The concept and location of this filipino restaurant is good! The food looked delicious and amazing from reviews and pictures hence my family and I travelled an HOUR AND A HALF from where we lived after work to eat and have a great experience there. However, after arriving there at 7 in the evening, we were shocked to find out that we cannot be seated. The waiter that explained was polite but we were disappointed as there was nothing online to say that we had to book or even a phone number to call to make sure we get the right information. This was not a great experience after travelling for so long. Nevertheless, I still hope to come back one day and be welcomed to experience and taste the great food advertised and turn my review into a positive one.

Super authentic Filipino restaurant. A nice cosy atmosphere makes it an intimate experience. The dishes and portion sizes are very generous and would make anyone looking for their hit of Filipino food proud. Booking would be highly recommended.

Everything else was good apart from the service which take about an hour and half to serve without an updates from them. Pancit a bit watery/oily. As you can see on the photos, looks like it was uncooked from the bottom of the casserole. I’m not trying to discourage the customer but hoping this will have some improvement and hopefully this will never happen again.

I went here with two Filipino friends. I’ve had Filipino food before but this was to an excellent standard. The taste was out of this world. I’ve not been on the Brighton food scene too much so if this place isn’t already popular - it should be. A must for people in Brighton

Authentic Filipino food experience. Tokwa’t baboy and lechon kawali ftw. Super accommodating service by Jay and Sarah. Friendly banter and hearing about their Pinoy roots made our late lunch even better. Worth coming back.

This restaurant was the highlight of my London/England trip. I was so impressed to see a thriving and unapologetically Filipino restaurant in Brighton that I talked to the staff and owners. Their food is divine! I’ll go back and try their crispy pata.

I walked past this cute restaurant a few days prior and saw the lovely plants and decor that looked very appealing! I then got the chance to go and dine there with my partner. The place is a wonderland of found objects! The customer service was great and the staff were fantastic with good vibes. The upstairs view from our table onlooking the square was pleasingly festive! The only thing I would say is that the toilet floor was dirty. There was loose tissues on the floor and looked like it hadn't been mopped. The toilet and sink were clean. Everything about the food was incredible. Thoroughly enjoyed the food art and it tasted AMAZING! The staff were genuinely so kind and welcoming!

Great food. Tasty. Staff awesome informed us about whats not available on the menu before ordering. Atmosphere awesome. Slightly tight spaces but we got our own corner good for 6 persons.

I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone - the food was incredible, the staff were personable and easy to interact with and the atmosphere was great. The pork belly was some of the best I've ever tasted - the Pork Abodo practically melted in your mouth - and the honey garlic calamansi wings were both dripping in honey & crispy. Portion sizes are large, flavours are phenomenal and prices are very reasonable. We booked a table for 21:00 (1hr before the restaurant closes) and we were happily accommodated for all 3 courses right up until almost 1 and a half hours past close - your milage may vary on this but we felt very well looked after! As mentioned the service was great, just the right amount of time between each course and it was easy to chat with the staff. That was some of the best food I've ever tasted, I'll definitely be coming back. (one thing to mention is their menu says that they can't accommodate any allergies)

Incredible food, service and atmosphere. Really engaged staff, making time to talk and get excited about the food served. Food was fantastic. Picture shows Lechon, Beef Pares and Chicken Adobo. We were tempted to have another dish rather than dessert Good choice of other Filipino things. Red Horse beer, mango juice. A place to keep going back to. Small menu done very well

A very good Filipino food experience, unexpected for Brighton! I recommend pairing with the mango salad! Everything was very good, a little toward the British tastebud but still good.

Amazing restaurant!! Options for vegetarians, great ambiance and the people are so nice! The mangga salad was very soft and it's such a smart combination I loved it! The spotify playlist was also really cool (but I can't find it! if you could share it maybe...:)).

My favourite Filipino restaurant in the UK. My girlfriend felt like she was home, and I discovered even more amazing Pinoy dishes. The nilasing na hipon with that vinegar is simply devine. The pares also was so tender, it melted in my mouth. Salamat po!

