We went there unplanned as the other restaurant down the road wasn’t opened at the time. I’m so glad we did! Food is freshly cooked. We ordered salt & pepper squid, fried chicken wings, chicken curry and aubergine dishes. It’s simply divine and cooked to the perfection! A small kitchen and one chef, but he’s able to create these 4 dishes to the best delight to our palate. It’s simply amazing. You need to try it to believe it!

Ordered their satay beef noodle soup, roast duck rice bowl, along with a plate of salt and chili squid as starter, just amazing!! Their homade chili is to die for too 😆 Prices are very decent, especially for students. The staffs are all very friendly too. Definitely coming back here again!

One of my favorite places in Brighton as they have the hainanese chicken which is my favorite dish..comes with a side of soup. Have also tried their soy chicken and beef brisket and those did not disappoint as well. I keep coming back :)

Wow what a truly brilliant place. Great people and the best noodle soup I've ever had...and I've had quite a lot. Recommend mixing the satay beef and the brisket (comes with delicious gooey tendon) with the clear broth and a modest amount of their own very hot chilli sauce. I will be back...a lot.

Food was great, really fresh and not at all gloopy as can be the case with some Chinese restaurants. Service was quick. We didn't really know what to order but the staff were very helpful and friendly and we had a great lunch. Thoroughly recommend this place and we will be back!

Can’t find any fault, service was courteous and fast, both dishes were big good portion and tasty, especially the beef brisket was really tender not as cheap meat as some other Chinese restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend HK and for sure I will return

Terrific food, friendly staff and super quick service. Had roast duck with rice, garlic greens, salt and chili wings and wonton noodles. Superb. Just like being back in Hong Kong. And GREAT chili oil.

Super yummy, cart noodle is 99% close to Hong Kong style. And I missed the ice milk tea as well. Please consider to open a branch in the north🙌🏻

My partner and I walked down Preston street and noticed the food being served on an outdoor table. We came back the next day and ordered the pork dumplings, korean wings, beef stir fry flat noodles and for dessert the green tea mochi ice cream & HK waffle. The food was amazing, great taste, delivered quick and hot. The service was also amazing very welcoming and funny staff would definitely recommend and eat there! We will definitely be back again!

Very poor. The reviews are mostly very good so I was pleased to see they have a specific vegan selection. I really like more traditional Chinese food and prefer it to the typical food in UK Chinese takeawayd. Places like New Era (also in Brighton) do excellent vegan versions of many of their dishes. The trouble is, this food from here is extremely disappointing. It's pretty obvious that they don't really want any vegans to return. I ordered the "deep fried tofu curry with rice". It tasted like the curry sauce you get in a chip shop and the veg was obviously just some frozen mixed veg - see photo. And the stir fried pak choi and udon noodles, were stodgy. If they don't know how to cook decent vegan food, then they shouldn't offer it. I wouldn't't serve up frozen mixed veg and packet curry sauce with stodgy rice to anyone - this was like a school dinner quality.

Pretty close to authentic Hong Kong style Cart/Bowl Noodles. Tiny restaurant and can be a little cramped inside. Must try the Cantonese Wonton Noodles, best in the area. Decent portion, except beef brisket ho fun in soup, which looks a couple of pieces short.

My first time in Brighton, my friend recommended me HK Place. I ordered Hainan Chicken with Rice, and it comes with soup. It tastes delicious and authentic. I also tried the Hong Kong Style Milk Tea 👍👍 Staff here are friendly, good price. I even get to practice my Cantonese a bit. Thank you 😊

My boyfriend and I are from Hong Kong and we had been to plenty of Cantonese/ Chinese restaurants in England. This by far is the one that tastes closest to home. Tastes just like our local food. The staff were all very nice. Reasonable price as well. Would definitely visit again :)

We wanted some quick snacky Chinese food in Brighton and was pleasantly surprised to find this little place. They had a good variety of dishes, ranging from snacks, rice, soup noodles to mala skewers. We ordered the egg prawn hor fun, the fried chicken wings, and some skewers. The hor fun was abit bland but you can adjust the saltiness yourself, as they do have soya sauce and condiments on the side for you to use. The fried chicken wings was really good and not too salty, just how I like it. The mala skewers were good too with a slight spicy numby taste from the mala, they were around £1.70 for each skewer so not too bad, although I would have preferred more skewer choices. This place is definitely worth going if you fancy the typical Hong Kong style ‘Cha Chan Teng’ type of food. Prices are decent too. Value for money: 7.5/10 Food: 8/10

Our dinner experience at this remarkable Hong Kong restaurant last night was absolutely unforgettable for my family and me. From the moment we stepped in, the warm ambiance and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Whether you're a fan of noodles or can't resist a delicious milk tea, you won't be disappointed. The incredible flavors, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere combine to create a memorable culinary journey. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of their mouthwatering menu!

Yummy food! Quick service and friendly staff. If we ran out of resto to eat and think of, this is definitely the place to go to. Hahaha

Felt welcomed upon arrival, didn't wait long for food. Ordered the beef brisket and tendon with rice, generous portion at an affordable price. Not to mention the juice/sauce that came with the beef, so flavoursome🤌🏼 (yum yum yum)!! Having tried the other Hong Kong restaurant nearby as well, would deffo come back to this place! 加油👏🏼

I was very nostalgic for Asian food and home, and their menu caught my attention. I am so happy we decided to try their food; the waiters were so welcoming and friendly, and served us such healing Hong Kong dishes. Our first time we tried their noodles, and we were not disappointed. The next time we tried their rice, which helped me overcome my homesickness. Their mapo tofu is a bit sweeter than I would've liked, but it was still an amazing experience. I'm salivating just at the thought of their food. I don't know how authentic their food is, I'm assuming they might have modified it to suit British tastes, but it's such a hidden gem of Brighton that I strongly recommend! They have clean outdoor dining, and their prices are acceptable for Brighton. I also recommend trying their milk tea.
