    I have used this centre for at least 15 years, the dentists have always been very professional with a good manner. The hygienist however is rude, regularly cancels appointments and this time she said she would 'rush through' my appointment as I was 3 minutes late (for an appointment they brought forwards by an hour, having already cancelled it twice). No wonder the poor receptionists are stressed working with someone like this. I shall be finding a new dental surgery.

    Recently I booked an appointment, asked to come in the next day. Arrived promptly for my appointment waited about 10 minutes in the waiting room before the receptionist came to tell me that the are refusing to see my as I missed an appointment 2 years ago. I then advised her that was after loosing a baby and apologised. They still refused to see me unless I was willing to pay more for a private appointment. I then asked for a follow up call by the practice manager and no response. I called back and no more help was offered despite telling them how much pain I was in. Really disappointed in the level of care and will be reporting them to the regulator.

    I have brought my family here for years and been very happy. As others have said since Covid the service has been absolutely awful. Appointments cancelled at the last moment, unhelpful reception staff. We haven't been seen since our lovely dentist Daniel left the practice. I certainly would not recommend even if you could get an appointment.

    I have been going to this dentist for 15 years, they are absolutely terrible now. Over the couple of years, appointments made and cancelled last minute, then try to rebook, can't get through, no one answers the telephone. My husband got struck off as he hasn't been (but we can't get an appointment or it has been cancelled). Finally got an appointment for myself, told I needed a filling. They would ring me with appointment which never happened now offered an appointment 5 months later! Also the Hygienist, rude and made me never want to visit. Daniel was fantastic and very missed. Absolutely terrible practise now.

    A more recent visit to the one below and the review still holds - Dr Marquez has been very able and helpful with a persistent issue, and all the staff were very reassuring and helpful. Certainly the best dental practice I've been with over the years. Absolutely top notch dentists. Friendly and polite and Dr Johansson a very gentle and considerate chap - great for those still with remnants of childhood dentist fear. As for charges, they are completely compliant with NHS dental charges (ie not free, but NHS is offered) so daft comments about those seem to be erroneous !

    Terrible Service. Avoid at all costs. Been with them for nearly 20 years all my children have been coming here all their lives. But now it's gone to hell. Can't get an appointment. My last one was cancelled by them but they didn't tell me so I turned up (taking time off work) to find it was cancelled. Same happened with the kids. Now I can get an appointment (presumably because I pay) but they can't. Can't quit as I am NHS. So am stuck with this lot. And yet still my kids haven't seen a dentist in years

    Been with this practice for 20 years but now it's truly dreadful. Had to wait months and months for my daughter's appointment for it to be cancelled by text with no explanation. Trying to book in again and the phone just goes unanswered. After reading other reviews I guess I will have to ditch the NHS and go elsewhere and pay!!!!!! Oh, and the hygienist Caroline is the stroppiest, rudest person you will ever meet. Why are you doing this job if you are so miserable?

    The only practice I could secure an emergency appointment while being unregistered, that I could easily get to in Brighton. Reception were friendly and helpful, the dentist that saw me was patient and fitted me in for an extraction there and then, making me feel at ease during the whole procedure (I'm very anxious). They were very thorough with my after care instructions and sat down with me to carefully go over the costs for my treatment while being friendly throughout. I only have good things to say, thank you so much!

    Shocking service, sadly this isn't the same practice as it was. I made an appointment, in August, for a tooth extraction in December (nearest date available) they called the day before to cancel & the nearest appointment available was next July! That will be nearly a year, the receptionist didn't seem to realise or care. It used to be a lovely small caring practice, now don't trust anything about it. Have been here since my children were small, over 20 years, but now can never get through to anyone, the only appointments they have available are with the hygienist, it's not good enough, am looking elsewhere... but probably the same everywhere

    I went to this practice and the reception was very friendly. The dentist (Dr Daniel Marquez) was very professional and made a thorough examination including an x-ray of my teeth. The assessment took about half an hour and he gave me an in depth explanation of what was causing pain in my tooth. I am coming back for further treatment.l must admit I am very satisfied with the quality of service.

