One of the worst organized airports I have ever visited.Very crowded, not enough seats, not enough screens with flight information. You have the feeling that there are 3 smaller toilets in the whole airport, the picture I posted is from the toilet. you wait almost 10 minutes to get in line for the toilet. Those who planned this airport did not anticipate that it would be dedicated to such capacities of people, if possible avoid this airport.

First time flying from Stansted. Not a bad experience. Staff were friendly and helpful.๐Ÿ™‚ Drop off was ยฃ7 for 15 mins, which is better than the other 2 London Airports, but then it ramps up to ยฃ25 if over 15 mins ๐Ÿซจ Very busy, but if you go right to the end just before boarding the shuttle, on your right there's an escalator, which will take you down to a quiet area where there is extra seating ๐Ÿ˜ If you're catching the shuttle back to the long stay car park, make sure you go down to the lower ground and through the tunnel to the bus area.

Too few chairs. The good thing is that more or less every chair has a charger where you can charge your mobile phone (that is not the case at the Gate). Also, there are several places where you can fill bottles with drinking water. You can get free bags at the security check. The reason why I had to put things from my bag into theirs is unclear to me (apparently because mine is too big), and they are the same size. Also, very rigorous, which makes going through it very long. Almost all luggage ends up at additional inspection and control, including mine. In the end, even the young man who was examining my things wondered what was wrong, he didn't even know what to look at. It gives the impression of complicating things for no reason.

It is probably one of the worst airports in the world. It is mainly dominated by Ryanair. The service is very bad. There are often long queues and the counter efficiency is poor. In addition, when leaving the country, there is no metal object on the body and the machine will beep? What's wrong with the machine? The liquids are all in plastic bags and need to be checked, and the speed is super slow. There is no problem at all. The whole journey was delayed. It is recommended to be mentally prepared when coming to this airport, and to arrive 4 hours in advance. Well, time is often wasted because of queuing, and the boarding gate is too far away, so I have to rush in the end.

Stansted Airport may appear somewhat simple and outdated, but it provides all the essential facilities to ensure a smooth and efficient passenger experience. Upon arrival, even with a large number of people needing to go through passport control, the process is swift, and within a short time, we are out of the airport even before our luggage reaches the baggage carousel. On departures, everything runs smoothly, and the availability of numerous open security check booths makes the process quick and efficient. The tax-free shopping area is spacious and offers a variety of different types of businesses.

The seating options are quite limited if you are on a long layover. The best place is the waiting area just after passport control - there are shops there including Boots, Burger King, M&S food and so on. There's also a currency exchange there, as well as a place to get coach tickets. There are several water stations. Lots of the seats at the departure gates are in tatters. The staff are generally nice and helpful (especially at arrivals). That's the best feature of this place. All in all, a decent airport.

Iโ€™ve flown from this airport several times now, it offers an excellent connection to Istanbul & Izmir, and due to its location it can offer midnight flights while Heathrow canโ€™t. Iโ€™ve generally always had a positive experience here, security is quick with out delay, the departure area offers tons of restaurants and shops along with a quiet area to feel more relaxed. Getting to the gate is quick and easy, and my flight has never been delayed leaving the airport. Arrivals could be better, it does take a long time to get through immigration and once youโ€™re through to arrivals there is very little places to eat and drink or to sit down, if you need to wait for a train or coach. I also found the toilets to be generally unclean and Iโ€™ve never seen any cleaning staff attending to the toilets, cleanliness is really where the airport needs to improve on. But I generally do like flying from here, very easy to get to from central London by train or coach with plenty of connections. Being Londonโ€™s 3rd biggest airport, it offers everything I expect from an airport.

Decent airport. The cleanliness of the airport is not good. The toilets are not clean, and there are some areas in the airport, such as the quiet seating area, that seems to be not maintained properly. There are minor flooding on the toilet, and some of the floor tiles have been torn off and not repaired. The seating on the quiet area has been torn off and damaged. The waiting area is too crowded, and the chargers are not working. On the other hand, some of the gates are pretty nice. Seating is an issue, as there are not enough seats. Food selection is quite good, Burger King, even though overpriced, is quite good. Security is quite fast and polite. They are not rushing you through like many other airports. Airport is very crowded, as arrival and departure halls have the same floor. Access to the city of London is easy, as National Express bus and Stansted Express train is close by. Not the first choice when flying to and from London, but good enough.

London Stansted Airport is a sad and depressing budget airport in which cost-savings are prioritized above everything - quality, convenience and customer experience. From the check-in experience to the security screenings and the boarding experience, everything is done rudely and roughly, with no concern for user experience. My own experience was smooth enough given I was flying with no handbags but I felt sorry for other travelers (including parents) who were having to deal with the attitudes of a frustrated, probably underpaid workforce that couldnโ€™t care less for customer opinions, experience, and feedback.

