First time trying Apadana and I have to admit that it was delicious. I tried a variety of options from the menu and they all tasted great. Quality ingredients that made for incredible flavour. However, I can’t give Apandana 5 stars as the portion size was far too small for what I paid. Each meal came to at least £15 thereabouts and I felt like I got £10 maximum worth of food. So on that basis, it was far too expensive.

I’ve eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world. This restaurant has PHENOMENAL food and the service is OUTSTANDING. Literally some of the best food I’ve tasted in a few years. Simply amazing. One of the friendliest, caring and hospitable owners/proprietors ever. I wish I lived locally; I’d be there constantly. Thank you Richard Spychalski for introducing me.

Great experience!!! Delicious food, lovely staff who took care of us every minute and excellent portion size. Kids loved it too. The overall experience was fantastic. If you get early bird offer, that's a bonus. Highly recommended 👌

Brilliant restaurant! Great selection on the menu which made choosing what to have a difficult task. The Hummus was tasty & the pita bread was great too. My wife loved her Lamb & Aubergine Stew, while my Lamb kebab was juicy & full of flavour. Staff were attentive and helpful throughout & are a credit to the restaurant. The only disappointment is we live so far away and can't visit more regularly

Great service, great food, lovely staff, could not fault this place. We had a brilliant time, this restaurant is definitely a new favourite! The meat was cooked with perfection, tender, flavorful and authentic. The sides are so delicious, the flavours are carefully constructed even down to the salad dressing, not to forget how well the food was presented to us. You could tell they have put their heart into preparing and presenting their food. this restaurant is a hidden gem!

Really delicious food, and such attentive staff who were always smiling and being friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the meal (Loghmeh chicken) and the baklava was very nice too. My friend had a frozen noodle dessert that was flavoured like rose water, she absolutely loved it.

Absolutely excellent food and service, run by such nice people too. We had some Persian tea followed by the seer sausages and borek panir. The sausages were tasty and rich, the borek panir were delicious. We also shared the jooje chicken and the lady who served us told us how we could either melt butter into the rice or mix it with the grilled tomato, we did a bit of both and it was excellent. We also had some sesame bread which was great for soaking up all the sauces. At this point we were incredibly content but it was impossible to say no to some Baghlava which was served with cream and topped with cinnamon, again, absolutely excellent. Just to add all this was only £35 (granted we weren’t having alcohol and shared a main on this occasion so expect a little more if you are eating and drinking a bit more) but not only was the food and service exceptional but the value was too. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Visited here last Saturday, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave the customer service is outstanding. It felt like a family run business in the best way. Everyone was super helpful polite and pleasant to talk to. Food quality was 10/10, definitely worth a visit and would absolutely go again without hesitation! ❤️

Have been several times over the past few years and Apadana is consistently excellent! Staff are always super friendly and accommodating and the food is wonderful - definitely get a side order of bread! Recently ordered for delivery and the quality and quantity were the same as the restaurant itself, along with a little thank you note! One of the best independent restaurants in Huddersfield, highly recommend it!

The waiters greets us with big smiles. Has soft warm lighting, comfy atmosphere. Starters comes with a reasonable sized basket of taftoon bread, perfect for dipping. The food is delicious, as a picky eater from east Asia, I loved everything I tried and look forward to making my way through the menu. Can order delivery when feeling lazy, but definitely should try dine in. The photo is seer sausage&loghmeh chicken, it’s hard to find food this good.

If I could give this restaurant more than five stars, I would. We stumbled upon it on Saturday night while visiting Huddersfield and looking for somewhere to dine. As a vegan, I am usually limited to one or two options but was spoiled for choice at Apadana! I settled on the veg grill which was very abundant and delicious, not to mention healthy (hopefully!) My fellow diner had the lamb and thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was friendly, the waiters were very polite and chatted away to customers like everyone was an old friend. So pleased to have found Apadana, it will definitely be my first choice for dining should I find myself in Huddersfield again!

