As Venezuelan living almost 4 years abroad, it’s really hard to find a decent Venezuelan restaurant. Neither Madrid or London can compare to Edinburgh is this matter, I found this gem way up north! Its cuisine is authentically “criollo”. Every bite I had to the Arepa made me believe I was in my family table back home. So obvs I had to come a second time to try the homemade tequeños and Pabellón. The staff is A+. I highly recommend this place. To my Venezuelan people in Edinburgh: Maric@ tienen que ir, de pana!!

I love this restaurant, fantastic cocktails. I have forgotten the daughter's name for the owner to this restaurant. Always made reservations for us even when we walked in. I love the tres leche

Food to die for. The sangria was espectacular, and the service regardless being low staffed was incredible. The waitress was very nice. Love this place.

Excellent! We called quite late but they told us to come around and that they would wait for us. Chefs cooked up a storm and they appreciated my bit of Spanish. Delicious fajitas picantes, from the lady's excellent recommendation. My girlfriend had arepa vegana, which she also loved. Oh and by the way, the cachapa for starters is a must! :-)

Really great food and amazing service! We were trying to order online but had to call due to an allergy and they technically closed while we were on the phone to them but they processed the order and brought us it anyways even though it meant extending their night a bit. They were super kind for doing that and the food was amazing, so I'm glad we got to taste it! Would 100% recommend.

An amazing little place, we snuck in at opening at 17:00, because this place was booked to the brim for the evening… It's very easy to tell why. Delicious food; fantastic, kind and proactive staff; and lovely and loved in atmosphere.

Great place to try authentic South American cuisine. Very tasty dishes perfectly executed, and fried food was crispy and not dripping with oil. Fantastic beef & cheese filling in the empanadas, and a good wine selection to accompany. Very polite service, and overall meal was excellent. We'll definitely be back when in the area.

Popped in for a very quick late lunch when everywhere else was closed. We were the only two there. Our burritos and tacos were delicious. Extensive menu of Mexican and Venezuelan dishes. Cocktails served. Looked like a potentially lively place for the evening but I can't comment because I was there late afternoon.

Arepa’s were decent, only had two slices of plantains, a little pricey for the amount of filling. Service was friendly. We walked in without a booking, but bookings seem to be preferred.

Server was incredbly proud and knowledgable of the venezuelan food which was all great. Really enjoyable meal which also had Mexican style options. Small portions (at small prices) so order a side. Restaurant a wee bit on the cold side so take a jumper.

Excellent selection of Mexican and Venezuelan dishes, with the gluten-free arepas and empanadas and their tasty fillings very welcome to a coeliac like me. Our boys enjoyed the nachos, burritos and quesadillas - empty plates all round at reasonable prices for Stockbridge.

Lovely family run resturant. Make sure you book though. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing and delicious food, barely had time to take photos before we wolfed it all down! The woman who served us was very lovely as well, all in all a fantastic experience! Would definitely recommend and will absolutely go back

First time going to this restaurant and we had a pretty good time. Starting with the food it was a little on the pricey side but overall we did really enjoy it. It had a homemade quality to it and we mean that in a good way. This restaurant was quite small but in a cosy way however we did find ourselves unable to really hear each other due to a very loud table and loud music. We sat next to the counter and could hear the blender going off every 2 minutes which didn't ruin our evening however again was difficult to hear each other when speaking. If your looking for a quiet meal out then this probably wouldn't be the place for you but if you don't mind some fun music and good food then I would recommend this place.

Every time l come to Edinburgh l make an effort to come here and it never let's me down. The staff are all smiles and the owner cooks the most beautiful food which is incredibly different from anywhere else l have ever eaten. Try it you wont be dissapointed.

From the moment you step in you feel the amazing atmosphere of this restaurant. The staff is lovely, the food is absolutely delicious and the music will make you dance in your seat. As a person with celiac, I was so happy with the amount of gluten free options in the menu. I’m looking forward to coming back very soon.

Sadly a disappointment …. Second visit here, first was amazing, this time our table wasn’t ready when we arrived, had to go away and return, then waited an hour from ordering to getting our starter….then one main course came out well before the second one ! Food was really lovely and staff very apologetic, small fruity shot and cake as an apology. Whilst it’s lovely to see places busy post pandemic isolation, there does need to be some continuity of service!