A fairly large airport, but very well organized. Legibly described, with good information, so passengers have no problem with orientation. Nice and friendly airport service. In addition, good dining facilities and a large network of various stores. No problem with the parking assigned to the ticket. I highly recommend traveling from this airport.๐Ÿ˜€

One of the worst airports I have ever visited in my life. Not organized, not enough staff, even the ones they have they are really rude. You need to arrive minimum 3 hours before your departure because the queue to pass the security can take more than 1 hour....of course it can when just a few security gates are open...people were missing their flights...it was a chaos there.... one of the terminals (from where my plane was departed) is very very old and dirty, there is nothing there only one vending machine and one toilet. And they made us wait there 4 hours.... without option to buy food drinks charge phones etc. Terrible experience.

Quick and easy to reach London Stansted Airport by National express or by train. I take the coach from Liverpool Street and reach the airport by 1 hour. Every thing is mentioned in the screens for the flights. The queue to check the documents take approx 1 hour. Itโ€™s better to reach before 3 hours than your flight timing in the airport. The airport is always busy in weekends. They have cafes and restaurants inside the airport till 8PM. After that they closed. You can have food in your bags. Try to put dry food to avoid any issues with the security check in. .

Itโ€™s a large airport but with even more passengers and fewer seats. The workers at the gate were shouting with some passangers (because of too big suitcases).. There are not enough bins. However, I really liked the airport shuttle - great help not to be late and to catch your flight.

Be aware! This airport is completely useless. A 11pm flight from Venice with other 6 plants which laded in the same time. The e-gate are are not working properly, some of them are closed. Low number border officer with stupid questions and this should be improved ASAP because apparently I am an EEA citizen with indefinite leave to remain, furthermore I am a resident of this country (UK) since 2014 and I was facing this awful, completely unnecessary this long time for passing the security and the passport control. The border officer should learn to read on a screen who is a resident and whoโ€™s not! Disgusting, inappropriate and awkward personal.

I generally love Stansted Airport. Itโ€™s always quick and easy. My favourite airport in London. But unfortunately itโ€™s getting so much worse. Last time we flew with a baby 2 days ago on 20th of Jan 2024 and we were so disappointed. They have got a new system for checking a hand luggage that supposed to make everything even more faster but it took as ages to get through a security check. We had a pram with us and there was broken lifts so had to carry a baby and a pram up and down the stairs. After when we arrived at the gate (I think it was gate 49) we found out that there is NO LIfT at all to get downstairs to get on the plane. And also the place needs some work as well. All of the chairs in waiting area are ripped apart, windows are awful and toilets are messy and some were not working. Shame really.

Walking through this airport is always life adventure because you absolutely what kind of attraction you'll encounter behind the corner. They do have quite big tax free shopping zone but mostly its a understaffed and poorly maintained airport overruled mostly by "cheap" airlines which are not cheap anymore because they charge you on everything. Endless corridors after checking in squeezing 200-300 in another small corridor it's absolutely ridiculous

Massive queues after snow overnight. Queues very long and not well managed. Flight information screens need to have larger font to be able to see properly. Screens are too small for where they're located. Lots of people likely to miss flights because they can't get to checkin desk quick enough currently over 1 hr to check in baggage for all flights. Queues for priority boarding and normal boarding not sign posted once at the boarding gates.

Missed a flight here because of a fire drill, they held us up for over 20minutes, and assured that no flights are flying nor boarding gates closing. No follow-ups, website feedback form doesnโ€™t work. No documentation for us to claim insurance too. Extremely horrible airport, everything is slow too.

People having flight early morning avoid if you can! We had no choice but having to take an early bus from London so we wonโ€™t be missing our flight. More than half of the airport itโ€™s been shut, there is limited seating area, people coming early were sleeping on floors! I havenโ€™t even mentioned yet how โ€œcleanโ€ they are ! This happens in UK, people!!! It happens every night!!! Other than that, staff was lovely, luggage self checkout was pretty quick and once you are in, there are plenty seats and shops of course!

Add a lot of time for everything. Security currently a nightmare (on a thu in Nov it was over an hour in serpentine lines). Then you are not told of your gate until 30 mins prior and you are stuck in this giant massively overcrowded area with line at stores and toilets. Then you get your gate and everyone is running to the train! Oh and WARNING: the security will make you take out your toiletries from your transparent bag and put it into their little one (or make you discard!). Only coming to Stansted if we don't have a choice.