Huge portions! With very attentive and helpful service! The room itself is small but cosy with a great view to indulge in. Lovely Filipino food will leave you saying Filipinyes!

Fantastic food, very authentic filipino stuff and an interesting backstory behind the restaurant. They were very nice about a delay behind our food and gave us some extra for our troubles, staff are super friendly, overall amazing experience

Great location with beautiful decor. The owners are wonderfully welcoming, the cocktails were delicious and the food super tasty. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back 🥘 we had a pork dish and tofu 🤤! Nice and intimate venue with a beaujtul view out the balcony.

We found this place during our short honeymoon in Brighton. What an absolute class establishment: the friendliest and most enthused staff, delicious food with huge portions and complete maximum bang-for-buck value. An amazing introduction to Filipino cuisine, and one we hope to repeat in the near future. Thanks so much!

A good selection of Filipino favorites well prepare and authentic. Really enjoyed the food and friendly staff. We sat outside but there are some nice windod seats quirky corners inside on the first and second floor. Plenty of Filipinos eating here add to the atmosphere. We were lucky to get a table so recommend to book

Great filipino food. Came here 4x in a year. I'm still coming back for sure. The only thing is that no one replies for when you try and book for a table in their ig and fb. 😅 Also, there is no contact number. Just go there and hope you will be seated or hope that they are really open on that day. I think, though, that they always update their opening times, and when they are closed on google website, in that case, times are reliable. 🥰

Great food and interior. Love the Filipino mythical theme and food presentation. Nilasing na hipon was perfectly fried & flavourful. Dinuguan was legit. Ube shake had the perfect Ube flavour (neither too sweet/overpowering nor bland). Cocktails (I think I got kapre) were delish. Sisig was some of the best we’ve had. Better than the popular ones back in the PH like Manam, Two Seasons, Locavore, Gerry’s Grill etc. Perfect ratio of ingredients, flavours & texture (which I think matters with sisig). Will def make a trip back to Brighton for it.

If you happen to be in Brighton, a resident or visiting and you are craving to eat something like Filipino dishes? This the place. (I’m sure they serve vegetarian meals as well) I don’t know what to recommend specifically because I just love all of them 😅😅😅

Suchhhh amazing pork sisig and lechon kare kare (they were out of oxtail when I went)! Lumpia was tasty but definitely not the usual small and more veggie filled authentic ones. Kinilaw was way too spicy, I’ve never had such spicy kinilaw in the Philippines or other Filipino restos. Barakotini was also the best espresso martini I’ve ever had!! Really wanted to try dessert but didn’t have room. Overall would skip the sides next time and go for more mains. Would 100% come back to try more next time I’m in Brighton!

Wow. Heard a lot about this place and it did not disappoint. Authentic, passionate and delicious independent food in Brighton. Shout out to Jay and Tania for being so welcoming and lovely. It was such a great experience, we were lucky enough to speak with them both and hear about their start up story. Genuine passion and hard work that has turned in to an absolute gem. Couldn't recommend enough.

The best meal we had in a long time. We both had vegan dishes that were absolutely delicious. And had a lovely chat with the owner at the end. We will be back! Oh, if you want to make a booking: It's apparently best just to do it in person (as we did, walked past, booked, had a drink nearby and went back). Or we were told to get in touch via Instagram.

The servers were so sweet and friendly. The food was amazing you never really get to eat Filipino food. If you're getting the Sisigu I think it's called - definitely share it with someone a bit OR they have takeaway boxes. You get some Filipino sauces and it's fun to try them all out and rate them. It's a pretty place to sit outside and take photos. Good spot for people watching.

This is a great place to hang out with friends and have some good food and drinks too, indoor or outdoor. I tried the chicken barbeque skewers, and it was great. My friends tried the other dishes like nilasing na hipon (I didn't like this much) and calamari (rubbery). They also had lechong kawali (I don't eat this so I can't comment on the taste). It's definitely a must-go for Filipinos visiting Brighton. It's a good way to rest a little bit after a few rides at the Brighton Palace Pier, which is just a 5-minute walk away.