    Best dentists surgery I have ever been to. Donna and the other receptionists are really friendly. Every dentist I have seen here has been kind and gentle. Joe is amazing. I was always scared stiff of dentists but can honestly say I don't worry anymore.

    I have been a patient here for 18 years and have always been treated with absolute respect and patience. I am a very nervous patient, terrified! I had a treatment yesterday of which I had been really anxious about and the dentist jo and the nurse Phoebe where so good to me and we t above and beyond to make my treatment pain free and calm. Also an excellent job! Thankyou so much I cannot rate them high enough. Thankyou Justine

    Great experience!! I am a very nervous patient and it is honestly an amazing dental practice with a lovely and caring staff. I needed a Root Canal Treatment to be done over the lockdown. Dr. Daniel Marquez did a comprehensive dental exam and did all the treatment that l needed on my best interest discussing all the possible option for me. I felt I was in good hands. Great environment, lovely recepcionist team too. I lighly recomend this Dental practice if you really want to keep smiling :) The dentist and his nurse were very professional always looking in my best interest and giving me lots of breaks in the middle of the treatment reassuring me making me feel at ease.

    The most blunt, un-sympathetic reception staff I have ever encountered in a dental practice. Manners and empathy cost nothing but this is really beyond the team there. Cancelled my appointment several times without an apology, also cancelled my daughter's on more that one occasion. Oh, and if you are unlucky enough to go, you will need to sit in the waiting room for at least half an hour as they never run on time. Even today (after 3 cancelled appointments) my daughter has had to wait 30 mins ini the waiting room as they are running behind again!

    Our dentist Joe is lovely and puts you at ease. Our young daughter has a fear of the dentist for some reason and he's been incredibly patient with her at check ups. I'd definitely recommend especially for kids, they get a sticker afterwards too.

    Been using this dental practice for years and always had excellent treatment. My dentistry history has always been complicated but I must praise Donna, the receptionist I have been dealing with, not just for my current problem but all previous issues.. Always kind and empathic and has worked tirelessly to fit me in at short notice. Would recommend the practice unreservedly. Donna is an asset To the practice.

    I have also waited a while for an appointment with my son since Covid and Daniel left, but have to say it was probably the best appointment we’ve ever had. Reception staff were helpful and the new dentist Jose and his dental assistant were great and really thorough. My wisdom tooth had become infected and rather than make me wait, took it out on the spot to protect my other teeth. I was worried but Jose explained everything and gently removed it. He also took time to explain to my son about the possibility of braces and what he needed to do to make this happen in terms of cleaning and keeping his teeth healthy. A very helpful thorough appt and booked in with the hygienist soon. Think the whole place has improved, we loved Jose and the new team. Think they are working hard to get as many people seen as possible.

    Ignore these reviews, I've been going here along with my mother for over 20 years. We've seen Dr.M, he is fantastic at what he does and is incredibly understanding! I used to have phobia of going to the dentist, now not anymore

    Alwas had fantastic service here and my appointments are always promptly messaged to me and reminders are always sent. Particularly friendly receptionist too (think her name is Delia?)

    This practice benefits from a dedicated team of dentists that give ongoing advice and care, and always show and tell, explaining what and why a course of action is needed. And spelling out consequences and strategies for self-care of our teeth. Over the years I have had every dentist, and highly recommend them all. Dr Adrian Moore is an implant whizz - mine are doing a sturdy job many years later. Dr Daniel Marquez made a filling in an awkward place today that was very beautifully and gently done - and to have Kate Bush playing in the background was ... an extra WOW! The reception team play an important role, and are doing a fabulous and compassionate job. Unfailingly helpful, going the extra mile to create appointments that fit your schedule. The surgery is always scrupulously clean and the attention to public health is highly commendable. Thank you, team.