Nice Airport when you learn the layout of the gates, stores, food and transportation. Be carefully with Ryanair. They like to charge you for everything. We were singled out and charged 50 LBโ€™s for small carry on that other people with the same ticket paid nothing

Nice and simple airport, seemed smaller than the other main airports e.g Gatwick and Heathrow. Quite close to London, first time I've been to any airport and not experienced traffic. As always staff are polite and eager to help. The security process is one of the most tedious experiences I've been through in an airport. There was low staff and the thoroughly checked alot of bags which I'm not used too. Despite that I'd would rather fly from here than any other London serving airport

Liked this airport but it is a bit far. You can take the national express there. The staff around were very nice, especially the pegasus employee. They were testing a new scanning process. Many cheap flights use this airport.

One of the main airports in the UK is Stansted, which is the second-largest airport in the country according to recent ranking, and is situated northeast of Central London. It serves as a significant hub for low cost budget airlines like Ryanair, connecting to more than 100 locations around the globe. I frequently fly to the UK through this airport and back. I then connect with a coach or train to continue to my final destination in the UK. Since Ryanair offers such inexpensive fares, many people, including myself, would have had a tough time traveling throughout Europe and other areas without it. There are sanitary restrooms designed for all genders and types of people at the airport, and they are kept clean at all times. My main issue is that there aren't enough outlets for charging phones in the airport. It's just as difficult to get a socket as it is to pay rent every month at this airport. Apart from one at the restroom area and hardly at a few other locations that are constantly in heavy usage. Sometimes I wonder if officials are even aware that the USB ports on some seats is not working. In order for passengers to stay connected to their families, friends, love ones, coworkers, and associates, the issue of phone charging ports should be expanded.

I had the worst experience ever ! I am not used to make any complaints but that one deserve it a bigger one ! I had a delayed flight and instead of 23:10 when the plane was supposed to leave, they delayed it to 02:00 am, which is understandable. I arrived 2 hours before to do the check-in and all the procedures. But unfortunately due to the lack of information and wrong information by the staff of the airport my flight was still on land ...I was called by someone on the plane to tell me that I had to hurry to get on the plane as quickly as possible, without me knowing that the plane was actually waiting for me. From the moment I arrived at the airport and saw the problem, I asked for information from everywhere, even with the people I was flying with, and no help from anyone. This is only because departures were closed after 00:00, so those who have delays or departures after 00:00, be careful to arrive before 23:00 so that you can check in even if your flight is later. That's only if you don't want to get an access experience full of wrong information and waste your time wandering around the airport.

I find the state of the airport literally unbelievable. Toilets are dirty, donโ€™t get me wrong it is you the passenger need to do more and then the airport pay the cleaners to do the job. But I really couldnโ€™t make any sense when Caffe Nero closed at the busiest time ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Extra โญ๏ธ Just for the amazing supporting staff helping customers with delays, going to the wrong gate etc. it was busy today and airport staff is amazing

This is almost the most important airport in London. A very huge airport where you will encounter a large crowd as soon as you arrive. The busiest part of the airport is the area where you have to pack your cosmetics and liquids and place your electrical appliances in the boxes to be checked.

This is a decent airport within an hour from most part of London. It's not as vast as Heathrow, but it does what it says on the Tin. There are ample shops here to do your last minute shopping for essential toiletries, alcohols , perfumes, etc. The boarding gates are a bit tricky to find, so leave ample time to walk from the security point to the boarding gates.

Airport was easy to navigate. We used the auto check in for baggage as we had checked in on line and this was a very easy process. Plenty of information boards providing flight details. Security process was smooth. Plenty of duty free shops and all the usual shops, bars and restaurants that you'd expect. We used the long stay car park to get to the airport which was a simple option

Nice airport. Easily to get from Tottenham hale station or Liverpool Street. Low-cost tickets from here. Also many people in summer period. Nice cafes to visit while waiting for your flight. Three terminals and a train between them.

A decent airport but could be improved better. It has a good amount of shops and restaurants. Some items are priced reasonably. Some places are clean, some are not. Toilets are not that clean, not so many seating area. Drinking water are not available everywhere. Some gates are too far to walk. For muslim travellers, there is prayer room available.

Horrible experience. Iโ€™ve only flown from Stansted a couple times but this time it has been horrible! Our gate number was wrong, despite us having a picture of the gate number which was then incorrect. We almost missed our flight due to this error. I donโ€™t understand why Stansted doesnโ€™t have 2 terminals for such an airport! Back and forth, back and forth, on the train and out again, and no one knew what our gate number was. Eventually another lady helped us, thank god. Iโ€™ve been flying a long time and never had this problem. I prefer Gatwick 100%. As for the cleanliness and terminal, it was okay.

Need express bus to get this airport from City Center of London. Checking and scanning for luggage was so strict. I lost many for my skin care need to throw it to the bin. I just left out London without passport checking in Immigration counter, I didnt know where the counter was.
