Jacksons Nurseries, Tea Room & Farm Shop

Restaurant Cafe Garden center Farm shop Wholesale plant nursery

👍👍 This is my favourite garden centre and nursery in the area! The gardens and outdoors are beautiful and the farm shop and coffee and tea rooms are splendid..the staff are also really helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They also carry a lovely selection of heritage garden pots! People often mention good, tree, staff, lovely, garden, nice, home, recommend, plants, great,

Beautiful Tea room and lovely, we'll organised Nursery. Staff are very friendly and helpful, Martyn helped us figured our how to get out hanging baskets put together. They have a nice selection of wares and home decor items as well, so if it's just a cuppa and a coffee you're after, there's something for you to have a look at indoors too. Great space and they're really prepared for socially distanced browsing, I recommend it!

Found Jackson's tea room via Google and went twice in two days and both times very good service. Had the breakfast one day and lunch the other. Lunch was very nice, good size portion for your money. Breakfast the same again very good value but way way to greasy. Overall the tea room was nice and I would go back if in the area but wouldn't do breakfast again.

My cystus purpureus arrived beautifully packaged and it was huge. I really was surprised at the size. It had numerous buds and has been flowering beautifully since planting, the flowers are over twice the size of other cistus plants on sale, so I am delighted. Wonderful quantity shrub. Great communication on my order and progress too.

Well what a well presented tea room . We went for breakfast and it wasn’t bad. Didn’t like the sausages but next time I wouldn’t have them. They cater for snacks, lite bites , cakes , meals Sunday lunches and afternoon teas. Prices are competitive. Friendly staff . Yes I would go back . Closes at 3pm which is a shame . The nursery it’s self is great as everything is in alphabetical order by name. Good quality plants I felt a bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for . Very good set up . There are toilets available but not the best but do the job . The shop with all crafts and homemade pies, cakes was lovely. Definitely comeback.

Myself and a friend went out for a bite to eat and we ended up at Jacksons Nurseries. We had a lovely table inside by the window. The view was very pleasant and it had a nice atmosphere. We both ordered sandwiches with an extra side of chips. The bread was so soft and really fresh. I had cheese and chutney and the chutney came in a separate pot so you could choose how much you would like on your sandwich. My friend tried the BLT and this didn't disappoint. The chicken was thick cut breast slices and the bacon was also of a very good quality. The chips were really tasty and we really couldn't fault any of it including the side salad and crisps. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. The prices were very reasonable and we really can't wait to go back.

Ordered a plant online, waited nearly 2 weeks for it to arrive and its come in a shocking state. Broken and damaged leaves and this was supposed to be a gift for someone who has been bereaved. Full refund offered upon return of the plant which will incur a cost to me more than the plant is worth. Won't use again as you clearly don't care about your customers Update its worth leaving a Google review as this resulted in a full refund

Would not recommend this company - they left the tree on the street outside a block of flats in a random road that isn’t where I live with my personal mobile number and home address on full display. I found out about this as a stranger just called me to ask if my husband was home to come and collect the tree. I now feel very unsafe in my own home not to mention that someone has also received a free tree at my expense. I’ve already waited a week and they expect me to wait another week to see if I maybe have a successful delivery the second time. NO CARE that my personal details are sitting in public. Absolutely appalling delivery service - not even a notification that the tree was delivered which at least would have alerted me that something had gone wrong. I’ve sat at home for 2 days waiting already Go elsewhere and don’t take the risk of using this company - especially if you value your personal security Thanks for your response - yes my husband took half day off work to track the tree down and I called to advise you - yet still you refuse to acknowledge my personal contact details were left out in public for 2 days or the fact that I asked you to collect the tree once I saw how terrible it was - literally no branches from half way up. The fact my husband was able to carry a 5/6 ft tree with one hand should have been a warning sign that the tree was of very poor quality. It’s in the bin already as there are hardly any branches to hang decorations on. You should be ashamed of sending that tree out and actually expecting someone to pay for it - thanks for ruining our Christmas tree experience. Never again will I trust your company

Called in today for the first time.A busy tearoom which is always a good sign ,the food looked really nice. The cakes were really fresh and a good pot of tea went down well. A lovely clean place and really nice staff, also a beautiful warm fire on a cold day. We will definitely be back soon to try lunch next time...... Went back and had a lovely lunch and will definitely be back again. What a place to visit beautifully cooked food , welcoming staff and a really busy tearoom again.

Can’t recommend Jackson’s enough! We had a fabulous breakfast on Sunday in the tearoom served by pleasant attentive staff in great surroundings. We purchased a number of plants which are great value and quality. We will certainly be back for our Christmas tree and decorations as we are every year 😊

Lovely coffee shop. Looked after by Tim. Very generous portions. Excellent chips. About 5£ a big pot of tea. Large outdoor terrace area for dining or just a coffee and cake. Well sized portions and £48 for 4 meals and a two big teapots. The cake looked amazing but I was full ! The tuna mayo on the baked potato was too big for me . Decent specials pie and big mash . Well worth a visit. I didn't visit the garden centre but it looked great from my table!Mum loved it too.

Go to Jackson’s often for food and have never been disappointed, but today’s meal wasn’t the best by far. Four of us had steak pie and chips, the pastry on the pie was so hard we didn’t eat it all and the meat inside was dry. Not the freshest of meat and the chips were very pale and soggy. Very disappointed with the meal today.

I visited today with a friend for tea and cake. They had a great choice of cakes and scones. We had the coconut and lime cake and it was delicious. The staff are very attentive and polite. The young man on the till was very polite and helpful. They have a good choice of snacks too. I can highly recommend you give them a visit. The plants in the garden section were brilliant too, they all looked very healthy. We were both pleased with our choices.

Coffee shop great, good indoor or outdoor seating, plenty of space. Beautiful gluten free cakes, recommend the rhubarb crumble. Good selection of hanging baskets at the moment.

Busy little garden centre with an even busier tea room. Lovely fireplace centrepiece with 10 percent discount on food for pensioners on Friday. Good parking ( free) with home made produce in the shop

Nicely laid out, easy to walk round. Plants are well looked after, the cafe is very pleasant and seating "socially distanced" Only sad thing I felt was the 4 peacocks enclosure was way to small

Ordered a present online and needed to clarify a couple of things beforehand. The customer service was excellent. The tree that arrived was of good quality and value for money. The delivery service was also very good.

Lovely garden nursery We had an enjoyable relaxed meal in their restaurant which had an outside eating area with an impressive view of the nursery. The food was of good proportions and well served, with polite and efficient staff. The gardening centre was just as enjoyable to experience, the plants were of good quality and we bought a number of them along with a small garden ornament. A really lovely couple of hours spent on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I would highly recommend.