When I went the restaurant was very quiet and I be honest with you all that's exactly how I like it because I hate waiting I'm an in and out kinda guy. Service was excellent, got served by the most beautiful young lady ever and no my review is not based on her. I had the hummus starter which was excellent and because I had been eating meat day in and day out I opted for the vegetarian option that was recommended to me and all the food was excellent 👍

The seer sausage is INCREDIBLE, the lamb sauté is amazing, masto moosir a lovely lovely dip. I’ve ordered the falafel before and it was up there with the best I’ve ever had. The lady who runs the place is so helpful and thoughtful (she remembered my husband’s allergy upon our second visit), a truly perfect host. Photo is lamb shank

Lovely place for a date night. The booking was impromptu, the service was brilliant and the cocktails were great - very thoughtfully made. Food was delicious and well presented, there was a great choice of traditional dishes and drinks. We will definitely go back.

Went for the 1st time on Saturday and this by far was the best meal I have had in a long time. The flavours were amazing... the cocktails were delicious. The service and host were very friendly and welcoming. We had 3 courses the food was that good. I would 100%recommend and cant wait to go back ASAP!! 🙌🏻👌🏻perfection

What a lovely chilled out place. So relaxing. The service is awesome. And the food is beautiful. We are sure to return to try some other dishes... The mushroom starter and the fillet beef and the cheese cake was perfection....

Delicious food, quite a good selection of main courses and starters. Although they warned us that it could take longer for our food to be served as they were understaffed, the wait was long. Everything else was great. The ladies serving us were very friendly and nice.

We came on valentines day this year and everything was perfect! The food was amazing, the service was top tier and the atmosphere just tied it all together. Many thanks to the owner for looking after us, and to the rest of the staff for doing such a good job - you all really made our night! We’ll be back soon!

The staff were absolutely great. I couldn't fault them at all, helping out describing the food, explaining the way it was prepared and regularly checking up on us to see if we needed anything. Even taking individual orders for a party of 8 because we were paying individually all the while being busy with other customers. The food was very nice but it is big portions, so mind if you eat before going there.

Popped in on off chance on Sunday after a long day out, just wanted someone else to do dinner. We ordered off early bird menu, food was fresh & delicious and staff were attentive but also left us to enjoy the food. Would def recommend

Four of us visited prior to Rugby League World Cup quarter final match as conveniently just 1/2 mile walk from John Smith’s Stadium. Family run restaurant which I booked having read some really good reviews. One of us a vegan who was very pleased at the choice of dishes available - she had the aubergine stew with saffron rice. Never having eaten Persian food before we were happy to be guided by the waitress. Food was absolutely delicious and aromatic. Lamb was tender and lightly spiced and the saffron rice was extremely light. Toilet facilities weren’t exactly top notch and that’s why I’ve given 4 stars and not 5. If we go to Huddersfield again we will definitely have another visit to Apadana.

I was so looking forward ordering from Apadana on valentines day to have a chilled night in at home , the portions are extremely small.As a Persian I know what a good kobideh is and the way my food arrived I was shocked! They forgot to put the rice into the container. The quality of the meat was awful. The lady on the phone was extremely rude asking chef if he added the rice and he kept on saying yes clearly not. By the time they sent the rice my food was super cold I had to put it in oven to warm it up. Im sorry but this is not how you look after customers.

Asked the ? What is Persian Quisine? Imo the simplicity of the food is a plus , this was delivered from the moment we walked in and sat down. Complimentary olives in some sort of mint herb sauce delicious! Starter falafel with a pot of humous & side of salad. This accompanied with bread coated with sesame seed again faultless. Main consisted of lamb skewer chicken skewer with rice side salad yoghurt dip with a cheeky knob of butter melted in the middle of the rice... Seated soon as we arrived b4 our booking time which is always nice . Pleasant dining experience staff extremely attentive and offered advice as regards the food 👍🏾 Will definitely be going again.

Our first time at Apadana - Went for a Birthday meal with friends who had been before who highly recommended and we were not dissapointed. A very relaxed atmosphere with lovely staff where nothing is too much trouble. The food was amazing, abundant with many suttle flavours. The Persian ice-cream is the best I have tasted. Enjoyed the evening so much we spent 3hrs there relaxed chatting. Thank you all for a lovely evening.
