everyone I saw or interacted with was professional, friendly, and efficient. And the meds were effective. If I need a doctor in Glasgow again, I will come back here.

Easy to find, lovely spacious, clean and welcoming clinic and all the staff I met were really courteous, professional and friendly. I'll be looking to continue using them for my professional medicals in the future. If you are in the central belt of Scotland I can't think why you'd travel further afield to use anybody else.

Quite disappointed really. A few months ago now I turned up to my consultation and it all felt quite rushed, it took less than 5 minutes and that was £80 which I was happy to pay but not for something so short, this was the most brief and perfunctory chat I've had with any doctor. I returned one week after and Dr McAlister didn't recognise me until a good few minutes into our follow up chat which left a bitter taste. I thought going to a private GP I'd build a rapport with my doctor, and that they'd be concerned about my health issues but I got none of that having had better experiences with doctors in the past. Dr McAlister made a point to mention multiple times that she wouldn't charge me an extra consultation fee when I got my bloodwork done like she was doing me a favour, but considering I just paid £80 for a 5 minute chat where I felt unheard this wasn't much of a consolation. Upon reading the reviews I thought this would be the ideal GP, but unfortunately I felt I hadn't made any sort of personal connection which was what I was looking for. I won't be recommending this clinic to anyone.

After checking prices with several clinics GP Matters has one of the most competitive prices of all. Also their service was exceptional. Very clean clinic, and good management.

Faultless service throughout. The Practice Manager is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He sits at the front desk and so makes himself very approachable from the outset. He is complimented by the most personable and welcoming reception colleague you could ever hope to find. The nurses I met were also very friendly and added to the relaxed yet efficient atmosphere. Dr. McAlister was punctual and had a lovely manner that gave me the upmost confidence. She took time to ask questions and get to know my lifestyle. Also, importantly she did not perform any unnecessary treatments/procedures and as a result kept costs to a minimum. My tests results were provided quickly and in a clear, easy to understand way.

I used GP matter to assist with the medical process for a Kuwait visa. From initial contact they arranged the appointment within 24 hours as well as the chest xray at a nearby hospital. Very friendly and efficient staff and the results were back to me within 3 days. Great job and highly recommended
