Fabulous views from this lovely farm shop and café. We sat outside but the inside space looked great too- a large airy space with floor to ceiling windows to appreciate the gorgeous views. Good sandwiches and cakes as well. We will return!

Lovely spot for a quiet spot to eat, whilst looking at the beauty of the local hills. The staff are friendly an attentive. It can be busy at times, so can be an idea to reserve a table

Went here for the first time last week. Food was lovely. Great views of the Ochils. Would definitely visit again when I go back. Edit Oct 2021... went for breakfast this morning before leaving Scotland to go home to England. I have to say it was the best breakfast I have had for a long time! The tomato ketchup used was lovely. Way better than Heinz. I bought a bottle from the farm shop. A brand called Stokes

This place is a rare find. A cafe that serves great food and amazing cakes. On the end side of the restaurant, there's a glass wall the overlooks the Ochil Hills. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The cheese souffle is superb and the chicken and leek pie was also great. The cakes are out of this planet, huge servings and they don't cost the earth. Lunch was finished with coffee, which was the only thing we managed to fit in our belly after such a big lunch. And the bill wasn't expensive at all! Totally worth the visit!

Lovely farmshop with a stunning view. We ordered scones and a sandwich to share, it was OK however there was an unpleasant old grease smell coming from the kitchen, so I left earlier than anticipated. The waiter who served us was really friendly and helpful.

Love Muircot. Lovely owner Elaine. Friendly staff and good service. Always try to get you a table if you haven't booked, which is advisable as it's a very popular place. Plenty of parking. Clean toilets. Food is all homemade and is delicious.

The food there is tasty, but the menu is quite limited to soup, sandwiches, and cakes for the most part. If you visit at peak lunch times, you’ll likely be told there’s no tables, or how long you can expect to wait. The venue itself is quite loud and echoey, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re sensitive to noise. Nice in the Summer time to sit out the back in the sun and take in the views of the hills, but they only have a limited number of seats out there, so not always available (depending on time). I recommend as a good place to grab a coffee and a cake, but not so much if you’re looking for lunch with plenty of choice. It’s pretty pricey for what you get, also.

Lovely cafe with absolutely stunning views. Food was fantastic, couldn't fault anything. Lots of parking space out front. Is very access friendly, they have a ramp for the door and accessable toilets, plus plenty of space between the tables.

This heartwarming farm shop/coffee shop provided my husband and I with a special order lunch today - thank you. The food was excellent, tasty, fresh and well portioned. We also had a sweet treat of gypsy cream cakes and millionaire shortbread to take home and savour with coffee at 3, stretching out our enjoyment of the beautiful home baking and cooked food served here. The kindness and service from the owner and staff of the farm shop/bistro are worthy of a five star award. Looking forward to our next visit for morning coffee. P.S. the stunning views are five star too, especially on a bright crisp day.

We’re regulars here. Food is always great with a regularly changing specials board. Staff and owners are friendly and genuinely welcome to see you. Outdoor area has a spectacular view of the Ochil hills and provides a good, dog friendly space. Best place for lunch, coffee & cake in the Clackmannanshire area by miles.

Very welcoming and smiley staff 😊, brilliant menu, lemon meringue pie to die for and an unforgettable view of the Ochil hills, whatever the weather. What's not to love? 🥰🤷‍♀️ No wonder you're so popular, you deserve your success!

Decided to go for breakfast this morning. Staff friendly as usual. Husband had bacon roll, which he enjoyed. They also do gluten free , which is a bonus. Always have good selection of g/f cakes and scones. Will definitely be back.

Delicious, well presented good food served by helpful friendly staff. My first visit, recommended by my son, and I would definitely return. Also beautiful views. Outside area must be wonderful in warmer weather.

A lovely cafe with an amazing view over Tillicoultry Glen and the Ochil Hills. The sandwiches were really good and the sweets delicious. There was also a great selection of drinks including some locally produced lemonades. The small shop offers beautiful gifts as well as a number of local produce including meat and vegetables. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. A great place to visit at lunch or at tea time.

I am a regular visitor to the the muircot cafe and farm shop. I have never had a negative experience to date. The cafe itself is very well run, and due to its high popularity, you will find a lot of tables are booked in advance. If you want to avoid disappointment I would reccomend phoning ahead and booking a table. I decided to sit outside today and take in the magnificent panoramic views on offer . The back 'garden' has benches and garden furniture to sit at and the area is well tended. A visit in May guarantees plenty of birds 🐦 flying backwards and forwards feeding their young. A pleasure for the eyes and ears. The food and desserts are always up to an exceptionally high standard. I especially reccomend the sweet potato, lime and chilli soup. The soufflé (which has a 15 minute cook time) is also very tasty. On the way out you can browse the locally sourced veg and other farm good from around the UK.

Isn't it amazing how these lovely wee places are hidden away. I wanted to visit some where local and stumbled upon this lively Farmshop/Bistro. First impressions rustic yet contemporary. Friendly and welcoming. A small basic menu with a lovely selection of specials. All homemade foods. The staff are very good at what they do, the teamwork especially noticed. The food didn't take long to be served. I chose the Ploughman's lunch. Definitely will be a return trip.

The lemon meringue cake was amazing, my friend struggled to finish it, so I had to give her a hand as my Malteser tray bake wasn't that big:) however both were delicious 😋

The cooked breakfast is delicious and they brew a proper mug of coffee, too. Sublime views into the surrounding hills. While you're there, buy a wee box of fresh eggs for a really fair price! Lovely wee shop with friendly staff.
